I’m taking this as Harukawa’s plea for more singers AU and florist/tattoo artist AU, and let’s be real: how could we possibly refuse?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I’m definitely adding these to my fic, and if that means giving Chuuya a back tattoo and some piercings, so be it.

Ayo! Show me what that "time travel" got! I love that genre sm
pretty please
Anything for you, Mavis! Hopefully, you’ll like the prompt
Okay, so here’s the setup for this fanfic.
It starts with your classic “some mysterious ability sends you back in time” scenario, right? But instead of just landing in one specific moment, 22-year-old Dazai and Chuuya keep getting thrown back to all the major events of their past. Not just the big fights or missions either, I’m talking super personal stuff. Some moments are so deep that even the other one doesn’t know they happened. Like, imagine being stuck watching your partner’s worst day and you had no idea it ever happened.
They can’t interact with their younger selves. It’s like the ability just won’t let them mess up the timeline whatsoever. So they’re basically stuck as observers, hidden from their younger selves sight, bouncing around their own memories without any control. Just watching everything unfold, good memories, bad ones, heartbreaking ones. And there’s no sign of it stopping. They have no idea when the ability will stop, especially since they’ve already hit the point where they’re 22. That’s supposed to be their present.
Then suddenly, bam, they’re face to face with their 24-year-old selves.
They’ve been so careful not to mess with the timeline and now they’re literally standing in front of themselves, two years older. But instead of everything falling apart, the older versions are like, “Yeah, the ability won’t show you how we got to the point we are now, that’s why you’re not seeing your 23 year old versions. The Agency eventually got us out of it, though, so just sit around and wait.”
And just when 22-year-old Dazai and Chuuya are starting to process that, the real twist happens. They find out where their 24-year-old selves live. And more importantly who they live with.

for the wip ask, a fool’s guide to pretending! gimme that sskk <3 your page is so cozy by the way, thank you for the tag!
Just like Heartstrings and Headlines, we have a fic for another pair. This time it’s SSKK, set halfway through Behind the Scenes of Meoto Zenzai, starting from October onwards, with mentions of what happened during the film’s production. (Heartstrings and Headlines is set more around the midpoint of Fool’s Guide to Pretending)
Atsushi and Akutagawa have secretly been friends for a long time without realizing it. They met online using pseudonyms, and since both are famous, they were relieved that for once neither of them was pushing to find out the other’s real identity.
During the production of Meoto Zenzai, Akutagawa finds out that “Weretiger,” the pseudonym of his friend, is actually Atsushi. There was already tension between them because of Atsushi’s close relationship with Dazai, but this discovery throws Akutagawa off completely. Unsure how to react, he either lashes out or starts ignoring Atsushi altogether.
By October, Lucy, Atsushi’s ex, is dragging him to a Halloween party. They had broken up in April after mutually realizing they were better off as best friends. The party is to celebrate his return to Formula 1 for another season, after he took a year-long break to work on the movie.
And of course, Akutagawa is there too, thanks to Gin dragging him along. One thing leads to another, and Atsushi and Akutagawa end up in a very public fight.
Now, thanks to a PR agreement, they are being forced to pretend to be best friends in front of everyone. But young celebrities have a tendency to do foolish things, especially when they are both used to partying hard.
Will they manage to pull it off, or will they end up at each other’s throats? Or maybe there is a secret third option waiting for them. Who’s to say? (Well, I know. But I’m not telling.)
I appreciate you saying my page is cozy, that’s such a nice compliment. And no need to thank me, I love sharing talented writers with the world! By the way, I still don’t know if this will be the title. It’s a work in progress, after all!

Decisions Decisions, I choose anderperry cuz my boys deserve attention. And obviously meoteo zenzai yap it out boy hv time of ur life w em
As if I don’t talk about every fanfic with you beforehand.
