An older painting I did inspired for religious psychosis and religious trauma. Like most people i got a lot of truama with religion but recently made my peace and got my love for it back, although my beliefs are different now because I like to believe there is truth in all religions but also metaphors that shouldn't be taken literally or at face value and perspectives to always look at and changes that should always be considered and made, and basic respect with boundaries.

At the time i painted this i was also seeing a lot of people experiencing religious psychosis and it just seemed so scary, especially because they weren't shown a lot of empathy and honestly most the time I could understand that because it is difficult to be on the other end of it but sometimes people can joke to a harmful amount with a serious situation. I have no one to yap with this about, so I'm just putting my thoughts here :^

A past painting i did not too long ago, It's a parent playing with the baby they didn't have a full life with. Whale young are often attacked and killed, their parents mourning always hurts my heart a little and makes me think of a parent being forced to bury their child
