Grimmauld Place’s First Merry Christmas - Sirius Black X Wife!Reader

The radiance of the fire and the joyous laughter of his friends enveloped Sirius Black as he leaned against the mantelpiece, watching the snowflakes dance in the glow of the street lights outside. He took a sip of his mulled wine, relishing in the spices that tingled on his tongue.
As he enjoyed his quiet moment, Sirius couldn't help but overhear the boisterous conversation happening across the room between Mad-Eye Moody and Mundungus Fletcher.
"Oi, Dung, keep your eyes off the presents under the tree," Moody grumbled, his magical eye fixed on the thief.
Mundungus let out a nervous laugh, his eyes darting towards the twinkling Christmas tree. "Who, me? I was just admiring them from afar."
Arthur Weasley chuckled at the exchange, "You know, Moody, maybe we should put someone on watch duty for the night. Make sure he doesn't try anything."
Mundungus shifted uncomfortably in his seat, but before he could protest, Bill Weasley spoke up, "Maybe we should let him have one present as a reward for being such a good boy this year. After all, he’s not been chucked into Azkaban just yet."
Laughter erupted around the room, and Sirius couldn't help but join in. He was surrounded by his loved ones, and their playful banter was just another reminder of how lucky he was to have them.
His eyes then settled on you, who was sitting on a plush armchair by the fire, lost in thought as you observed Fred, George and Ginny‘s antics as they played a particularly competitive game of exploding snap. Sirius smiled softly, admiring how beautiful you looked in the warm glow of the firelight.
He walked over to you, taking a seat on the armrest of your chair,
“I could feel you staring, you know.” you remarked, playfully
“Can’t I appreciate my stunning wife on Christmas Eve?” a smirk played at Sirius’s lips, “You know I can’t help myself when you’re around, darling,” he responded, as his fingers traced your back lightly, his eyes still transfixed on you, causing your heart to flutter rapidly.
"What are you thinking about?" you asked, regaining your composure and taking his hand in yours.
"Just enjoying the moment," he replied, candidly.
Sirius couldn't help but feel an overwhelming gratitude that fuelled his entire body, for being alive and surrounded by the people he loved. He looked around at the members of the Order who were gathered in the room, all chatting and laughing together.
"Merlin, I never thought I'd see the day when you'd hear jubilation in this house," he joked, nudging your shoulder lightly.
You chuckled softly, gazing lovingly at the gathering of all their friends. "It's amazing how much things can change, isn't it?"
Sirius nodded, smiling at her. "Yeah, it is. And I'm so grateful for every moment we have together."
You turned your head to look at him, a soft smile gracing her lips. "Me too, Sirius. You have no idea how much you mean to me."
Sirius leaned in, pressing a gentle kiss to her forehead. "I think I do," he whispered, his eyes never leaving yours.
At that moment, Lupin approached you both, a warm smile spread across his face.
“What are you two lovebirds talking about?” he teases, taking a seat on the armchair next to you.
“Oh, nothing much.” you replied, playfully nudging Sirius, “Just relishing in the Christmas spirit.”
“Don’t think we’re the only lovebirds here if I'm not mistaken.” Sirius said, a mischievous glint in his eyes, “Could have sworn I saw you and Tonks snogging in the hall earlier.”
Remus chuckled, though his face had gone slightly pink. He took a sip of his own mulled wine. “Well, it's good to see you both so happy. You deserve it, after everything you've been through.”
Sirius nodded, a sombre expression crossing his face for a moment before he shook it off. He sighed, “Yeah we do. And I'm glad we have all of you to celebrate it with.”
The three of you chatted for a while, Sirius and Remus reminiscing about their time at Hogwarts. “Remember the time you and James levitated all the furniture to the ceiling in McGonagall’s office?”
Sirius let out a bark of laughter, “Oh, she was livid! But it was worth it just to see Minnie’s face when she walked into her empty office.”
“Yeah, but if I remember correctly it was up to me to get you both out of detention.”
