shifting/loass & what works for ME.
DISCLAIMER: so everyone in the shifting/loass community has a different take on how the whole thing actually works. after a lot of pondering, this is my take. you don't have to agree <3. we all have different perspectives and that is beautiful. whatever works for you, works for you. this is just me rambling about my experience and what makes sense to me and my beliefs. (sort of) long post alert!!
according to neuroscientist Patrick Cavanagh, "we're not seeing reality. we're seeing a story that's being created for us".
our thoughts, if we think them over and over, and assign truth to them, become beliefs.
beliefs create a cognitive lens through which we interpret the events of our world and this can shape our perception of reality.
by changing our beliefs, we can change our perception of reality and create a new experience.
it isn’t about what happens only, but about how we perceive the world; our values, what truly matters to us, our self imposed limits, the way we see ourselves; our assumptions about ourselves, our limits, and about what we can do.
we don’t see the world as it is, but as we are. our concepts, our ideas of possible/impossible (most of which was taught to us, not something we ourselves came to a conclusion based on our own lives), our traumas, the people we surround ourselves with - all of these aspects shape our assumptions.
when I started changing my assumptions, my limiting beliefs; when I TOOK CONTROL and created my rules for myself - that’s when I started to become who I wanted to be.
i stopped allowing myself to be defined by my diagnosis (i have bpd). i am not a disorder. i am what I choose to be. i regulate my emotions, i take my meds, and i don’t let the negativity, or the emptiness, or the pessimism get under my skin or overstay their welcome. I just tell them to fuck off, because I am a human being capable of being mindful, like everyone else, and you know what that means? I choose where my focus goes.
what took me so long to realize was that in the material world, several things are outside of my control. and i could dwell on this thought and entertain it for hours, which is what i'd usually do. i would let my mood be defined by the world outside of me. that is the quickest, most efficient way to be miserable: to entertain my worries, to let a concerning thought take over instead of letting it flow away like a leaf that fell on a river stream that i'm calmly observing.
i personally believe that, as Schopenhauer and so many other authors say, the only person i can change in the material world is myself. i can make my mind a wonderful, beautiful place; when the law says it “reflects on the 3D”, IN MY PERSONAL VIEW - the one i found some peace in - it means that when I am happy within, i see the material world with brighter eyes. the “3D” world is full of beauty and it's full of chaos; i cannot take the chaos out of other people's lives for them. what I can truly do is choosing where my focus is gonna go: the bad or the good.
i keep my awareness in the good things in life. i choose to keep my attention in the beauty of the world and in the good in humanity, instead of over consuming negative content.
last but not least: i still believe there can be something metaphysical about manifesting. but what actually fulfills me is the notion that reality is perception. that I am pure consciousness, and that nothing exists outside of my own consciousness. there is only the here and the now. i can rejoice on that thought, or i can dread it. ultimately, whether or not that is good thing depends on where my focus is going right now. what are my mind's eyes seeing? what am i saying to myself? what do i believe?
to me, these questions were much more effective than any method. and still are, every day when i wake up and choose this lane and not another.

Can we talk about how many extremely successful celebrities have admitted they manifested their fame? You have REAL LIFE PEOPLE telling you they manifested their everything and you STILL doubt the law?
Oprah Winfrey has talked numerous times about manifesting her dreams, including her role in a movie she liked by visualising herself as an actress in the said movie. “The way you think creates reality for yourself.” — Oprah in 2007 on American talk show.
Drake has said he manifested his success and even some elements of his house in LA by visualising. "This some shit I wrote up back when I was broke. See the power of the mind is not a joke.” — His own lyrics in the song ‘Both’.
Ariana Grande wrote a whole song called “Pete Davidson”, which talks about how she manifested her relationship and engagement with Pete. “I thought you into my life / Universe must have my back” — Her own lyrics.
Lady Gaga is super open about how she manifested her fame by repeating affirmations to herself. “You repeat it to yourself every day. And it’s not yet, it’s a lie. You’re saying a lie over and over and over again, and then, one day, the lie is true.” — Her own words.
And these are just some of those who openly talked about it, but there’s many more ‘subtle’ cases, just like how Megan The Stallion tweeted in 2014 “I promise rap is gonna take off for me” or Tom Holland admitting Zendaya was his first celebrity crush and now he’s full on dating her.
So who cares if Jimmy and his 30 followers believe manifestation isn’t real? Let them be, they don’t matter. They are happy with living in failure, but you don’t have to settle for that.
Manifestation found you for a reason, don’t let it go to waste because of miserable people, they aren’t the ones you should be taking advice from.

