Summary: You had a very stressful day at work and your lovely fiancés are just the right remedy you need.

“Ugh...” You groaned and flopped onto your bed. Your job as cashier was always irritating and exhausting but fuck today was the worst. First an angry Karen decided that her perfect demon of a child was allowed to just take the candy without paying for it. Then your manager was being a rude asshat for refusing to take a well deserved break after dealing with rude customers all day. To put the cherry on top after a long 8 hour no break shift, your manager decided to keep you an extra TWO HOURS to restock your store’s supplies. 

To say you were pissed a was the understatement of the year!

Your whole body was so sore and your stomach was empty but you had zero energy to get up.

Eventually you hear the door downstairs open and your ears were met by the sound of Big D scolding Marckus for god knows what. Seems the guys are back from another hunt. You had zero energy to deal with it.

Eventually the door to your shared room opens and the first thing you hear was a very concerned Marckus. “Sweet heart what’s wrong?” Your fiancés come into view and you could already see Marckus got beat up pretty badly by some vampires. Kitten’s hand gently rested on your back while you reached out to hold Marckus’s hand. “Shit day at work.” You muttered. While Marckus chuckled Kitten seemed to be very concerned. “You look so pale darling, have you eaten any today?” When you tell them no and that your shit boss neglected to give you a damn break, you could feel both of them get angry. They hate your job just as much as you do. “I’ll go cook us something. Marckus look after them.” He placed a small kiss to your forehead before heading downstairs. You softly smiled. Marckus gently pulled you into his arms. “Are you okay? You look like how I feel.” You asked. Both of you laugh. “Eh, I’ve gotten worse. We’re more concerned about you.” A soft sigh escapes you as Marckus runs a hand through your hair. 

“Why don’t you just quit that stupid job and come hunting with us? I’m sure you got some pent up anger to take out on those bitchpires.” You laughed as you look up at Marckus. “Trust me I would but ONE of us has to a have a normal job.” You then snuggled up to Marckus. “Plus Kit would have a heart attack if I joined you guys.” You then hear said man from the doorway. “You damn right I will!” He brings you three a bowl of beef stew. With a low groan you sit up to except the bowl. “After you eat, I’m running you a hot bath.” Kitten said, pointing his fork at you like a damn weapon.” He then aims it at Marckus. “And I got this for your black eye.” Kitten reached into his pocket to pull out an ice pack for Marckus. “What will we do without you my love?” Marckus wooed. Through your food, you smiled softly at the two.

Once you got out the bath, you flopped into bed and cuddle up to Kitten who was reading one of his many romance novels. “CUDDLE PILE!” You and Kitten tensed up as Marcus dived bomb onto the bed to engulf the two of you. “MARCKUS NO!” But it was too late, you heard the poor man bang his head on the headboard. “Ow...worth it!” Kitten huffs as he worries over Marckus’s new head bruise. But he just gives both of you the widest smile you’ve ever seen. It made you softly smile, it was always amazing to come home to these two. The three of you eventually got comfy in each others arms. Marckus sat in middle of both of you. With a soft sigh you say. “I love you ya dinguses.” Both of them smiled at you. “We love you too sweetheart.”

Left 4 dead Ellis x Fem! Reader Parenting at it's finest

(A bit OOC for Ellis)

You felt a smile tug at your lips as you watched the door to your bedroom slowly opened. Your husband was still sound asleep beside you, loudly snoring unaware of the small figure that snuck into your room. However, you pretend not to notice the little one that miserably hid how quiet their steps were. It wasn't until said little one was within arms reach was when you made your move. Yanking the covers off you and your husband, you lunged off the bed and wrapped you and your daughter in a blanket cocoon. "COME HERE!" You yelled scaring the daylights out of your daughter. The loud screech that followed after, woke up your husband a thud telling you he fell out of bed. "Ellis, love are you alright?" A muffled. "Yeah!" Made you and your daughter laugh.

"I almost had it!" Nessarose exclaimed as you made breakfast. This made you softly chuckle as Ellis held an ice pack to his head. "Well, your steps were a bit loud sweetie." You say as you place the plates down. Ellis made exaggerated kungfu moves. "Yeah, you gotta be sneaky like a ninja." Shaking your head, you nod to Ellis. "Not to mention your father's snoring like a damn grizzly bear woke me up way before hand." To this he looks at you with an offended look, Nessarose loudly laughed. "I don't snore." You raised a brow and look over at your daughter who took your side. "Daddy, you snore really REALLY loud. Like shaking the house loud!" Ellis placed a hand over his heart and let out a gasp. "My own daughter goin against me! What has the world come to!" You rolled your eyes and softly laughed.

