Inktober 2019 - Haunted Abodes - Day 2 - Urban

The cliche of ghosts walking through walls is an example of a residual haunt.

A residual haunt, also known as a psychic impression, occurs when a spirit leaves a piece of their essence stuck in a singular moment while the rest of their soul moves on. They stay in the same spot, repeat the same actions, and don't notice when the architecture around them changes.

Hence the wall-walking.

And so begins Inktober 2019 'Haunted Abodes'.

This Inktober, I wanted to challenge myself in two ways: working in guache, a medium I've never tried before, and brushing up on my architecture and scenery. 'Haunted Abodes' is the name of my theme, and will explore different ways in which a home, structure, or place can be haunted.
