How to practice mediation for anxiety and overthinking
Mediation is a mental exercise practiced by focusing on a sound, breath, visualization, or object. It is an exercise for mindfulness that is scientifically proven to help with anxiety and overthinking.
Benefits of mediation
Meditation is scientifically proven to bring down stress levels by facilitating a state of tranquility. It initiates new connections in the brain which help us cope with stress better. These are benefits experienced by those who practice meditation for at least 20 mins a day -
Helps in gaining perspective
Increases self-awareness
Increases positivity
Increases patience and tolerance
Enhances imagination and creativity
How to get started with it –
These are the simple steps you can follow as a beginner –
Choose a comfortable place and sit upright.
Take some deep breaths.
Gently close your eyes.
Feel your body in your mind and notice the sensations, both physical and mental.
Stop your thoughts when they are wandering off and bring back your attention to your breathing,
Alternatively, you can use some peaceful music for concentration. Zen music has been proven to help with concentration while meditating.

Open your eyes when you feel like it. You can also set up a timer, but it might prove distractive in the middle of your concentration.

5 habits you should build if you have anxiety
Anxiety- any feeling of unease like worry or fear about what is to come. It is the body’s response to stress. Many of us feel this unpleasant sensation quite often. Sometimes it can be really overwhelming and we don’t know how to deal with it. 
So here are 5 habits that help cope with anxiety-
Practice deep breathing - It is scientifically proven that practicing deep breathing every day for 20-30 mins helps with anxiety and stress. Deep breathing increases the oxygen supply to the brain which in return stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system, which promotes a state of calmness
Share feelings with loved ones - Anxiety often stems from our fears about certain situations and conditions in our life. Sharing these fears and worries with a loved one helps us get perspective about our situation as well as support that is needed to cope with it. So instead of fighting this emotion on the inside, we must let it out.
Spend time in nature - Our worries and fears sometimes become so heavy that we forget to enjoy the smallest joys which can be found all around us like a beautiful sunrise, birds chirping on the roof, or a rainbow after. Nature sounds are scientifically proven to bring down cortisol levels which is a stress hormone.
Listening to nature music has also proven to have similar effects to spending time in nature. Like in this video -

Practice gratitude- Practising gratitude every day helps rewire our brains to think positively. We must write down at least three things for which we are grateful even if those things are as small as watching the sunrise.
Mediation and mindfulness - Meditation and mindfulness help us enter a calm state and gain perspective. We can understand our fears and emotions in a better way, which means we can deal better with those emotions.

How to increase focus while studying/working
It is very often to find ourselves wondering away while studying or working. This can become really frustrating sometimes because we end up spending much more time on a single time than necessary. It is because we do not perform the task with a relaxed mind. 
So, here are some trips to calm your mind and increase focus while studying -
Always study at the same spot - By Setting up a separate spot for studying we train our brain to identify the particular spot with work. It can help as we sub-consciously enter into a ‘work mode’.
Remove distractions - We often find it difficult to go long hours without checking our mobiles and social media. Our brain actively looks for distractions. To cope with this, we must place our mobile phones or any other distractions farther from us. This also helps in training our brain to not for distractions.
Listen to soothing music while studying - Different form of music has proven to be helpful in promoting relaxation and increase focus. Some students listen to classical music while other listen to nature music such as ‘Rain sounds’ to increase focus.

Set up a study routine - We often struggle with lack of motivation to study. But the thing is that we cannot always feel motivated towards doing a certain task such as studying, we need discipline instead. To stay disciplined , we must set up a proper study routine for ourselves and stick to it. This way we develop a habit of studying and automatically train our brain to focus during those periods.
Practise meditation - Meditation is a powerful technique which helps us calm down . By practising meditation for at least 20 mins a day, we can significantly increase our concentration and focus. Moreover meditation can also promote faster learning.

Helpful method to stop worrying so much.
A quick exercise to curb overthinking
We are the generation of people who ho always tend to overthink every minor thing. Sometimes the feelings become so overwhelming and bring so much anxiety. That’s good why I want to share this small exercise and which helps me to stop overthinking and I think it can help you too!
Every time you can not stop thinking or worrying about something, sit down with a piece of paper and pen.
On the paper list down all the things which are bothering you.
On this list sort out the things that you can change and the things you can’t.
Decide an action plan to act on the things that you can change and start acting on it.
And simply try to let go of the things that you can’t change.
This is an exercise which definitely helps me see things clearly and promotes action taking.

We often find sounds of nature calming. Sounds like birds chirping help us soothe anxiety. Well now we know the scientific reason for why this happens

Researchers have discovered that nature sounds actually initiate new connections in the brain which take down body’s flight-or-fight response. When we are in flight-or-fight mode, stress hormones make it difficult to relax, by taking down flight-or-fight mode, stress hormone levels are brought down and we feel relaxed.
Studies show that when we listen ti artificial or man made noise, we tend to experience inward focused attention which includes worrying and forms if anxiety. In addition to that reaction time is slower and focus is not that good.
Meanwhile, when humans listen ti nature sounds, they experience deep focus and reaction time along with lower levels of anxiety and stress.
So this is your sign to listen nature sounds for relaxing and increasing focus!

Youtube is one of the most famous platforms for posting and watching videos and over recent years has also become source of livelihood or secondary income for many. Many of us would like to start our own youtube channel but won’t like to show up out face for one or another reason. So here are the ideas for making YouTube videos without showing up your face:
Tutorial Videos: Tutorial videos (especially relating to tech) won’t really require you to show up your face, instead just your computer screen. This may be an age of technology but still there are many who struggle with simple tasks like signing up to an app or fixing a technical problem on there devices. All you have to do is perform the task while recording the screen.
[For example I recently saw a video on YouTube which showed how you can transcribe an audio]
Using slideshows: You can make videos on YouTube using slideshows where you can explain a certain thing to audience. The upper hand about slideshows is that it can ne used in wide range of varieties.
[An example of such videos can be a homemade recipe for skin care ]
Educational Videos: Educational videos can be also made just by recording your screen. There are many youtuners who teach maths or science on there channels and have million subscribers. And most of them do it by showing just there screen.
