Sigh. I remember after DD s2 when it was "kastle shippers who think there's anything between Frank and Karen don't understand the character at all. His heart died with his family. He can never have romantic feelings for another woman after Maria"...

And yet, here we are 3 shows and 9 years later and Frank Castle canonically has romantic feelings for Karen Page. LOL

What's so difficult to understand about the fact that mcu/netflix Frank is a different iteration of the character and so doesn't necessarily have to have the same fate as his comicbook version?

No one's expecting Frank and Karen to ride off into the sunset or relocate to the countryside to live on a farm. But if you don't see how Karen was framed as a possible potential "after" for Frank, then maybe you weren't paying attention.

Frank is older, weaker, using pills for his pain and for the first time in Frank Castle history, he's fallen hard for someone after Maria (please don't mention him & Elektra in the comics, it was hot but not the same or close). Everything about him having romantic feelings for someone post tragedy is new. It's never happened before with any other version of Frank, comics or screen. There's no benchmark to hold it to. So quite literally, anything could happen. It just depends on what the show runner decides to do. The character has to be retired at some point and they're not killing him off. He can't remain static forever, that works for comicbooks, not for tv. There's also only so many times they can have him reject Karen and choose war over her. Been there, done that. Next.

Does all this mean they'll definitely end up together? No. But it means that it's a very real possibility for the first time ever for a version of Frank (if the writers are bold enough to take on something so complex and challenging as opposed to going the safer simpler route, and if they'll be given the time to do so; a kastle endgame would require more seasons). And kastle fans aren't wrong or misunderstanding Frank's character by wanting or hoping he and Karen do end up together somehow in the frigging mcu.

Fear Her is one of my favorite episodes! The funny bits are so funny, and maybe I'm a dork but I always tear up when the Doctor picks up the Olympic Torch. L&M is a decent episode imo, never really understood why all the hate. I think it's charming.

Now I shall utter such blasphemy that I run the risk of excommunication - I hate The Girl in the Fireplace. ~ducks~

As of the time of this post, AO3 has been scraped by yet another shady individual looking to make a quick buck off the backs of hardworking hobby writers. This Reddit post here has all the details and the most current information. In short, if your fic URL ends in a number between 1 and 63,200,000 (inclusive), AND is not archive locked, your fic has been scraped and added to this database.

I have been trying to hold off on archive locking my fics for as long as possible, and I've managed to get by unscathed up to now. Unfortunately, my luck has run out and I am archive locking all of my current and future stories. I'm sorry to my lovelies who read and comment without an account; I love you all. But I have to do what is best for me and my work. Thank you for your understanding.

Will someone please give me actionable advice on what to get caught up on to watch Daredevil Born Again? All the articles are like. Watch these 8 shows of 2 to 3 seasons each, plus a couple of movies! Like jfc I don't have the time or attention span. I've seen S2 of DD and part of S1, and both seasons of The Punisher. Do I really need The Defenders, Luje Cage, Jessica Jones, Hawkeye, and Echo? I cannot. Please help.
