Update! Luigi's Attorney Dickey confirms that his "outburst" where he tells the cameras that this is unjust, was because he was never read his miranda rights and was under the impression at that time that he was being denied the right to a fair trial, an attorney, or any legal representation.

He is angry and terrified in that footage because they have failed to follow basic procedure to inform him that he has any rights at all. This is a major red flag of police corruption. This is UNACCEPTABLE and further means any interrogation they did of him is unlawful, and inadmissible in court.

let me explain, Batman takes on the aesthetic and attitude of an anti-hero, leans into theatrical monstrification because he and Gotham do not believe in heroes, they are all quicker to believe in something out there eating criminals than they are to believe in someone genuinely trying to help everybody at no cost. Gothams heroes are dead is something Bruce internalizes when his parents are murdered, it’s something all gothamites internalized as they grew up in that wretched city. but Dick, who’s outfit and mannerisms are distilled classic comic book heroism didn’t. he grew up in the spotlight bringing joy to people and he refused to let Gotham take that from him, he refused to compromise on heroism at any level, he proved to Bruce that heroes can survive in Gotham, that heroes can exist in the world at all

i mean this in the gentlest way possible: you need to eat vegetables. you need to become comfortable with doing so. i do not care if you are a picky eater because of autism (hi, i used to be this person!), you need to find at least some vegetables you can eat. find a different way to prepare them. chances are you would like a vegetable you hate if you prepared it in a stew or roasted it with seasoning or included it as an ingredient in a recipe. just. please start eating better. potatoes and corn are not sufficient vegetables for a healthy diet.