Well, Estranged Infatuation is obviously still a work in progress. I really appreciate everyone’s support, especially since many of you are patiently waiting for Chapter 3 (I’m so sorry, it’s my last year of high school, so please bear with me). That said, I can share that the next chapter will include the introduction of Mr. Keating and some deep, late-night conversations between Anderperry. It might even feature the announcement of Neil’s mom being pregnant, since Wilson has a brother and we’re making him come into the world this way. I can’t wait to write about Hilson as well. It’s going to be challenging to keep it as close to canon as possible, but I’ll make it happen one way or another.
As for Behind the Scenes of Meoto Zenzai, I can’t even begin to explain how much work and effort I’m pouring into this fic. I’ve created 10 albums with their respective covers for each singer, written the script for the movie itself, and made about five boards full of references, including the outfits for every character. I’m genuinely in love with this fic. I’m sorry it’s taking me so long to write Chapter 2, but again, it’s my last year of high school in the Italian school system, and let me tell you, it’s rough. That said, would it be okay if I published Chuuya’s part first and then added Dazai’s later? That way, I can actually publish it without making you all wait three years for just one chapter while keeping the same concept I’ve been using.
All in all, I appreciate everyone who’s sticking around. I’ll try my best not to make you regret your decision, and hopefully, you’ll love these fics as much as I do, especially since they’re my first ones!

"baby hotline" for the little wip ask game cause I love ADA!chuuya (and ty for the tag <3!!!)
This story is essentially a one-shot. Chuuya receives a call from a mysterious number, someone who shares eerily precise details about his past. The accuracy of the information forces him to accept that this isn’t a prank and that someone is clearly trying to send him a message.
Naturally, he begins to investigate. He gets help mainly from Kunikida and Ranpo. Dazai, for some reason, is almost never around when the calls happen. At first, Chuuya suspects him, after all, Dazai loves to piss him off immensely. But it is also true that Dazai is notoriously known for skipping work whenever he can. Chuuya still wonders how he managed to shift so drastically from his time in the Port Mafia to this more laid-back version of himself.
The calls lead Chuuya to various places, where he finds objects and clues tied to his past. Each discovery leads him to another destination. He is getting increasingly fed up with the endless trail of cryptic errands, especially since it might all be a stupid prank from someone in the Port Mafia or worse, from Dazai, like he originally suspected.
In the end, however, Chuuya comes face to face with the culprit, who presents him with a very strange proposition, if it can even be called that.
No need to thank me, I love sharing talented writers! The title actually comes from this song, and the case is a bit inspired by The Sign of Four and A Study in Scarlet by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. At first, I didn’t even realize it, but once I did, it became such a useful reference. Although I still suck at writing fluff because it’s so hard!

hiii!! Heartstrings and Headlines for the wip ask game? 👀
So, a bit of context: in my fic Behind the Scenes of Meoto Zenzai, we see, in the background of SKK’s shenanigans, various characters living their own lives as celebrities. I decided to structure it more like a series, so I can write about different pairings as well.
In this particular one, we focus on Gin. Things kick off when she ends up in a bit of a scandal. Some tabloid articles start circulating with headlines like: “Singer-songwriter Gin and actor Ryunosuke Akutagawa: Are They a Couple?”
They never officially announced that they’re actually siblings, because they thought it was obvious since they look really similar, but clearly, it wasn’t. Gin gets fed up with all the speculation and, late one night, she tweets something along the lines of: “He is my brother, dimwits. I already have a complicated relationship with two people. Call it a situationship if you will.” Then she just goes to sleep.
The internet explodes the next day. Everyone’s trying to figure out who the two mystery people are (spoiler: it’s Tachihara and Higuchi). The story goes on from there, with Gin eventually having to tell both of them to get their act together.
And by the end? Well, she might end up with someone. (OR WILL SHE?)
The title is not official; it’s a WIP, so please bear with me.

Welcome to my corner of the internet, enjoy your stay!
