Life update

So it's been a good bit. Sorry I've kinda just ghosted you guys. My birthday passed a few days ago and I've been applying for jobs, but I'd like to return. Indefinite Hiatus

Soooooo.. this might be a lil too dark. But anyways, can I get Taiju, Draken, Sanzu, Izana and the Haitanis with a reader that’s used to lots of yelling. Like, grew up with parents who argued and yelled a lot. Often sleeping at friend’s houses bc she didn’t want to go home. So she very often starts to argue over small things, and thinks even the smallest things are gonna be an argument bc she was raised that way.

Taiju

○ Taiju is very used to the yelling and arguing from being a gang leader and everything that he did to his siblings. Tho after Hakkai stood up to him, he went to therapy and learned all the yelling was not healthy.

○ He set himself straight and met you. But further into the relationship, he started to notice your behavior. At any simple miscommunication or issue, you'd blow up and start an argument. It's almost like you're trying to assert yourself as right and strong.

○ He knew he had to make some changes when after an argument over the dishes, you chose to go stay at a friend's. He needs to fix these unresolved issues with you fast.

○ Now when an argument starts, instead of yelling back or trying to argue, he takes a deep breath and reminds you he's not the enemy. He isn't going to yell at you for forgetting to take the chicken out of the freezer. It'll take some time, but he wants to help you heal. This is a safe place, he would never hurt you

Draken

○ Draken isn't gonna put up with your arguments. He's not gonna scream and yell at you, if you're not gonna discuss the issue at hand like adults, he's gonna give you space

○ Even if he has to leave his own place so you have somewhere to stay for the night, he'll go crash at Mikey's or something til you can get in a clear head space to talk normally

○ He knows how you were raised and he hates it. He hates arguments and tries to avoid them as much as possible. He's also a gentleman. He'd never yell at a woman or even think about showing himself as superior. That's just dumb

○ He knows it isn't the nicest thing, but he's gotta break your bad habits one way or another

Sanzu

○ Sanzu is a very different case. Man is traumatized as well with the yelling and arguments. He argued with Takeomi just about every day before leaving, so you two don't blend very well

○ He definitely takes the arguments personally, feeling attacked the moment you raise your voice. He definitely doesn't understand at first, thinking you're just attacking him instead of realizing your trauma, so he yells back

○ But the moment you leave to stay with one of your friends, it all clicks. And he makes some big changes

○ Next argument, he just stays silent until you're finished or realize he hasn't said a word. Afterward, he'd just ask simple questions like what you two should have for dinner or if you're gonna watch a movie that night. It's not the best, but it at least distracts you for a bit til he can find you two a good therapist

My personality is a whole mix of things. I'm an ambivert, INFP, and while I do enjoy social gatherings I don't have a good social battery, so most of the time I like to sit back and watch people in how they interact. I'm hella introspective and I like paying attention to small details and symbolism and what things mean to people and why. I love getting to know people past what they show— I like to know how they think and act. Otherwise, I enjoy my own company and tend to isolate myself— Sometimes I feel like I'm a ghost who people don't notice, but I notice. I like a quiet, simple life.

My hobbies include reading, listening to music, writing poetry/literature and I enjoy ice skating, as well as reading about game lore, or watching playthroughs or digging into characterization for characters and seeing what makes them... them. I really hyperfixate onto shows and learn about all the hidden details and symbolism and all.

My favorite animal is a fox/rabbit/cat (ironic, I am aware), I like the colour blue, and my favorite shows are Arcane and JJK, and some of my favorite music artists are Chase Atlantic, Billie Eilish and Kendrick Lamar.

Toji Fushiguro!

•Toji is utterly besotted with you. You both frequented a relatively cheap restaurant where you would people watch or read and he would eat as much as his wallet could tolerate. The two of you formed a habit of chatting over lunch. Most wouldn’t be able to tell from the blunt, crass way he speaks, but Toji is a smart man. Conversations with you tend to take an analytical turn, and you often try to pry what he really thinks about a movie he’s seen or current event, and while he finds it annoying at first, he enjoys intellectual outlet. It's one thing for him to know that he’s not just a brute, but having someone seek out his opinion and counsel makes him feel things he hasn’t for a long time.

•Toji is not shy. In fact, he’s brazenly flirtatious. Despite this, your timidity and his awareness of just how different the two of you are when it comes to what you want out of life prevents either of you two from actually asking each other out at first. You want simplicity and he wants as much action and extravagance as he possibly can before his mortal body gives out. Not that he won't consider reevaluating his priorities, but he had already done that when he quit gambling and settled down with Megumi’s mother. Losing her had stung bitterly, and catapulted him right back to his worst habits and jaded worldview. But as time passes, he realizes that wallowing in excess and resentment for the world at large does him no favors. If you’ll have him as he is, he’ll be the best ‘Toji’ he possibly can.