Reach For The Stars (LOA CHALLENGE)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Wowowow first challenge on my profile!! Thought I'd make things more fun for everyone.
Welcome to the Reach For The Stars LOA Challenge!!
This challenge is going to be very simple, very easy, very fun and also very flexible. I wish you all the best of luck in doing it!
1ST STEP! Pick a desire! Yes, it can be anything, it can be multiple, it can be a "small" thing or a "huge" thing (even though big and small things don't exist but you get my point.)
2ND STEP! Decide that it is yours. All you have to do, is literally tell yourself that it is yours.
3RD STEP! For two weeks only, I want you to live as if you have your desire(s) because you do. Don't let any doubts tell you otherwise, I want you to flip them and just have faith in yourself.
During this challenge, I want you to be insanely strict, no matter what. You simply have what you want, and I want you to KNOW you have what you want. Have faith in yourself for these two weeks. Affirm only when you want to, fulfil yourself only when you need to be fulfilled. Simply, just have your manifestation and act like you have it.
Ask yourself, "what thoughts would I have, if I had what I want? what sort of inner-conversations would I have?" Then from there, you'll use that and know that you already have your manifestations. I told you all it would be very simple.
Good luck, have fun, and most importantly, don't over work yourself!
(id love to hear your results!!)

The science behind "Act as If": it's actually a CBT technique
Although science has yet to prove the 3D manifesting effect of the Law of Assumption, the “act as if” manifestation technique we so very often read about and practice does have some research support as a cognitive-behavioral intervention.
Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) has long been a cornerstone of modern psychology and psychotherapy, offering individuals practical tools to understand and improve their mental well-being. "Act As If" has emerged as a powerful and transformative intervention technique.
"Act As If" is a behavioral strategy that encourages individuals to consciously adopt the mindset and behaviors of the person they aspire to become, even when faced with self-doubt or challenging circumstances. Whether you're seeking to enhance your self-esteem, overcome obstacles, or simply better understand the inner workings of your mind, the "Act As If" approach can be a valuable addition to your mental health toolkit.
🎀 Why "Act As If" Works (in psychology, anyway)
At its core, the "Act As If" technique is a cognitive-behavioral strategy designed to encourage individuals to adopt the mindset and behaviors of the person they want to be. It is rooted in several core principles that guide its implementation. "Act As If" requires individuals to consciously act as though they have already achieved their goals, even when they may doubt their abilities or face daunting challenges. This helps build self-confidence and creates a self-fulfilling prophecy, where the mind and body work in tandem to manifest positive change.
The theoretical underpinnings of "Act As If" are deeply intertwined with self-perception theory - people infer their own attitudes, emotions, and abilities by observing their own behaviors. In the context of "Act As If," this means that by consistently engaging in the behaviors associated with their goals, individuals can alter their self-perception, ultimately reinforcing their self-belief.
🎥🎲 The Role of Role-Playing
By immersing oneself in the character of the person they want to become, individuals can better understand and internalize the attitudes and behaviors required for success. Role-playing provides a practical and hands-on approach to "Act As If," allowing individuals to experiment with different mindsets and behaviors and assess their impact on their self-perception and real-life outcomes.
We often engage in "self-sabotage," acting ineffectively despite knowing better ways of handling difficult situations. There are many reasons for this, and one is our dysfunctional, automatic thoughts. Thoughts like "I won't succeed no matter how hard I try" or "I can't do this" can hinder our actual abilities to do something well.
For example: you believe you are too overweight to go to the gym and not feel bad about yourself, or you don't believe you can actually lose the weight you need. When you let these kinds of thoughts influence your behavior, you might find yourself avoiding situations you find intimidating for thinking they're not for someone like you, or believing it's a lost cause. "Acting as if" can help alter these dysfunctional thoughts. Instead of engaging with these thoughts, "acting as if" might have you engaged in all of the activities someone who believed they could succeed would engage in: for instance, making an appointment with a personal trainer, which would result in more accountability, a better ability to perform exercises correctly, and a more rewarding experience overall. If you were out of shape before, "acting as if" can help you get in shape sooner.
The catch in the "act as if" technique is that we can use it even if we are 100% sold on our dysfunctional automatic thoughts. We don't have to wait until our thoughts change to step into the role we'd prefer. We instead step into the role, which can result in our thoughts changing more quickly and more permanently. Better yet, we don't have to wait for the law to kick in before we get what we want.
🧸🏻‍🏫Steps for "Acting As If"
💭Step 1: Identify the automatic thought or dysfunctional belief that is getting in your way.
🔄Step 2: Identify all of the things you would do if you believed the exact opposite of that thought to be successful in your goal.
🎭Step 3: Rehearse those behaviors: Act as if. Literally role-play. You can do it talking to yourself when you are alone, you can do it in your head during mindless moments of the day; you can even do it with your eyes closed, laying in bed, and visualize yourself engaging in those behaviors. The point is to be familiar enough with the behaviors that you can use them without thinking about them too much.
🎬Step 4: "Act as if" some more. Rehearse the behaviors some more. Maybe get more creative (start dressing up as the person you want to be, make a journal of all the things that happened on your role playing day, don't feel stupid - no one has to know anyway!)
💁🏻‍♀️Step 5: Engage in the behaviors you rehearsed. Each time a dysfunctional thought comes to mind, smile at it, and continue as planned.
By following this you may, at the very least, come across more confidently. Most people find that in practicing this regularly, they start to disbelieve the self-defeating thoughts. Having several experiences of success is a great way to undo the assumption that you will always fail. And after a while, there's no "acting" necessary. ;)

