not to be dramatic or whatever but it genuinely saddens me that people look at eddie, one of the most loving and caring characters on the show. he's fun he's funny he's insane. he loves dancing around in his tighty whities and memorizes movie dance routines and doesn't believe in curses or being jinxed or the universe. he loves his kid like crazy and would happily lay his life for him. and he'd live for him. and did live for him. he facetimes with his bestie when he's feeling sad or happy or just to spend time with him. he uses facebook and remembers people's birthdays and has coffee mornings with hen and karen and heart to hearts with bobby and likes to rile chimney up. he loves and loves and loves and doesn't wait to be loved in response. and blushed when he's flirted with by hot priests. and just blushes generally. he's a competent medic and has survivors guilt and never thinks he's good enough. but he is. he is. he's his abuela's favorite and hangs out with his tía. he's so so good. and yet people look at him. and see... an abuser

I think he’s right. I just had - well I guess it’s a confessional so I’ll tell you. I just had a really messy breakup, my fault, and my therapist suggested I try new things. Reality TV is obviously new. God why do I feel like I need to ask what my penance is?”

My thoughts:

Love it love it love it. This fanfic has two of my favorite shows 911 and Love Island. Eddie and Buck are so in love that it is hilariously infuriating, but you will root for them no matter what. They are the best couple next to Maria and Maya, of course. There is feelings, there is challenges, there is character development, there is a little bit of angst, and there is absolutely perfection. The confessionals add so much insight to the fanfic, and all the tweets are absolutely hilarious. Definitely will reread when feeling like I need love and laugh.

i think one of the most irritating and honestly disrespectful things “sam fans” will say about “the divorce” (🤢) is, “sam is just being silly! he thinks it’s a jokey joke and bucky is on the couch”, like the lackadaisical misunderstanding of sam’s character and bucky’s, “it went poorly” is wild

a black character is named as Captain America and given the task of reassembling the avengers all for his best friend and former partner to silently align himself with this rag tag team run by CIA and working alongside the fraudulent captain who literally tried to decapitate him with his own shield

so sam is probably rightfully pissed off and these “fans” watch a black character they claim to care about be undermined and disrespected by the canon after AN ENTIRE SHOW where he had to fight for the right to be cap again, and y’all just said, “he’s just being silly! he’s not mad at bucky!” like girl fuck you, because i’m mad at bucky and so is sam

I was watching some BNW scenes today purely for educational purposes of course and I just. I love Sam so much. he's. he's compassionate and kind and funny and intelligent and SO BADASS and affectionate with his loved ones and he never lets anyone he loves think that he doesn't love them even though he's always on the banter and teasing and I just...he's so warm and wonderful and quick and clever and so fucking skilled and powerful and I love him and want to make every fear and grief and heartache he's ever had to face go away

Eddie dated 2 women in 5 years and he is somehow a good enough boyfriend until crazy circumstances arise that both of them wanted to stay after some shitty stuff happened but sure, he's terrorizing all the women. Why are we still pushing this narrative when this man was put on a situation that would make the most stable person end up in a psych hold? He dated 2 women after Shannon. TWO. How is that terrorizing women???????????