•When you and Toji are properly going steady, your friends find it absolutely adorable. He always carries your stuff for you, holds open doors, and the like (he’s not chivalrous in any sense of the word, but anyone can be a little sappy when in love). Toji takes to ice skating fairly quickly so you two are that couple on the rink.

•While neither of you talk overmuch in public, you are constantly throwing meaningful glances at the other whenever someone else says something outrageous. It's almost telepathic with how in sync you and Toji are when it comes to communicating nonverbally. Back in the privacy of your own apartment, you dissect other people's behavior that you’ve seen or heard and he chimes in with commentary that is waaaay too judgmental but also hilarious. When all topics of conversation are exhausted, he elects to train while you listen to music, reading or watch a playthrough, enjoying the companionable silence.

For personality I'm extremely extroverted and social, quite like a puppy, loud and energetic with other people, I enjoy teasing and having bursts of energy when I'm around those who I love. I'm very talktative, hence why I tend to reach out to people first without much thought, saying the first honest compliment that comes to mind. I'm also argumentative, but I love hearing people out and have long conversations about pretty much anything that's of interest. Because I'm an overthinker, my biggest fear by far is to be considered or be told that I'm annoying bc of how much I talk or how weird I am, doesn't even matter if it's said in a clear joking matter. I have quite a strong temper and confidence too, and I can sometimes come off as arrogant or stubborn, but I always back down at the end because I don't want to be seen as an asshole or rude. I have quite a lot of empathy too, to the point its detrimental, and since I tend to have bursts of every emotion imaginable I cry a lot, laugh a lot, scream a lot, and becomes quite unstable. I'm so extremely against killing any bug whatsoever I won't ever ever damage one at all. My hobbies include fashion, writing, debating and watching animated series, musicals or horror movies, and I'm also big on dancing and eating out, listening to music 24/7 headphones on at all times no joke. My favourite drink is coca cola (I drink cans multiple times a day), my favourite color is red and my favourite animals are toads. I'm the oldest, most responsable sibling in a family of 6 and I love my black cat named Lilith, shes my world. I talk very easily and openly about my traumas and background of violence, because it's a huge part of my life, in the most neutral tone possible. My love languages are words of affirmation and acts of services, because PDA comes so naturally to me, I don't even include it on the list. I think my biggest red flag is that I love to chase people out of love but the moment they reciprocate I feel scared and run away or close off, because I'm afraid of being loved back. As for appearance, I'm 170cm tall, wavy long hair to waist, I wear glasses and have big green eyes, a lot of freckles in my face and smile lines, big eyebags and puffy cheeks, lean frame with an accentuated waist and a curved in S spine, with bad posture, long legs and not a lot of curves.

Naoto Tachibana!

•There's a lot of characters who I’d think you’d get along well with, but you and Naoto would really click, to the slight surprise of the people around you. He’s a very no-nonsense type of guy, and you are boisterous with a teasing streak. Yet, you're so affable in the way you speak that it's hard for him not to enjoy your company. You crack some silly joke and he deadpans a smartass response, and it only animates you further. It could be an intellectual debate or the stupidest conversation you’ve ever had. He would definitely complain, but still seems to hang onto your every word. He also appreciates how responsible and caring you are.

•Naoto expresses affection a little differently from you. He’s properly flustered by PDA, just flat out scandalized, but he makes up for it in acts of service and quality time. He would learn to paint your nails, and incorporate simple motifs with the color red (ladybug, strawberry, etc), begrudgingly pick up bug relocation duty, and move his work computer so he could do paperwork while you chat in the background, just to absorb your presence. He appreciates it when you dote on him during the harder cases, coming into his office with a cup or tea or a snack while he hunches over his computer on another all nighter. When it comes to words of affirmation, you definitely express affection more often (and he’s become reliant on it), but he sure has his moments. He casually mentions one time that he's counted how many freckles you have and when you jokingly ask him one time if he would love you if you were a worm, he turns to you and responds “Darling, I already love you when you're a shrimp.” He then sets his hands upon your shoulders and straightens your posture.

•Naoto doesn’t clock you as arrogant or stubborn, but he definitely overestimates your level of confidence. Should your fear of being disliked or intimacy surface, he’d be genuinely surprised. However, his bluntness means he’s also sincere, and he puts those fears to rest. It’s almost comic actually, how straightforward he is. “You better not change. Ever.” or something equally awkward but sweet.

•When it comes to your past, he's not great at comfort, but he is a great listener and definitely takes it to heart. Your experience, whatever it may be, informs how he approaches his job as a policeman. He may not be able to undo what's happened, but he can improve other’s lives on your behalf.