philosophy, conciousness, the 4D (imagination) and the world
I am a philosophy enthusiast, specially when it comes to the field of Metaphysics. I consider myself somewhat of an existentialist, and I enjoy reading a lot of Sartre. In several philosophical movements and schools of thought there is an idea about how imagination has a crucial role in our individual understanding, perceptions and assumptions of ourselves, the world and the Universe.
Barthes wrote Camera Lucida in homage to Jean-Paul Sartre’s L’Imaginaire, in which Sartre discusses what the existence of imagination shows about the nature of human consciousness. His conclusion is that because the imaginary process relies on intentionality, the world is constituted not from the outside into our consciousness, but rather we constitute the world based on our intentions toward it (Falkner, 2014).
Yogācāra is one of the philosophical backgrounds of the Mahayana Buddhist tradition. Its doctrine is summarized in the term vijṇapti-mātra, “nothing but cognition only” which also known as “Consciousness Only” or “Mind Only”. This school advocates the existence of the consciousness and cognitive object. An object that we think we see is an illusion according to Yogācāra School. This illusion is due to our habits. These habits come from our minds. This is for our habitual conditioning that we see that things as real and in different ways. In other words, only the subjective aspect (darsanabhaga) is real, not the objective aspect (nimittabhaga). The object world is merely the transformation of our consciousness (vijnanaparinama) (Barua, 2019).
Barua gives the example of "an itinerant ascetic, an amorous person and a dog, all catch sight of a woman, but they all have three different notions. The ascetic looks upon her as a mere carcass (made up of the five aggregates), the voluptuary or sensualist takes her to be an object of amorous delight while the dog takes her to be something eatable" (Barua, 2019), or a caregiver.
In other words, an object appears in different forms according to the conditioned, subjective state of mind.
Bottomline is, in my humble opinion of course: we perceive the world not as it is, but as we are. Since imagination (that we call the 4D) relies on intentionality, we must free our minds from the way we were conditioned if we want to see changes in our perceptions. And that the way things seem to you (your 3D) is not inherently what they are, but only your perception of what they are.

