Have some Smash Bros buttons in progress for Saboten Con, in two weeks. ^^ . Hoping to get all 33 out by the event, but that's gonna be rough, so starting with Gen One and working my way up. Gotta respect the classics. I've had this series in my head for quite awhile now and really want to give them all a nice rugged effect. Still tweaking on Mario, but I think he's come out pretty nice. AND I'M DONE!! I'm done, I'm done, I'm done, I'm done, I'm done! -^-^- To be honest, replacing the Left was a dream, it was basic and fun. The Right, though... It's a trend that the Right transparent Basstop Joycon Shells are defective. ...And mine was indeed defective, in a few ways, not just one. So it was a bit nightmarish to get the Right all out working correctly, but it is what it is. I'll talk about how I fixed the errors more later. Nonetheless, this project was enjoyable and rewarding, and my Joycons are beautiful. I am very happy. So I've spent the last couple days working on this new Flexbox layout for my webstore. The current one is based heavily on the kit theme provided with the shop, I was super rushed when getting it out and it's not very mobile friendly at all, so it's driving me nuts. I finally have a little time before Fall kicks back in, let's have some fun. . Is Flexbox still a thing, or is this a sign that my experience is a little ancient and outdated? I know its browser support is finally in synch, but I still feel out of the loop. I admittedly haven't been apart of the web design community in awhile, been so busy with work and school, so honestly feel super behind. If there's a better format I should be using supported by HTML & CSS (limited to what the platform supports), please throw me some tips so I can polish my knowledge! Appreciate it, thanks! . Somehow my birthday hit me with a strange reality that I kinda miss a lot of this stuff. I'd love to get back into it. I guess 4 years of doing things differently can do that to you. The Kirby Chopsticks that I got at the Kirby Cafe at Skytree Mall in Tokyo! ^-^ Unfortunately the actual Cafe was closed for renovations when we arrived and wouldn't be open again until after we had already returned to the States, but luckily the shop was still open. Gosh, it was amazingly adorable and everyone there was so nice. Definitely wanna go again some time when it's open. . Anywho, anyone who really knows me knows that I like chopsticks. It might sound silly, but they're small, lightweight, cute and useful. Perfect! I got 11 pairs while in Japan; 3 Splatoon, 3 Kirby and 5 Pokemon. I also got one Mew and two Pikachu chopstick Rests. I wanted to get a pair at Ghibli Museum too, but I already have 3 Ghibli sets at home and they only had one pair that was a bit pricey, so maybe next time! Well, I've put off opening them for quite long enough. The Splatoon 2 Chopsticks that I got in Japan!! ^-^ The bag says Kiddy Land, but I swear I got them from a Sanrio Store. I'll see if I can find the coordinates later and update this. Nonetheless, actual Splatoon Chopsticks were something I hadn't even imagined actually finding. I gasped pretty loud and immediately had to get them, no doubts.