“Yeah, we were a pair of right little terrors. We needed you, Remus, to keep us out of trouble.”
At the mention of James, Sirius’s eyes fell on Harry, Ron and Hermione who were joking and chatting amongst themselves in the corner of the room. A wave of happiness crashed over him. It meant everything to Sirius to know that despite the danger they faced, Harry was still able to find joy in these small moments and just be a teenager.
“Hey, you lot!” he called out, gesturing for them to come over. “Why don't you join the old folks for a couple of drinks?”
The trio grinned and made their way over, settling themselves on the floor by the fire.
As the night began to wind down, one by one, everyone began to make their way up to bed, saying their goodnights and exchanging heartfelt hugs and kisses. You had gotten up to make your way to your bedroom too, when Sirius wrapped his hand around your wrist and pulled you back to the armchair.
“Sirius- it’s nearly midnight!” you let out a gasp of surprise.
“Just stay here with me a little bit longer,” Sirius pleaded, his eyes locking onto yours. “I don't want the night to end just yet.”, peppering gentle kisses down the side of your neck.
A blush began to dust your cheeks, unable to ignore the way his lips burnt into your skin, “Alright, but only for a little while.”
Sirius sighed contentedly, resting his head on your shoulder. The two of you sat there in silence for a few moments, just enjoying the warmth of each other's company.
“You know, I never thought I'd be able to celebrate Christmas like this,” Sirius spoke up, breaking the silence. “With you, Harry, and all our friends. It's more than I could have ever hoped for.”
You ran your fingers through his curls, smiling softly. “I'm just glad you're here with us, Sirius. You deserve all the happiness in the world.”
Sirius lifted his head to look at you, his eyes glassy with emotion. “I am happy, Y/N,” he said, his voice barely above a whisper. “Happier than I've been in a long time. And it's all because of you.”
You leaned in, capturing his lips in a tender kiss. It was a kiss that conveyed all the love and gratitude that Sirius had felt in his heart. When you pulled away, he smiled at you, his eyes crinkling at the corners.
“Come on, let's go to bed,” you said, standing up and pulling him with you.
As you made your way up the stairs, Sirius's heart felt as though it had swelled about ten times its size. He had found happiness after all those years of despair and loneliness.
As he climbed into bed, wrapping his arms around you, and pulling you close, he knew that he had everything he needed right here in this moment : his family, his friends, and the love of his life. And for the first time in a long time, he felt truly content.

Playing Dumb - Fred Weasley X F!Reader
Tumblr media
summary: Fred Weasley has always had his eye on you and when Professor Flitwick sits you next to each other in Charms, he can hardly believe his luck. In a desperate attempt to get close to you, Fred decides to play dumb in Charms class.
word count: 1.1k
themes: just fluff
warnings: none
a/n: happy birthday to gred and feorge! might do a part 2!
*:・゚✧*:・゚
Fred Weasley stumbled into Charms class, out of breath and dishevelled. It turns out that despite staying up all night with George and wandering the castle with the marauder's map being one of his favourite activities, it didn't exactly mesh well with being a punctual student. Professor Flitwick paused his lesson, and gave one of those Fred-Weasley weary sighs, “Late again, I see, Fred.” he said in his usual squeaky voice.
“Very sorry, Professor,” Fred replied, giving Professor Flitwick the most apologetic smile he could muster. Before Fred could make his way to his seat, he stopped dead in his tracks. Peering around the room, he realised that Lee Jordan was no longer sitting in his usual seat. Instead, he sat next to a Slytherin student, Miles Bletchley, and was giving no effort to hide how miserable he was about it. Had Fred not been so devastated about being moved away from Lee, he would have found his predicament rather hilarious, but now he needed to figure out where he was sitting.
“Oh, Fred, can you please go sit next to miss Y/N L/N please?” said Professor Flitwick, noting the bemusement on Fred’s face. “Maybe you'll finally get some work done,” he muttered to himself under his breath before he resumed his lesson.