Hello there! by Obi-Wan Kenobi
Everyone calls me J, so you guys might as well.
I’m 18 and mildly feral in the way only a high school senior surviving the Italian school system can be.
Things I like (as in obsess over):
• Chaotic fiction and the sad little characters inside it — think Bungou Stray Dogs, The Apothecary Diaries, Dead Poets Society, House MD, Star Wars, Doctor Who, Good Omens, South Park, It, and MANY. MANY. MORE.
• Playlists. They will appear. A lot of them. Including this one which is soukoku-coded (with explanation) and this one that’s giving villain arc not gonna lie.
• Formula One, as an Italian boy, I have to be a tifoso. As a matter of fact I suffer for that red car every Sunday.
Small facts about me:
• You’ll catch me saying “just one more episode” (or chapter) with the confidence of a liar daily.
• Scientists are baffled by my ability to fuck up every time.
• I am the type to stare at art until I think “I could do that” and then not doing that. (Okay, I do try. You’ll find a few fanarts on here.)
This far if you think my introduction is bad, you should see some of my life choices. After all I am a professional lurker turned part-time poster.
Other things about me:
I HAVE AN AO3 ACCOUNT AND I WRITE (badly). CURRENTLY WORKING ON:
• Behind the Scenes of Meoto Zenzai — a soukoku fic (trailer)
• Estranged Infatuation — an andperry/hilson fic (trailer)
I’m actively participating in the 2025 soukoku mixtape exchange and YES something is coming your way between July 6 and July 19.
Expect: rambling, slow fic updates (blame exams not me), art attempts, thoughts and head canons about stuff, and the occasional existential crisis.
Some of my favourite unrelated posts:
• The Flags & Duo Nicknames Headcanon.
• Moles Headcanon (Platonic Odazai, Odango & Soukoku).
• Soukoku: They Are Not Casual.
• Under-appreciated Duo — Kunikida & Dazai.
Find me elsewhere (if you truly have nothing better to do with your day):
AO3: for the fics.
TikTok: for whatever that is.
If you want to know something or just want someone to talk to my inbox is always open, I’m friendly I swear but if I reply late it’s probably because I’m sleeping.

i mean this in the least rude way possible!!
when are we getting a new chapter of estranged infatuation? i know the chapters are very long and take a long time to write but so far, i'm in absolute awe of the book and exploding in anticipation
of course you should take your time with anything, but i was curious
- with love, anonymous
I know I’m super late, it’s been what, a month or two? Unfortunately, this was my last year of high school, so I’ve been (and still am) under an enormous amount of stress with so much to study. But school’s over now, and I only have finals left. So tell you what, I’m getting that chapter out next week, one way or another!
Also, I really appreciate the support. It seriously makes me want to cry :(

I do! It’s @multjverse, I pretty much use that username everywhere, honestly. Thanks for pointing it out; I should probably make a proper intro post then haha

Tumblr media
The first emotion he felt was a profound sense of hollowness. As though something had been carved out of nothing. Then, a gnawing feeling in the centre of where his chest should be.
When the boy first opened his eyes, that endless void greeted him. When he looked down… which way was down? The darkness stretched in every direction. The first step into the unknown was uncertain, but he felt firm ground that supported him, despite the void beneath. A glint of silver shone in the darkness, and he held it in his hand. A knife. Somewhat shapeless, its jagged edges uncertain and fluid. As if instinctively, he swung it. The void ripped, a tear in the fabric. Outside was the sky.
The next step was a painful one. The warmth comes far too quickly and far too invasive, and the fall makes him dizzy. The stars blur together with the ether, and he knows he is falling, yet he only goes up. Then, perfect stillness. Caught within a nebula, he opens his eyes once more. A strange new place. Suspended in the blue and green cloud, Dazai sees the world clearly for the first time. His eyes screw shut tightly, the light hurting his eyes. The gnawing emptiness has become a singular feeling. Numbness. This, he could bear.
