The most important lesson I’ve learned is that no matter who you are, what you look like or what you do. There will always be someone who’s not going to like who you are and there is nothing you can do to change that. Except looking those people in the eyes and say "that's okay, because I like me, and that enough"

When a boy calls you beautiful it's like you gain all the confidence you thought you would never be able to posses, but it doesn't last, and that's when you realise that to feel confident and happy you don't need the acceptance of a boy or anyone else, you are the one that needs to accept yourself the way you are.