Fred Weasley scanned the room for his empty seat, his stomach lurching ever so slightly when his eyes landed on you.
Fred sauntered over to the empty seat next to you, determinedly ignoring the way his heart began to race in his chest. He’d noticed you in the corridor before, but he'd never had the chance to speak to you. Now, he was sitting right next to you in class, and he was determined to make the most of it.
“Hey there,” Fred said, flashing you a grin. “I'm Fred. Nice to meet you.”
You looked up at him, gave him a small smile and introduced yourself, but you didn't seem very talkative.
He really couldn't explain it, but you being as shy and reserved as you were, only made Fred’s need to be closer to you even stronger.
Fred tried to strike up a conversation, cracking a few jokes here and there, and making light of Lee’s unfortunate new seat in class. “Well, Y/N, I hope you feel lucky to be sitting next to me now instead of poor Lee. He's stuck with Bletchley, you know.” he chuckled, desperately trying to get a laugh out of you. Instead, you just gave him a polite nod and turned your attention back to Professor Flitwick.
As the class progressed, Fred tried his best to focus on the lesson and keep his eyes firmly on the textbook in front of him, and Merlin’s beard, was it impossible! It seems like no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't help but steal a glance at you, admiring your unwavering concentration and the way your fingers twirled your hair absentmindedly.
Finally, the class came to an end, and Fred and Lee met up with George and strolled to the Great Hall together for break time, plonking themselves down at the Gryffindor table. Fred’s mind was still preoccupied with thoughts of you, barely noticing Lee’s rant about his new seat, only half-heartedly piping up to express his sympathies, agreeing that it was such a shame to be separated from his best friend. George noticed his brother’s distracted state and nudged him, “What about your seat, Fredster?”
“Don’t call me Fredster!” he snapped, kicking George underneath the table, and then continuing as though he couldn't hear his brother yelp out in pain and a howl of laughter from Lee, his violent reaction being less to do with the stupid nickname and more to do with the fact that George had interrupted his daydreaming.
“Not too bad, I suppose,” appearing as nonchalant as he could about the whole thing, acting as if his stomach didn't perform backflips at the very thought of being beside you.
As the weeks went on, Fred persisted in trying to tempt you out of your shell. Fred wasn’t bad at charms by any means. In fact, he'd probably be great at if he put in the same amount of effort as he did with wreaking havoc amongst the castle. Yet, he took every opportunity he could to ask you questions in Charm class, acting as though he were struggling to get you to help him. You'd give him a look and scold him for not listening properly, turning to help him, and as you did so, your leg would brush his and a jolt of electricity would shoot through his entire body.
In the Charms class that followed, Professor Flitwick had the whole class on their feet, practising a bubble-head charm. Fred fumbled with his wand, making a complete pig’s ear of the movement, purposefully of course, and cried out in frustration, “What the bloody hell am I even doing wrong?”, his eyes darted quickly over to you to make sure you had heard him.
You rolled your eyes at him, walking over to his side, “Let me help you, Fred” and you placed your hand on top of his. If brushing your leg against his made Fred nervous, it was seriously nothing compared to how the touch of your hand on his made him feel. You directed his hand, mimicking the correct wand movement. “See, like this.”
“O-oh yes, I get it now, thank you.” he stammered, swiftly pulling his hand away from yours as if he'd just touched something scorching. He prayed that you didn't notice how hot and bothered he was and desperately tried to regain his composure.
As you were all packing up for the end of class, Fred asked Lee to wait up for him outside. Then, he turned to you sheepishly, scratching at the back of his neck and asked, “I’m sure it's no secret to you by now how hopeless I am at Charms.”
“Oh, well you're not really-”
“Don’t sugarcoat it, Y/N, I'm a mess.”
You giggled, making Fred’s heart soar, he might get addicted to hearing you laugh, especially when it's because of him.