Chuuya has been burning for as long as he could remember. The searing sensation comes from within, rather than only being on his skin. Yet the boy peacefully slumbers in this dying inferno. It will grow colder over the years, a slow heat death. Slow enough to span across several centuries. But in this state of suspended chaos, decades fly past quickly. At any rate, the fiery haired boy never had a concept of time. At one point of time, this chaos used to be uncontrollable, reaching into the furthest corners of the galaxy he's started to call his. After all, even after the biggest collapse this part of the void had seen—that supernova years ago—he still burned brighter than anything else there. The brightest star in this constellation. A tiny man with a telescope on some distant planet would name this the constellation of the Sheep. Once connected, the stars resembled the head of a lamb, which led it to be named as such. At it's centre, twinkled it's brightest neutron star.
For the briefest moment in the eternity humans call space, the boy whose hair shone like the dying sun, was at home.
The boy skips on the edge of another star, sending it spinning uncontrollably. It collides with another, creating a burst of heat so immense from the collision that Dazai could see the particles disintegrating. Electron symphony, the resultant explosion so bright he turned away. The heat that seemed to melt everything around him, that which split down every particle that happened to meet its fraying edges left him untouched. Dazai was cold. Fundamentally so. In a way that matter typically wasn't.
At a temperature of absolute zero, most matter comes to a complete still. In theory, atleast. Yet here he was. Heat death of the universe spun into one creature. But our god is a god of absurdities. The heat never seeped in. He felt it, of course he did, but it was much like a dull, vaguely warm feeling. Sometimes he pushed things around just to feel that soft warmth again. No matter how much he played around with space as though it was his very own sandbox, it didn't matter. Outside of the observable universe, free from the sight of those weirdly shaped tin 'asteroids' with little blinking devices and all that honestly creeped him out—there were no repercussions this far into space. Want to kill a constellation? Sure. Nudge one planet just enough outside its orbit that it spins straight out of it like a little galactic slingshot? Amusing!
But none of these things confused him any less.
Laying in the night, a coat he ripped out of the fabric of spacetime warping around his shoulders with a comforting weight, Dazai closes his eyes after a long… well, it's not quite a day. Measurements of time are quite useless at the scale we're talking about, so let us call it a moment. One moment that has stretched infinitely long. Between the back of his eyelids and his eyes, the dull glow of stars remains. Orange and white circles of light that give him a headache. And with that headache, a familiar complaint in his mind.
See, there is one thing natural to self consciousness, and that is the burden of curiosity. Curiosity that leads to thought and then to the inevitable question— why? Dazai's existence has always been a mystery to him. To the odd way he was inert against all the occurrences of this edge of the galaxy, to the way it seemed impossible for him to break this consistent state of fugue… why is the question.
The what comes after. What was that infinite void he was born out of? This name in his head that he has no choice but to call his, what does it mean? Questions that leave his thoughts spinning. Even when they stopped, when he told himself that it was irrelevant, for he was here and there was nothing he could do about it— no!!
What sort of answer is that, to simply cope with existence because it has been thrust upon you? The thought of that in particular frustrated him. This senseless life he has been living, if he is alive at all, surely did not have to be such a damning fate. If he was brought into creation, he could be pulled out of it.
Twin abysses look out into the star system again. Would it be possible to walk far enough to the edge of the universe? Would somehow stepping closer to the end of everything make him realize the value in existence, if there was any? The way stars burst in brilliant displays of colorful light, would some sort of almost divine epiphany hit him too? What a childish dream, isn't it?
But all dreams end soon. After all, for one, finding such a thing would be impossible. That is to say, since the boundaries of the universe are ever expanding, and he knows they are, it would be impossible to reach the theoretical edge of the universe. In hindsight, what an impossibly stupid idea. Does desperation drive men to insanity?
Oh well, the answer to that should be rather obvious.
