If you don't have a copy of Peri Broadbent's book, "Acorns, Bees, and Cheddar Cheese" yet, stop in and pick one up before they run out again! Great little rhyming book for young kids who are learning their ABCs or just starting to read, with silly pictures. Peri's other books are for sale at the Hen, too, so grab one of each for the grandkids!

The Little Red Hen made through the micro-burst tornado in York safely! Our thoughts are with those folks who had damage done. Please help support our little town's economy, and treat yourself to some real Maine culture by coming to York Village and browsing in the many lovely shops, eating at our great restaurants, and getting some sun on our beaches! We love to see your faces, old friends and new!

That beautiful cocktail glass set is Blendo, which was manufactured by the West Virginia Glass company in the 1950s and '60s. There are over 20 pieces, all different colors, with several different shapes and sizes. There are even salt shakers, a pitcher, a martini shaker with matching gold spoon, and more. It's in nearly mint condition! Fantastic for summer parties!