“So, with that in mind, do you think you would mind tutoring me in Charms? I completely understand if you're busy-”
“Oh, no I'm not busy at all!” you interjected, eagerly, “Of course, I’ll tutor you, Fred!” you smiled at him kindly, “Does next week sound good?”
“Yes, that's brilliant, thank you!” unable to hide the elation in his voice, “You’re amazing, you are. I owe you my life, seriously, Professor Flitwick glares at me as if my days are numbered,” drawing out another one of your melodic laughs.
Fred bid you farewell and walked out of the classroom with an undeniable spring in his step, and a goofy smile plastered across his face.
Fred stepped out into the corridor, unable to shake the giddy feeling that lingered from his conversation with you. He spotted Lee leaning against the wall, waiting for him.
“Hey, Lee!” Fred greeted his friend enthusiastically as he walked towards him.
Lee raised an eyebrow, “Don’t know what you’re so cheery about, mate, we've got Snape next.”

There’s truth in firewhisky - Sebastian Sallow x GN!MC
Tumblr media
summary: it’s your final night at hogwarts following the end of your NEWT exams. you and your friends are all celebrating when garreth suggests a friendly game of truth or dare, with a twist
themes: fluff, teeeeenssy bit of angst if you really squint but it’s barely there, use of veritaserum
word count: 1.3k
warnings: alcohol, kissing
⋆⁺₊⋆ ☾⋆⁺₊⋆
It was well past midnight when Garreth proposed the idea of playing truth or dare with Veritaserum to You, Sebastian, Ominis, Natty, Leander, Everett, Poppy, Imelda and Amit, his eyes glinted mischievously as he waved the vial of the veritaserum, in front of you all, almost like a hypnotist, the clear and colourless solution sloshing inside.
Under any normal circumstances, this would probably have been considered a very risky idea and you would have responded to this idea with a bit more apprehension, but you all had one too many firewhiskys at this point, most of you very giddy and tipsy after spending all night celebrating the end of the academic torture that was your NEWTs. Besides, you all felt invincible tonight, you welcomed the risk.
Garreth grinned as he uncorked the bottle of veritaserum and generously poured it into each of their drinks, unleashing chaos onto the group as he did so.
The group laughed and joked as they began to play, their faces flushed from the alcohol, their spirits high and their souls carefree. As the game progressed, the dares only became more outrageous, and the truths ever more revealing. On a dare, Natty had pulled Amit into a deep kiss, leaving him with a dazed and dreamy look in his eyes, Everett clapped him on the back as a chorus of cheers erupted from their friends, and, under the effects of veritaserum, Poppy had admitted her feelings for Imelda, who uncharacteristically, blushed furiously and returned the sentiment. This gentle demeanour; however, was short-lived. No more than two minutes later, Imelda gave a swift kick to Leander after he taunted her for being, “soft”.
As the night wore on, the group grew closer, their deepest and most vulnerable secrets and desires laid bare for each of them to see. The mood was nothing short of jovial, despite the ache that lingered in your chest, knowing that this night would mark the end of your time at Hogwarts.
You and Sebastian kept stealing furtive glances at each other when the other wasn’t looking, which was something that didn’t go unnoticed. Finally, Garreth had turned to Sebastian.
“Truth or dare?”
Sebastian glanced around nervously, his eyes laying on you, and then darting away quickly.
Ominis elbowed him, egging him on.
“Truth,” he said, barely above a whisper.
“Do you have feelings for anyone in this room?”
The room fell completely silent. Poppy, who had been laying her head on Imelda’s lap, sat up, her interest piqued.
To be perfectly honest, the only person who had the right to feel as though they were holding their breath was you. It was no secret for anyone else in the room what the answer to this question would be, it was obvious to them, but you were oblivious, the both of you were.
“Yes,” Sebastian replied, clenching his clammy hands, determined to keep his eyes from wandering to you again.
Ominis had a wide smile on his face, “Who?”