Dazai decided to stand up, holding his coat together by it's lapels. Sure, he couldn't walk to the edge of the universe, but that wasn't the only way to meet one's end, was there? Even someone as, for lack of better word, inert as him could die. He turned his head, looking at a distant flurry of stars. a circular band of light far away, impossibly small. But it stands out for one reason.
An irrational thought occurs.
There! There he will meet his end!
Sure, it was a far ways off from here, but everything was far from everything here; even light years or parsecs shouldn't be too much trouble. After all, for an aimless man like him, even the promise of some sort of change is enough to make him cross half the universe.
Time is an irrelevant concept to a person who has no method for defining it.
For an orbitless being like him, only distance existed. Dazai lived like he had eternity in the palm of his hand, felt like it as well. Throughout that journey that had spanned across 600 × 10^76 light years, Dazai had been observing death quite closely. After all, it seemed to follow him regardless of wherever he went.
Fading stardust and nebulae clouds, the graves of past stars.
Massive ongoing supernovae that he did not have the patience to observe for too long, for they looked as though they will keep burning forever.
Two galaxies colliding with each other in a deadly kiss that sent shockwaves through his own body, tingling but bearable; lethal lovers of finality.
Death seemed to be the running theme of the universe as far as he could see. Yet, this spectacles didn't quite amuse Dazai. Partly because of the destruction they brought with them, violent and fierce, all too bright to boot—in his opinion, the ideal end would be a peaceful one rather than a long, infinitely drawn out attempt that would create a mark in telescopes centuries after. Which is why he is now here. The centre of this previously faraway galaxy, on the very edge of the accretion disk of Sagittarius A*.
Beneath his feet, stardust and stellar clouds move with the flow of the current like tides on a shore. The pinks, purples, reds and oranges melt into one another, and beyond it, pitch darkness. The hole in the centre consumes light. Beautiful, empty, terrifying, ethereal. Speckles of starlight reflect in the boy's void like eyes, fixed on the centre in a singular, trance like way.
One more step and he won't be able to fight against this current. One more step and he'll be sucked in and crushed by gravity into a point as quick as can be. He wouldn't even feel it. A deep dive into nothingness, is this not what a peaceful, perfect death looks like?
He raised his leg to take another step, nearly stepping into the tide of ether before-
YOINK!!
Something warm, no, not simply warm, but searing clamps around his wrist, and then he is pulled, the black hole growing smaller and smaller in his eyes. Eyes wide, his arm reaches out into the singularity in one last desperate stretch. All in vain.
What was that?
Once he feels himself still, the searing sensation on his wrist abates. And then, from behind him, a voice. Obnoxious, loud, decidedly angry, but a voice. Strange. He assumed he was the only wayfarer in the sea of stars since his conception. Turning around and looking at the boy in front of him, his eyes glimmer in some sort of strange curiosity. Now, this changes things, doesn't it? Something new.
The boy in front of him had hair the color of a dying star, a pale glow on his skin; but he was burning, burning more than anything else Dazai had felt throughout his life. Which is saying a lot, given that he's withstood levels of heat that would start disintegrating matter close enough the source, and got out unscathed. No, this heat he could feel, and more than just a dull, fading warmth. For a few seconds, he just stood there blankly, letting out a sigh of contentment at the toasty feeling. However, the boy's annoying voice had just pulled him out of that satisfaction. Dazai could hear him just fine, why was he yelling?
"What the fuck were you doing, idiot?!?!?! You could've gotten sucked in! You know that if you went in there you wouldn't have ever come back, right? What is wrong with you?!"
That's a question Dazai has asked himself far too many times. So far, the answer seems to be 'just a little short of everything'. But he doesn't answer, just scoffs, responding in a petulant tone.
"Yeah, idiot, that's the whole point, obviously. It's rude to interrupt someone trying to kill themselves, you know?!"
"Just who are you calling an idiot?! I saved your life."
