So! This is pure headcanon under the concept of The Witch and The First Werewolf from Lumine.

Major spoilers for the webtoon ahead

So we all get the Kody and lumine vibes from that fairy tale, but this headcanon follows the concept of if it was even deeper. Say a reincarnation or descendant type deal. Both Kody and Lumine are abnormal when it comes to their abilities. There’s Lumine's physical appearance with stark white hair and different color eyes, his multiple forms, and the fact that as a child he seems stronger than most werewolves. Though that might have to do with his training with his papa.

As for Kody, he spent years with Bill as a spirit, and as such developed a type of magic that allowed an animalistic transformation. Aka the one magic we know the witch in the fairy tale was capable of. We also know that same magic is now illegal because when Aiden uses it the golden wolf points out that it’s “forbidden magic.” It’s also the one magic Kody can use without coughing up blood, as if he has an affinity for it. Which could be attributed to being a reincarnation, or the magic being a part of his family line. Hence Aiden using the same magic. (It could also just be attributed to how long he spent with Bill, but for the sake of hc shhhhhh)

Now the main thing I wanna talk about here is color.

We see two magics throughout this story. Blue and Green. Green magic is attributed to witches, and blue magic is attributed to weredogs and werewolves, as their bodies glow blue when they transform. The blue magic is a symbol not only of the first werewolves but the witch who casted the spell, the blue is THE WITCH’S magic. Weredogs have the same color because they are descendants of werewolves who were affected by that spell.

This is important if we’re going with the idea of Kody being a reincarnation or descendant of that witch.

This is the scene where Kody finally puts Bill to rest. All with his own power, his own magic. Camille confirms this.

But rather than the magic being green, it’s blue, and wraps around the body in the same way transformation magic does for weredogs and werewolves. Kind of interesting that Kody’s raw ability, no spells no nothing, shows up as blue rather than green. Especially since whenever he does use a spell it’s green.

Another thing to back up this idea: Lumine’s multiple transformations. When we first meet him Lumine is only capable of the small puppy form because his true wolf form has been locked away. Specifically it is imprisoned by blue glowing chains.

This happens twice in the story, where lumine’s magic gets locked away. And how he unlocks it is the same both times:

Kody.

When Lumine first unlocks his magic it’s when Kody calls his name during the run in with the witch traffickers. It’s only then that the chains break and Lumine has control over his transformations again.

Then again in Terranevo, lumine can’t access his magic during the whole run in with Kody’s mother. But when the golden wolf attacks Kody’s mother, Kody calls out “Stop.” And Lumine, as if following orders, can suddenly transform normally.

Interesting that a witch now associated with blue magic and animal transformations seems to be able to affect Lumine’s own magic.

We learn in the fairy tale that the werewolves could only transform because they were the witch’s familiars. If they decided to leave the witch and break the contract, they would lose the transformation too. Hence why the werewolves in the story decided to kill the witch.

it could be that the familiar contract from the fairy tale is still into effect. Or, that because of Lumine and Kody’s close bond, their magic sort of acts under an unofficial familiar contract.

This whole story has them promising to stay together and protect each other, so who knows, with two magical beings making that promise, it could act as an unofficial contract. All speculation here.

Even without the idea of reincarnation/descendants you could use that concept of an unofficial familiar contract as a reason why when Lumine can’t control his magic, Kody can give him the power to.

We know their bond is no joke, Kody was fully prepared to commit matricide until he got his boy back lmao

So my mother, whose equally obsessed with Teen Wolf, pointed this one out to me:

Can we talk about how strangely immune Stiles is to the Kanima paralytic? We know for sure that the paralytic completely takes everything out below the neck, and for an alpha werewolf like Derek, it took him at least two and a half hours to recover. We find this out when him and Stiles were in the pool together. Stiles, a human, recovers much faster. In the mechanic shop he was still able to move his fingers. Now, you could argue that was because he just absorbed it through his skin rather than it getting into his blood stream

However, in the police station Stiles does get it in his blood stream, and he still recovers faster than Derek. Derek had to trigger the healing process just for him to recover at the same rate as Stiles. I just think that’s interesting.

Y’know what? As a multishipper, I get it man. I get it. I understand why there are so many ships for Naruto. The boy has so much love in that little body of his that he’s practically sunshine incarnate. It would be a crime to deprive people of this lovely boy.

All deserving of the silly little fox boy. My boy Talk-No-Justus them out of evil ways or a mid-life crisis all the time, the least they can do it buy him flowers.

