The genocide in Ghazzah has caused permanent effects on those who survived it. Many Ghazzans have lost their homes, their health, and their loved ones. Many survivors are still at risk of more serious health effects due to being deprived of food, shelter, and medical care for so long. One person you can help is Suham Bader. Suham's arm was injured over a year ago, but she was not able to recieve treatment for it as her family was forced to flee their home. Without medical treatment, her bone fused incorrectly. During a year of suffering through cold and pain, Suham's condition has kept getting worse. Her parents and her uncle @hashembadr are very worried for her. If Suham does not recieve surgery soon, she will lose her arm entirely.

Hashem and his family have been fundraising for almost a year now, but they have only reached 14% of their goal so far. They urgently need funds for Suham to get the surgery she require, but donations keep stopping for days at a time. They still need to raise around £4900 to cover the price of surgery and the transfer costs.

with all great written character in the rookie - except for maybe two - angela lopez is top tier. looking back at all the jokes about fearing lopez, they really could make her stereotypical badass woman with no make-up or gothic style with scissors in her hand and whom everyone is seriously afraid of but they didn't. she's fun. she loves girls' nights. she is supportive bff. she's messy. she cries after fight with her bf. she believes in curses. and still everyone is afraid of her. angela lopez is the best character ever.

i love tim bradford and lucy chen relationship. mostly because they aren't so predictable example of asshole x sunshine trope. usually most characters who we meet as a handsome asshole tormenting for no reason a sunshine character, later turns out to be actually "broken" because of some sad past so ofc sunshine character forgives them bc that's perfect excuse right. not here. bradford is actually just a tough guy and occasionally a real asshole and we learn about his sad past first episode. what more, that sad past doesn't actually make him a bigger asshole (ekhem, usually), instead he's getting more vulnarable bc of it and lucy does not excuse his actions but try to put him in his place or pays him back. love it.
