How To Draw Chibi

sHeyyy~ today, I will be sharing my process on how I draw Chibi. Emphasis on the my, this is my process. My process may not fit your taste but I still hope that I can help others.

Anyhow, I'm going to be using Clip Studio Paint and I'll be using a mouse. Yes, I always use a mouse on all of my artworks because it's the only way I can draw digitally. So, I hope I can help those who want to draw but only has a mouse.

Let us begin~

First, Line art. Use vector layer for the line art with the figure tool. By using a vector layer, you can disregard the perfect circle or sm because you can control the point of the line which make it a very convenient layer.

next, Anatomy. For me, I base my anatomy on a...

Yes, a necktie because it has that from small to big size shape on it. You can also use a droplet tho but I'm much comfortable with this one. You can base your anatomy on anything, let your imagination and creativity flow.

I then proceed to draw the body with the necktie as a base by using irregular rectangles and trapezoids for the legs and the arms.

outline it, still under vector layer.

Then, proceed to draw the eyes.

Use Symmetrical ruler in drawing the eyes. A symmetrical ruler lets you draw on one side and then, it will appear on the other side, saving you the trouble of doing it again.

Remember that they have big eyes.

Next, Expression.

I really find chibis adorable because of their expressions. I made mine a tsundere. Keep the nose small tho or not draw it at all, up to you.

I went ahead and drew the hair and the dress. Again, let your imagination flow with your creativity. (I don't think I have that creativity tho but eh)

TIP;

Go to line editor. You can control points, adjust line width, redraw line and redraw line width. Use redraw line width and go over your lines. In this way, you can thicken the lines of your choice and make your line art more pretty :)

Then, colour your artwork and then, walla~ Done. You can put as many details as you want or stay simple like mine, it's your choice ^^

How to draw bushes

This is my process. I hope it helps °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°

Oh, the program I used is Clip Studio Paint by the way ( ˵ ◐ ︿ ◐ ˵ )

I dont know if other programs have this kind of brush tho (╯•﹏•╰)

Shape the bush. The thickness doesn't have to be 31 tho, you can change it however you want ∩( ´∀` )∩

then, add the next color on top of the base like this ＼（゜э゜）／