Early arc kakashi shatters me

So context here:

One of Kakashi’s comedic bits in the early seasons is that he always shows up late to class. Often times a full hour late.

Later in the show we find out he runs late because every single day he visits the grave of his old team.

It is a heart breaking reason but it gets worse. At one point while he’s standing at the grave, another teacher comes by to leave flowers and we get this conversation:

“And you Kakashi? Paying respects to Obito? Instead of constantly inventing new excuses for being late, why don’t you simply come here earlier?”

“I did. I’ve been here since dawn.”

During ep 5 Naruto sees the lunches Kakashi made sitting at the grave right next to the location Kakashi chose for the bell test. This means Kakashi chose that spot in order to be close to a grave and make it a short walk for him. But that also means that even though he would be nearby the grave, he still couldn’t pull himself away. I wouldn’t be surprised if he heard his students arrive, and despite that he still couldn’t swallow down his guilt and leave the grave.

Shadow has Sonic as his phone wallpaper. Whenever he’s feeling discouraged or tired he looks at the wallpaper and reminds himself that if he can handle the psycho that is Sonic, he can handle anything.

So we all knew there were going to be parallels between Shadow and Sonic. The two are the antithesis to each other, character foils if you will. So of course we got Sonic and Tom vs Shadow and Maria with those similar pep talks and falling into revenge once their token human got hurt.

But we also got a surprising amount of Sonic and Maria parallels.

Colorscheme wise there’s a similarity given sonic’s main blue body and maria’s blue dress. Sonic at one point even goes blonde thanks to the chaos emerald, and the electricity type power behind his speed gives him blue eyes. We see this when he challenges Knuckles.

In the movie, there’s a large emphasis put on Shadow holding Maria’s hand, it’s the thing we see most in the flashbacks. And then whaddya know? We see him and Sonic hold hands in the final battle, and taking Sonic’s hand means accepting Maria’s ideals again.

There was also the fact that both of them took a near fatal (or in Maria’s case very fatal) blow from shadow’s chaos energy. As a bonus, when Sonic was in the old abandoned lab, he places his hand on the glass tube shadow used to be held in the same way Maria had.

Sonic is such a disaster bisexual I love him. Bro’s type is just people who can put him six feet in the ground. I mean c’mon both Amy and Shadow have those power inhibitor bracelets, they could kill that little blue bubblegum cutie. Even the Sonic and Knuckles shippers can get in on this idea.

Sonic sees Amy for the first time and it’s an immediate “Oh she’s preeeeettttyyyy.”

Meanwhile Sonic finds out he likes Shadow and it's just "Huh… that's new. Should've known after watching John Wick."

(On the other hand Shadow finds out he likes Sonic and it's just "Oh no. God damnit—- WHY!?!? HIM??!? SERIOUSLY!?")

Merry Christmas everyone!! In honor of the holidays, here is one of my more extensive headcanons about the Sonic 3 Movie. SPOILERS ahead so be warned! 🎄

At the end of the Sonic three movie, Shadow gets nerfed to hell and dies in an explosion. Except we never see his death on screen and we know the movie is based on Sonic Adventure 2 and Shadow the Hedgehog. In those games Shadow managed to eject himself from the ARK and escape alive. However he suffers from amnesia and now has a fragmented memory. He can only remember his name and Maria’s death. So you know I’m about to write some angsty hc off of this.

Shadow would wander around aimlessly, trying to find remnants of who he was and what his life was before he lost his memory. The problem is that there’s barely anything left. Even if he manages to return to the site of the lab, he had set off the mini black hole in there. Any evidence of what happened, any evidence of Maria, was destroyed in that blast.

The only person who would know about Maria and what Shadow did afterward would be sonic. Sonic was in that lab, he heard the story and saw what happened. He was also the one to spend the most time with Shadow and hear about his pain and loss before teaming up.

Except I have a few ideas regarding this. What if something did survive the explosion of the black hole? The picture of Shadow and Maria. While exploring the lab Sonic found Maria’s room and saw the fort and picture. It was a family portrait, and to him it felt too special, too important, to be left behind in an abandoned lab. It reminded him of the drawing he made of him and Longclaw in the cave. It was all he had left of a family member he lost… just like Shadow. So what if he took the photo with him? Sonic intended to give the photo back to Shadow after they made up, but never got the chance. So now he keeps it as a way to honor and remember both Shadow and Maria.