"Well, clearly, nobody asked you to, mister dwarf star!!"
"Who are you calling a dwarf star- I'm not- Shut up, bastard!"
Chuuya stammered, somewhat at a loss for words. Truth be told, it was true that compared to their counterparts in the star system, neutron stars were exceptionally small, but it wasn't as if they were weaker! In this part of the galaxy, he was still the brightest star. He grumbled incoherently, placing his hands on his hips. "Why would you want to fall into a black hole in the first place?"
"You should be asking why wouldn't I want to fall into a black hole. Looks like fun, doesn't it!"
"Fun? That thing'll fucking crush you. Way too many of my friends got eaten by that thing."
Dazai shrugged. He took note of the constellation he was pulled into, but it seemed rather odd for stars in the same system to call each other 'friends'. Eventually, they'll all either collide or drift apart. Gravity in this pocket of space was particularly unstable, and asteroids were floating in the path of orbits; to Dazai, this was just a collapse waiting to happen. What a shame; this little star was more interesting than anything he's seen in his travels halfway through the universe. Especially since it's fate was one rather tastefully ironic.
After all, neutron stars eventually collapse into themselves to become black holes themselves. Eventually, even this constellation would simply become fodder for his singularity. Even with the knowledge, that it would take time and that for now, this boy will burn; the irony made Dazai giggle out of nowhere. Even in a universe as empty as this there was divine comedy.
Our god is a god of absurdities after all, huh.
"Hey, if I wanna get crushed that's my problem. Who even are you anyway?"
Dazai vaguely gestured to him. So far, the only 'person' he's met in space has been himself. This was, frankly, extremely odd. But curiosity is the natural state of all conscious beings, and he is no different. The grimace on the strange boy's face relaxed, and he answered.
"Chuuya."
"Chuuya?" Dazai sounded it out.
"You heard me, dumbass."
"What's the hostility for? Did all that fission cook your brain or something? I mean, assuming you have one in the first place-" Dazai mocked, watching as a vein popped up on Chuuya's forehead with an impish little smile on his face. Somehow the fire that engulfed the boy seemed to burn more when incensed, is that the key?
"What. Did. You. Just. Say."
Chuuya's body has a bad habit of moving before his mind does. A habit he has no intention of curing anytime soon, really. A habit that sends a swift kick to Dazai's back, sending the poor boy flying through space. Good riddance.
Dazai opens his eyes, finding himself flung into another nebulae, not too different from the one he started from. Odd. He's pretty sure he has seen this exact same cloud before; a green and orange wasteland of cosmic dust. His eyes scan the space around him, squinting at a particularly tiny circle of stars clustered around one central void. A sight he knows he has already seen, before it clicks in his head.
Did that boy seriously kick him back to the same place he started?
As in, that 600 × 10^76 light year long journey was completely useless?
Dazai should be furious. Absolutely livid. But to a man that has no real concept of time, wasting it means practically nothing. Instead, he laughs. A loud laugh that echoes in the cloud expanse around him, the only sound in an otherwise deathly silent world. As he rests his head in the curve of a surprisingly smooth asteroid, he thinks back on the boy he met, and his own failure. "That was interesting…" he mused to himself. Sure, he failed to fall into that supermassive black hole, but one thing was for sure; there was something about that puny little star that made him curious, something new and different. The first time in his infinite existence he's found something to be excited about. Wide, void-like eyes stare into the star systems above, revolving around each other in a perfect ballet.
He'll have to go back to that galaxy. For entertainment, if nothing else. After all, this curiosity had to be resolved if he wanted to die peacefully. Besides, it'll be plenty fun to push that boy's buttons again. What was his name? Chuuya? He lets the name drift around in his mind, thinking of what new way to insult him the next time he makes his trip. Between calculating distances, watching ether drift, swirling colors and new ways to torment that little star, Dazai's eyes close into a blissful slumber, cradled by the nebulae.
