I've been MIA with my fics for awhile now, and I figured it was finally time to explain exactly what's been going on with me since the start of the year.

2025 has not been kind to me, and I've needed all my spoons to just keep going on, and haven't had too many left to spare on being creative.

I promise, I have not abandoned any fics, and hopefully people will come back when I get around to writing again.

Warnings for serious medical talk below the cut, including mentions of the C word (it's a long post, but there's a lot to update you on)

At the start of the year I was staying with a close friend of mine when they passed out and ended up with third degree burns. I stayed with them at the hospital and the next day to help out. We've been helping eachother out with various things all year.

Then a couple of months later I finally had a hosptial appointment that I was meant to have 5 years ago, but that got lost in the system. In which I found out that I might need to have surgery on my throat, I won't know for sure until a second set of results come back.

Not long after that, my mother was rushed into hospital with a concussion that caused a minor bleed in the brain. The bleed wasn't serious, but the scans picked up an unrelated anomaly that they still can't be 100% sure what it is. She's spent a total of over 3months in the hospital, and they're still doing tests.

Recent results have shown that there's a possibility that my mother has cancer in the brain, aswell as potentially in her stomach. But they still can't be sure if it's a bad infection or cancer. She's been on the strongest dose of antibiotics they can prescribe and it may have improved slightly, but not enough to be sure.

And on top of that my fiance has had trouble with work, and grandparents being ill aswell. Including his grandfather having to wait months for cancer treatment.

In short 2025 has been a long year, and we're only halfway through it -.-

Rebloging because I'm still not sure if I should do this

Would people be interested in a 'fic' that is a collection of my scrapped ideas and drafts for the Hazbin fandom? Some I've taken in different directions before posting, others I changed and incorporated into other fics, and others I didn't like enough to make into an actual fic or post anywhere.

I've already got one of these for the Spiderman fandom, and it's good to get things out of my WIP folder sometimes.

It would be a collection of unrelated, alternate versions of Chapters I've posted, scrapped drabbles that didn't go anywhere, and any extra things I didn't think were worth posting as their own thing. Basically, the cutting room floor of my writing.

Almost everything I scrap is open for someone else to use and expand upon, as long as they link back to me and give credit ^^

So, follow up to this.

My mam is still having treatments and tests done, and will be in the hospital for anything between 2 to 6 weeks this time, depending on if they can have nurses come to the house daily or not in the future, and results from some of her tests.

And, on top of that, I've found out that I'll most likely need surgery on my throat for a condition they suspected I had 5 years ago, but they are only just followed up on 🙃

When it rains, a freaking pours alright. Thanks, everyone, for being patient with me. It's not always easy to make lemonade when life gives you this many lemons at once, but I'm doing my best.

Just to let all of you know, the reason I'm not posting a lot at the moment, is that my family are going through a very, very tough time right now. My mother has recieved some medical news that has shaken the whole family.

I'm not doing too badly, but it's been hard, and mental health has taken a bit of a dip. As such I've not had a lot of time to just relax and work on art and writing, but I'm slowly doing things when I can.

Thank you all for understanding, and hopefully I'll have something new to post at some point soon. In the meantime I might post some older stuff I never posted before.

Otto Octavious is in a terrible accident while working at Oscorp. Initially taken to Ravencroft for treatment and evaluation, he only has one person who seems to care if he deserves to be there or not.

This one is an Otto Octavius/Rosie fic - Therapist/Prisoner AU, with our AU versions of the characters. Plot is strongly based on the 2000s Ultimate-Spiderman comics (1016), but with our own unique spin on it (also Otto is German in this one)

What if Harry had been born after Norman took the Goblin serum? And what if Goblin was as protective over Harry as Norman was?

Usually, only one fandom is active in my mind at a time, but currently both Hazbin and Spiderman are active, so I'm going to start posting for both of them on tumblr.

Basically don't worry or think I'm abandoning Hazbin if you see me start to post some spiderman things ^^

“Darling, I cut my teeth repairing radios for a local station.” Alastor waved off, clearly confident with his ability to fix anything that could be wrong with the equipment. “Why the sudden interest? Thinking of taking up broadcasting?” He teased, starting to inspect the least obviously broken set, half joking, but also very curious about Charlie's reasons for wanting this stuff up and running again.
