how would sirius and regulus react to someone hitting on their partner? Though I don't think anyone would dare to flirt with a black's partner (with a special emphasis on sirius) especially if they're engaged but let's just say they got too drunk and let their intrusive thoughts win 😃

Anyone who hits on someone they know is engaged deserves repercussions in general tbf. But Sirius is definitely the more likely to react loudly and intensely. Especially if he's had a few drinks, I can definitely see him spoiling for a fight. Let's hope there's someone to drag him away before he gets too involved and does something he'll really regret.

Regulus doesn't drink enough in public to let him make a spectacle of himself, And he is not one to dirty his hands with the blood of lesser beings. Like a true Slytherin Black, he will walk away and ensure his revenge is executed far more thoughtfully. The victim in question will remember the look of silent fury Regulus shot them when they wake up with a face covered in incurable boils.

I don't often re-share old fics of mine but I've just re-read Stars for the first time in years and thought I'd give it some extra love on here. It was one of my very first fics (and my only non-Black-centric one) and it still gives me the warm, fuzzy, devastated feels it did when I first wrote it.

Honestly I've always loved the idea than an Animagus form ages with the person (it makes sense in my mind) because it makes me imagine a teenage Padfoot in that gloriously leggy, gangly teenage puppy phase with tufty fur that doesn't sit flat yet, and a Prongs with only half-grown antlers. Both perfectly unmajestic.

If we're on the topic of Animagi, do you think they were younger animals when they first transformed or were they already in their adult forms? Does Slytherin Sirius have an animagus form and if yes, What is it?

Okay, LOGICALLY it would make sense if they matched their Animagus forms by age—like if Sirius became an Animagus at four or five that he’d be a puppy. Is it possible? I think so, but it might be hard to know because I doubt it’s very achievable under a certain age. By the time James, Peter, and Sirius achieve it, they’re 15/16 and nearly (if not already) adult-sized humans.

Peter’s human form and rat form seem to mirror each other, at least in the case that when he’s not eating as a rat, it appears that his human form has also lost weight. (It does make you wonder if Sirius needs to eat less as a dog than a human and maybe that’s how he survived on such a restricted diet? Presumably, Peter survived 12 years on a rat’s diet??)

I’m also a sucker for a 60-year-old Padfoot with white fur on his nose and around his eyes and moves a little slower.

As for Slytherin Sirius, I think he’s still a dog! In MY series, however, he’s not an Animagus but that’s only for plot reasons.