From the first time I listened to the song "Witch Image" by my favorite band, Ghost (formerly known as Ghost B.C.), this verse in particular, out of the song context, became an affirmation for me. I made this on Canva for it. ❤

Two images to inspire you today. Remember: your thoughts control your mind and your emotions, if you're not ok right now, you have all the tools to change it inside yourself! Whether it be meditation, journaling, engaging in a hobby, scripting, reading your affirmations, listening to music that matches your intent or that makes you feel better, drinking a cup of coffee or eating your favorite chocolate to release dopamine, dancing, singing, playing a game, learning something new, etc.!
And if your 3D is giving you a hard time and not showing you what you want yet, tell it to GO FUCK ITSELF cause THE 3D IS BULLSHIT and it is bound to your 4D, which is YOUR ACTUAL REALITY. remember: you are always inside your mind, your mind is always inside of you. THAT is your home. keep it clean!
I wish you a great Sunday!

about sp manifesting affirmations
i used to read these tweets/tumblr posts with affirmations like "my sp can't stop thinking about me. my sp is crazy about me. my sp can't live without me" and i would just skip it. i thought, "my sp is a celebrity! he doesn't even know who I am yet, how can he be crazy about me?!" and last night I realized something: this is the wishing/waiting mentality.
you see, what I failed to remember about the law up until yesterday was that: time is illusion. if creation is done, therefore, my assumption is already real, he is already mine. if you take this from a chronological point of view, "I'll affirm these kinds of things when I meet him", you're basically telling your brain you don't know him. and if that is your thought, and you keep thinking like this ("i don't know him yet, i don't know him yet"), you will never meet him. because your brain will simply externalize that: "she doesn't know him. she's never met him", and THIS will be your reality: of not knowing him. Period.
that is, until you change your assumptions, of course.
if your desire is to be with your sp, and you already assumed "I'm dating my sp", you IGNORE THE 3D. you're already dating your sp the moment you assumed that. so if you're waiting for him to show up on your 3D to start making affirmations about your relationship, that means you don't believe this is real in the 4D. and if you don't believe, if you don't assume it's real, guess what? it really isn't.
so go ahead and unapologetically affirm "XYZ IS CRAZY ABOUT ME. THEY LOVE ME SO MUCH!" and whatever else you want to affirm. live this relationship on your 4D, stop waiting for it to happen in the 3D, it WILL happen because it has no choice not to! simply because it is real in your 4D, and 4D is the reality. 3D is a mirror.

your 4D must be enough.
if you keep affirming but not "living in the end", if you keep in the eternal state of wishing/waiting for things to manifest in your 3D in order for you to be happy, you are not going to get them. and here is why.
the law is based on the idea that our mind can shape our reality, most specifically, our assumptions. this means that if you keep wishing instead of living as if you already have it (because you DO have it, in your 4D), your mind will simply replicate your assumption on the matter: that you are waiting for it to happen. and so it will continue as long as you stay in this state of waiting/wishing; your brain will maintain your current reality: "oh, she's waiting for that to happen. let's wait". that means = NOTHING CHANGES. if your assumptions shape your reality, and you assume you are waiting for it, then the reality will continue to be exactly that: that you are waiting for it! like sitting at a dentist's waiting room, forever, because the dentist doesn't know you arrived. he is also waiting.
if you don't start inhabiting your 4D, deciding what you want and ASSUMING you already have it; if you don't work on experiencing the sensations your brain can cause you based only on your imagination, if you don't LIVE LIKE YOU GOT IT, then you are just wishing upon a star.
when you start LIVING IN THE END of your desire = "I got my desire, it's here, yay!", your brain will say "OH OK FINALLY SHE GOT IT", and that's when things happen.
it is already scientifically established your assumptions can provoke reactions on your mind and body. have you ever started overthinking and suddenly you were having an anxiety attack? nothing happened, nothing scared you, you are completely safe - and yet you accidentally convinced your brain you are in danger. so you'll have tachychardia, breathing issues, sweaty palms... your mind made all of this happen, because your thoughts convinced it you were in danger.
this is basically the same reason you can get aroused by reading a book or a fanfiction, or watching a spicy scene on a movie, or even talking to a NSFW AI chatbot. you can see yourself in that situation if you are immersed enough, and if you can truly assume that you are on that scenario, ta-da! your brain understands you are on that scenario. so it will do its magic to *make you feel things*.
the point is: your assumptions can make changes in your body, in your state of mind. and living in the end = living in your 4D, without waiting for the 3D, can be a beautiful, wonderful adventure. there are no "brain hacks", you were born with it!
"oh but won't I feel sad when I 'return to the 3D'?"
i could give you two answers. first, only if you want to (we've already stablished your dominating thoughts can change the way you feel). the second answer is, you can follow the law and know that it's coming; or you can mourn the life you think you can't get.
the only way you won't get it, it's if you don't assume it. if you don't live in the end. if you don't accept it as true. if you don't live in your 4D.
if you've ever played the sims, think of the following: you've built a house of your dreams. it's perfect. you wanna live in it. so you show it to a contractor or an architect, and they are going to build that house exactly the way you want. you know they are building it, so you don't have to worry if you'll have it or not. you don't have to keep visiting the construction just to make sure it's actually being built. it is yours. and you can play the sims as an aid to feel like you already live there. but, of course, you cannot play the sims 24/7. but that doesn't mean you can't think about the house, visualize the house, think of how it smells, see yourself walking around it; while you're doing the dishes, or a mindless activity at work, or working out, etc., etc. your mind is your 4D, and you carry your mind with you wherever you go.
nothing can separate you from your thoughts. use that in your favor.

