First Post!

I deleted my old tumblr because... man idk why it was covid-times and the prefrontal cortex was not in the room with us!! Anyways, I was reminded by my lovely friend @repecca that tumblr exists, and that some of my work has been going around on here, so I decided to post some of my work up officially! Starting off with my most notable (?) work to date, here's my LOTR: The Middle Kingdom Project. Now, it's been over a year since I posted this, and at the time I was... really searchingfor myself artistically, and I decided to go all in on something that I'd been ruminating on for a long time.

Every summer I forget how much I fucking love spiders I’ve drunk one every day this week

I love the idea of Bilbo returning to the Shire before Thorin recovered, setting his house and lands to rights, then locking himself away to grieve, only to have Thorin turn up on his doorstep half a year later.

But instead of the weepy, or possibly angry, reunion that I often see, my hc is that Bilbo would open his door, see Thorin standing there, literally laugh right in his face and then keel over backwards in a faint that it would take Thorin a long time to revive him from.

I honestly feel like nobody in lotr mentions how fucking weird Legolas is. He stays up pacing the floor and singing to himself in the dead of night. He deadass stares straight into the tree line in the absolute pitch black when no one else can see anything. He yells goodbye to a river he has heard about in songs. He's so strange and not one character mentions it AT ALL. I absolutely love him.

they mean more than i think some people will ever know

"I didn't comment on a fic I liked because I don't think the author would care or remember my comment anyway". fanfic writer here, I still remember comments I got on my fics from seven years ago. I still think about them and they still make me smile. your kind comments are what motivates us and what helps us keep writing.

I personally know writers who take screenshot and print out comments they got from their readers.

TL;DR comments matter to us writers more than you think. if you like a fanfic, never be shy to let the author know ♡

i needed a place to store my enchanter, so i built a 1:1 scale replica of the inside of the Vatican's main church :)

I used a combo of online AutoCAD models and the Vatican's own virtual tour of the basilica to recreate it in as much detail as I could