Sebastian’s eyes narrowed at Ominis, as if he were thinking “traitor!”, and his mouth opened as though it had a mind of its own, the words he’d been hiding for two years spilling out.
“Y/N”, he muttered, “Ever since fifth year.”
You felt a blush creep up your neck that had nothing to do with the firewhisky.
Before you could let some sober part of your brain talk yourself out of it, you grabbed Sebastian’s face and pulled him into an electric, passionate kiss.
Sebastian’s eyes were wide open, taken by surprise, before relaxing into the kiss, eyes fluttering closed, his arm snaking around your waist.
The group of teenagers once again let out a resounding cheer.“Get a room, you two!” Leander jeered, while Ominis applauded, and thanked his lucky stars he would no longer have to witness you pining for one another.
You and Sebastian remained close for the rest of the night, your hands interlaced with his and your head resting on his shoulder.
As the day threatened to break, the group gradually dispersed, heading back to their respective dormitories. You noticed Natty and Amit leaving hand in hand, and a warmth swelled in your chest.
You and Sebastian walked back together, your hands still linked with one another, your footsteps echoing through the corridor and the biting chill of the vast castle nipping at your flushed faces. Sebastian stopped, turning to you, his honey-brown eyes fixed on you, searchingly, “Is it true? Do you really have feelings for me?”
You nodded, “Yes, of course I have, all this time.”, your eyes shined back at him, full of sincerity.
That familiar cocky smirk spread across Sebastian’s face, “So, what you're really saying is that you've been pining for me?”
You scoffed, “No!” shoving him playfully.
He let out a chuckle, raising his eyebrows, unconvinced.
“Maybe,” you confessed, coyly.
Sebastian’s face broke into a prideful grin, obviously pleased with himself.
“I wouldn't get such a big head about it though, Sebastian, from what I’ve heard tonight, it sounds like you were pining too.”
“That could be true,” he murmured, pulling you in by the waist and closing the gap between you two, brushing his lips against yours before pressing another kiss to your lips. This time, it was slow and lingering.
You whispered against his lips, “Sebastian, it’s time to go.”
Sebastian hummed, not pulling away.
“Sebastian” You whispered again, breaking the kiss.
With one last longing look, Sebastian finally pulled away, “Alright, alright. I'll walk you back to your dormitory,” he said, a lopsided grin on his face.
You smiled back at him, your heart feeling light and full at the thought of what was to come between the two of you. As you walked back to your dormitory, your hand still clasped in Sebastian’s, you couldn't help but feel grateful for Garreth's idea to play truth or dare with Veritaserum, and for the courage it gave you both to finally admit your feelings for each other.
You knew that your relationship with Sebastian would be far from easy, if the events of your fifth year were anything to go by, but you were ready to take on whatever challenges came your way, as long as you had him by your side.
———————————————————————
The next morning, as you packed your bags and prepared to leave Hogwarts for good, you felt an ambivalent feeling in your heart. You were excited for the future and what it held, but you would miss the memories and the people that had made your time at Hogwarts so special.
As you made your way to Hogsmeade Station with Poppy, Sebastian caught up with you, his hand slipping into yours. You smiled, feeling content and happy with him by your side.
Before boarding the Hogwarts Express, you turned to Sebastian.
“I’m going to miss you,” you said, your voice soft.
“I’m going to miss you too,” Sebastian replied, his eyes glistening.
“I’ll write to you every day,” you promised, knowing that it might not be possible, but wanting to reassure him.
Sebastian smiled, his freckled hand coming up to brush a strand of hair from your face. “I’ll be waiting for your letters.”
You hugged each other tightly, not wanting to let go. As you finally pulled away, you gave him one last kiss before turning and walking away, feeling his eyes on your back.
As you clambered onto the Hogwarts Express, you knew that things were going to be different now. You were entering a new chapter of your life, and you couldn't wait to see what the future held. But for now, you were content in knowing that you had someone who loved you by your side, and that was all that mattered.