"my wishes are conflicting and I don't know what to manifest" - stop "building a masterplan" right. now.
(if you're struggling with manifesting different things - an sp, a career, because you think they should match: this is for you.)
Before anything else: you need to have a heart-to-heart with yourself.
Now, ever since I was a teenager I do it in the bathroom. That's right. I sit on the toilet and have endless conversations with myself. I play two characters: myself and myself as a therapist (what would I say to this person if they came to me for advice?). When I'm "portraying" the therapist, I do it with an open heart; "those are not my problems, I'm just listening to someone else, so I can be fully honest with them" (if that makes sense). Like REALLY find that counselor inside your mind; they are there, they just need to be called. It's like doing self-parenting work to heal from mother/father wounds.
I had a heart-to-heart with myself last night. I was experiencing a lot of anxiety regarding what I actually wanted, specially career-wise and "how that related to my sp". Here are some "highlights" of what my inner therapist told me.
WHY exactly do you want this career? What is your TRUE motivation for wanting this?
Me: "I am extremely focused on an sp right now, an sp who doesn't know me. A celebrity. So I keep trying to find the jobs that will give me the biggest chance to run into him. I want to become someone he admires."
Well, you say you believe in this law (of Assumption), right? Then why aren't you practicing it? The law says it is done. Doesn't matter how, or where, or why, you already have it. If you manifest that your sp is crazy for you no matter what you do for a living, if you manifest you two are together, if you have it in your 4D, if you REALLY have it on your 4D (if you can feel it, if you can live it in your mind, if thinking about it makes you happy, if you KNOW you have it because 4D IS THE REALITY), the Universe will make it reflect on your 3D, not you! Stop trying to generate situations, it's a lot simpler than you think: assume and continue assuming. It's done. It already happened. It'll reflect on your 3D one way or the other; it is not your job to choose/plan how or where or why it'll happen, it just will! In fact, if you keep doubting it will happen because you don't know EXACTLY the circumstances in which it will, this means you are doubting! And if you persist on your doubt, you are not persisting on your assumption. The doubt is taking control of your mind, not allowing you to persist on your assumption. If you don't ASSUME IT'S DONE, THEN I'M SORRY, BUT IT REALLY ISN'T! Trying to DIY the law (picking careers, fixing ways to get near your sp) is NOT TRUSTING THE LAW WORKS.
Now that you've realized you don't need to follow a specific path to have your sp, what exactly do YOU wanna do? What is that career that makes your heart beat faster, that makes you shiver; what is your dream job? Don't consider any other factors; forget about your sp, don't reminisce about it being "hard to get", don't think about money. And SPECIALLY don't think "what will I do if it doesn't work?" - that doubt is exactly what is going to keep you from living it. Think about that. What do you truly want to do? What do you want to do the most? If you take a minute to eliminate every obstacle society has invented for you, you'll find that answer inside of you.
Stay true to your heart and trust the process.
That's really all it takes. No masterplan, no connecting the dots. That is the Universe's job, not yours.
