I am so sad to be retiring my "I 💛sex" bracelet from Khao San Road, Bangkok! After nearly a year on the road she's finally giving up the ghost, thanks to a fraying thread :( funny story behind this bracelet was that I was drunk on khao San (as you do) and I was like "I want the whole khao San experience!" so I bought and ate two Scorpions (with Pete's help), drank two buckets and wanted to buy the most offensive bracelet possible. Well. Ahem... Their most offensive? Not even appropriate for like....late late late late night TV. Shit like "I 💛 jew cock". And that's wasn't even the worst! I don't dare put the worst suffice it to say it was about committing sexual offenses for the luls. So I played it vaguely safe and went with "I 💛 sex". It's been on my wrist the whole year except for my brief stint as an English teacher in Tbilisi. Pretty sure wearing that while working with kids was gonna be a bit on the wrong side!
