I've been waiting for something like this for years, the amount of disturbing content on YT only grows day by day and that fucked up platform allowed children as young as 13 to roam free, most likely unsupervised, having free access to everything from true crime stories to straight up weird fetish shit.

I've always thought it was criminal and finally someone knocked some sense on them. This seems like one step closer from the end of the baby-proofing of the internet as a whole

The feeling of community I have experienced here has no comparison. People here be bonding over blorbos and a worrisome taste for unholy things but also over random pics of childhood toys and coffee cups and pixel art and poorly drawn comic strips and it's just the most magical connection I've experienced aside from my husband and besties.

And yes! 90% of it has reached to me in the form of a humble text post that's not even fancily formatted

I feel like normies think of tumblr as the fanart and aesthetic and gifset website but real tumblrinas know that our most culturally significant output and our lifeblood is the humble text post