Personally I also Gert very tried from it as well, and the medicine ofc. And yes, I have this I have had it since 14 💪🏻 but don’t worry I have learned to live with this shit and it’s fine. But like here’s the twist to it all, I very often pretend like I’m not sick, often trying to do things that I shouldn’t, but I also don’t really complain or tell people about it either. They mostly discover it when they ask why I take so many meds or about my medical checkups. (That I have once every three months).

Chifuyu

○ Chifuyu noticed your disability very quickly. He's not that stupid. Afterwards, he'd often ask how he can help and would often check in. If you're in lots of pain or upset, don't worry, you can pet Peke J! He always makes Chifuyu feel better so it's bound to work on you

○ He knows how hard it can be keeping track of so many medications, and if you'd let him, he'd decorate your pill bottles with special stickers to make it easier to tell them apart

Kakucho

○ As soon as he learns about your disability, he feels so much sympathy. He's gotta help you feel better and make you happy

○ If you get tired when out, he immediately offers to carry you til you get home or somewhere comfortable to rest. He's strong enough to hold you, and he doesn't mind♡

Souya

○ Despite how angry he looks on the outside, Souya is such a sweetheart. He's so caring and careful with your disability. He never wants to put you in pain or make you uncomfortable

○ He carries around your medication for you and anything you might need. Pain killers? He's got them. A heat patch? Got it. Drink? Already has it. He's very prepared and wants to make sure you're as happy as can be!

Mitsuya

○ Takashi is very understanding of disabilities. Some girls in his club have disabilities, so he's very prepared. He's very understanding if you just want some space or if you need help. He also knows if you're hiding your pain. He doesn't shame you, he just lets you know he's there if you need anything at all

○ He's very careful when you're over at his place, making sure to tell Mana and Luna to be careful around you. The last thing he needs is for you to be in any unnecessary pain. But the two are as gentle with you as Takashi is. Mana even offered you one of her dolls to hug when she sees you're in pain♡

Theo ( Theodore or Theostania ) Seuss Geisel is a bigender ex government scientist who faked his death and ran away because he couldn't stand to see how the inventions and research he had made to help people were being turned into a weapon.

Yukichi Fukuzawa!

○ Fukuzawa was always interested in those who have abilities, Theo just interested him in a different way

○ it started strictly platonic at first. He just simply wants to help her and give her a place to belong and feel safe after everything that's happened and give his ideas a safe place to thrive. That is until he fell for him

○ He would begin to offer help and hang around more, excusing it as he's just curious about her inventions and research, but it became painfully obvious when he started to randomly gift her flowers or compliment him at random. He's not the best with expressing love

○ When you finally give him a chance tho, he's more than happy. Tho this relationship comes with becoming the secondary parent to most of the ADA, I'm sure he'll survive in one way or another. Either way, Fukuzawa is such a loving partner. He's like an old cat♡

long story short winterguard is a sport that consists of long rehearsal hours to produce shows indoors and competes in competitions on the weekends, also VERY pricey at times (which is why I asked for koko lmfao) mentally draining at times but SO rewarding to get to perform on the floor with crowds cheering

○ He'd go to all your performances and make sure to support you in and out of shows. He comes to every event he's able to, even canceling or postponing toman meetings and fights to see you!

○ And if you don't win, he immediately glares down the winning team, telling you it was probably rigged, because who can be better than you? No one.

Kokonoi

○ He's had a lot more high school experience than most people he knows, so he knows a decent amount about winter guard and other sports and performances similar. What he didn't know was how expensive it could be.

○ He's definitely heard you rant about how expensive new equipment can be and how it's gonna drain all your savings. Oh, but you have a rich partner, so why not ask him? He loves flaunting his wealth and making you happy

○ He may go a little overboard. He does tons of research and buys all he thinks is best, even if you don't need it

○ And seeing you so happy while you perform with all the stuff he bought makes it all worth it, even if you don't win

Izana

○ Like Mikey, he doesn't exactly understand at first. It seems strange to him, but whatever makes you happy. The thing is, he attends with all the high-ranking members of Tenjiku to cheer you on, and seeing all those big scary guys definitely intimidates some people

○ If you don't win, you almost gotta hold him back from fighting the ones who won. How dare they take your place? Their performance was trash compared to yours

○ I think after a few performances, it eventually just turns into him inviting Kakucho and just trying to seem as supportive as possible.

○ When you lose, after he almost fights someone, he tells you how you'll win next time and takes you to get something to eat. Good food always fixes everything

Chifuyu

○ Chifuyu gets so ecstasy when hearing you're in winter guard. He's seen videos before and it looks so majestic! The music, the uniforms, the performance, it was all so cool!!

○ He begs to attend all your performances, skipping some Toman meetings just to see your shows.

○ It's gotten to the point he's made his own shirt with your name on it to wear to your performances to cheer you on!

○ Chifuyu is definitely the most enthusiastic, bragging to Baji about how cool your shows are and how talented you are. He really admires you

Maki Zenin!