Now keeping Shadow’s most likely survival in mind, what if after Sonic and Shadow see eachother again, Sonic shows him the photo to convince Shadow to at least hear him out. It leads into Sonic getting slammed into a wall by a very paranoid personification of Hot Topic who demands answers. I think even after hearing the story, Shadow would be confused and apprehensive. So Sonic hands him the photo and tells him that he knows what it’s like to be lost, and that Shadow has a friend if he needs it.

With the amnesia, Shadow would have almost a constant source of anger and guilt and sadness for things he doesn’t even remember. It drives him crazy that he feels so much and doesn’t even know why. When Shadow gets too caught up in his own head, Sonic asks him to tell him about Maria. It’s the one thing he can reliably talk about and it’s some of the only good memories he has.

Shadow chooses to trust Sonic not just because of Maria’s photo or the kind words, but because he can feel that Sonic is a good person. Sitting on that moon with Sonic and watching the stars was the beginning of closure and resolution to all of Shadow’s pain and trauma. And then immediately after that he shared the power of the chaos emerald in harmony with Sonic. That connection remains to be something familiar. However, in a way, that feeling of comfortability and kindness is foreign. He hadn’t felt that since Maria and look how that turned out. Part of it scares Shadow and he doesn’t know how to handle not being constantly alert.

Even if Shadow does permanently join up with the team I don’t see him living with them. He doesn’t have that family dynamic with Tom and Maddie like the others, and I’m not sure he wants to yet. Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles had lost their families a while before they met Tom and Maddie, they had time to grieve and find that desire to want and accept a family again. Shadow doesn’t have that, not yet. With that being said, there isn’t really anywhere else for him to go, both the lab and the ship were destroyed.

So what if he lives in Sonic’s old home? Just until they can find somewhere better for him. It’s secluded and private but not so far away that they wouldn’t be able to go see him. Shadow doesn’t have anywhere else to go so why not. Sonic decks it out for him and even finds a picture frame for Maria’s photo.

Okay so according to some twitter takeovers, Shadow listens to Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter. In which, solid taste my dude. But if he listens to those two, Sonic listens to Chapell Roan without a doubt. You can't tell me he wouldn't be ‘straight’ vibing to HOT TO GO.

bonus: Tails totally listens to The Living Tombstone, Knuckles listens to Tupac (cliche? Maybe. But a classic that deserves respect), Rogue listens to Kesha, and Amy is belting her heart out to Waitress the musical.

Silver listens to imagine dragons??? Opinions??

DEAD DOVE CONCEPT

Hi, so I have never posted before and I'm trying to figure it out. As a test, here is a short scene I wrote. It has some gore so be warned guys.

“I’m curious.”

“About what?”

“Self destruction through harm to the mind rather than the body. We have this thing where it seems we can draw pleasure from any source.”

“But it’s not really pleasure is it?”

“No, it’s not. It is a temporary relief for people who believe there remains no other option. An extreme solution to an incomprehensible situation.”

“Why are you so curious about it?”

“Because we still take delight in it. Degradation, dehumanization, and disturbing imagery of all kinds. We are inclined to it. The skin of a body shredded, a human eye on an inhuman painting, it is horrifying but we do not look away.”

“Because humans love intoxication, right?”

“Intoxication. Interesting phrasing but I don’t think you’re too far off. Humans take drugs to experience a lack of control and usually dangerous tendencies. Harm becomes comfort. So maybe our fascination with the depraved and graphic is part of that.”

“What a curious take, what do you mean?”

“I think some people like to feel as though their mental state has been deteriorated. Like they cannot control their own actions and that in turn allows them to indulge in the darkest fantasies deemed immoral and unethical. In a weird way it’s like Jeckle and Hyde.”

“He used a potion to change his physical body in order to pursue his desires, most of which involved murder. So you’re suggesting a fascination with that kind of imagery and mental state is a way for people to take pleasure from it?”

“Exactly.”

“And what makes you so sure?”

“Because you have asked nothing but questions.”

“What?”

“Every time you’ve responded it’s ended in a question.”

“And this proves your idea how?”

“… No reason in particular.”

A fascination in the horrifying. Perhaps he had proved himself part of that theory with this very conversation. A trade of questions and answers that egged him on further in his discussion of the horrifying. Because there was no one replying, just a corpse. One he had ripped the jaw off of himself.

“Perhaps I was just being needlessly philosophical.”

“….”

“Another question huh? I think I’ll leave that one unanswered.”
