i don’t really see a lot of cod x reader fics where the reader is a soldier and idk but i just think that there is a lot of potential! (these r just some scrambled up thoughts.)

thinking about a female soldier reader who knows her shit and proves herself to be a lot stronger than the male colleagues around her - even if she may be at a physical disadvantage.

thinking about how fucking hard it must be to simply exist as a female soldier in that shitty military system. you would notice on your first day as a recruit that it's not made for you and your environment full of male alpha wannabes certainly didn't shy away from reminding you of that either. whether it was by not taking you seriously, sexualizing you, or some other stupid shit.

but that didn't stop you. whatever your fucked up reasons were for ending up in this hell hole, you were here now and it would definitely take more than a few assholes to scare you away. you were aware that you couldn’t keep up in many areas when it came to pure muscle strength, but you learned a few tricks to use your stature to your advantage. you obviously couldn’t overpower anyone superior in strength but you would survive. close combat or hand-to-hand combat were never your strong suit, you were better at using weapons.

after completing the recruit level and being officially deployed to the field, each soldier would start to notice how to make use of their strengths and weaknesses - either that or they died. your captain at the time noticed how good your aim was and it didn't take you long to figure out which position you were best at - sniper.

let's just say a lot happened here and there - you built a name for yourself as one of the best blah blah blah - and fast forward a few years after that. task force 141 is tasked with a mission, laswell thinks you're a good addition to the team's existing capabilities, and the rest....now that's up for grabs.