Just then your daughter smiled up at you. "Can you teach me how to be a ninja mom?" You shrugged before standing up with your plate. "If you wish to be a good ninja first you must do the most important thing to becoming a good ninja." She beams up at you waiting for you to finish the sentence. Ellis chuckles knowing where this is going. "All good ninjas go to school and get good grades." You laughed as Nessarose deflated in her chair. "But school is boring!" Ellis points his fork to her then to you. "Yeah but how do ya think me and your mom are awesome fighters in those stories we tell ya?" With a little huff she lowers her head. "If it means becoming the best ninja in the world-" Suddenly she jumps from her chair almost scaring you. "-then I will go to school to become the bestest ninja in the whole wide world!" You pumped your fist in the air. "That's the spirit! Now lets get going, don't wanna wait on the road to become the bestest ninja now do we?" She hopped down from her chair and took a hold of your hand. "Let's go!"

I'm probably like super annoying by requesting again and feel free to ignore this if you don't want to but I thought of another adorable little thing. (Again, Ellis x Reader and pronouns are She/Her) So, what if reader and Ellis were dating before the apocalypse happened, and got separated when his "99% zombie proof" truck gets absolutely torn apart, but then they find each other at a military base after they're picked up from New Orleans after The Parish? Again, feel free to ignore if you dont want to, but if you do, thank you sm!!

You're not annoying at all! Plus this gives me more writing practice.

The wind blew against your face like harsh smacks as you raced down the streets of New Orleans. A horde of infected were right on your tail and it doesn't help that you had to bob and weave from a Hunter that was also after you. But you felt some glimmer of hope as you spotted a safe house. Quickly you hopped over a car hood, hearing the Hunter miss its lunge hitting the car. This gave you enough time to rush into the safe room and lock the door shut. Feeling victorious you flip the bird at the Hunter.

You slid down the door and tried to even out your ragged breathing. Once you calmed down, you started to loot what you could carry and began devising a plan. You couldn't stay long, Ellis was out there somewhere. At the mention of his name, your heart ached. You and your boyfriend got separated during an attack. A tank had completely demolished Ellis's truck and with how big the hordes were, you guys had no choice but to separate. Right now you knew you would have to wait out the angry horde outside the safe room door, but until then a plan had started to form.

There was a big map on the table with all sorts of pins and markings. After about five minutes you were able to locate where you were. Ellis had been taking you guys to a rescue point where you guys would've been taken to safety by the military. You would need to reach the interstate bridge to get to the meet up point and that was a good few miles from here. But doable.

It took an hour before the horde left. So grabbing your bag of supplies, you carefully walked out of the safe room. Keeping an ear out for any special infected that may be lurking by. You chose to keep to the alley ways instead of the main streets where you could be easily spotted.

"Oh shit..." Left your mouth as you stared at the bridge ahead of you. Currently you were hiding inside of a toll booth, letting a Hunter and Smoker lumber by. The bridge was packed with abandoned cars and all sorts of infected bastards. Glancing down at your gun, you count how many bullets you have left. A clip and a half plus your knife...this might be harder than you thought.

Boy were you right.

You were swarmed the second you started running. With a little help from your past hobbies, you were able to dodge and hop onto the cars. Using them as an extra barrier between you and them. Any that got too close got a knife to the dome or a bullet. However, as you neared a group of semi trucks, you felt yourself slow. How the fuck were you going to get over those? You don't have much time to think as a Hunter's shrill cry rang through the air and you felt yourself being tackled over the edge of the bridge.

Both you and the Hunter as well as other infected fell into the water. Thank god it was a hyped up version of rabies because as the other infected tried to get out the water, you took your chance to swim to safety. You let out a loud angry groan once you reached the shore. You soaked from head to toe, you lost your gun and knife. You were also sure you lost some of your supplies in your bag. But aside from the fact that you were now defenseless, you made it to the other side. Not wasting any time, you rush over to where the checkpoint was. Of course you slowed down and raised your hands to let the military folk know you were fine. "Help! Please, I'm not infected!" Your yelling caught their attention and an officer was fast to help you out.

"Where are we going?" You couldn't help but ask one of the officers. The ride there was relatively quiet with the sounds of radios going off. One of them, the one who brought into the checkpoint, answered you. "There's a base a few miles east. You'll be safe miss." You felt so relieved that you were going to be safe, but at the same time you felt worried. What if Ellis didn't make it? What if he's still in New Orleans cooped up in a safe room waiting for you? What if he died? You felt your eyes water at the thought. No, he's gotta be safe. He's gotta be, that cute idiot was too stubborn to die.

The camp was filled with rescued survivors. You glanced among the few you could see from behind the fence. Hoping to catch a glimpse of Ellis. You felt your anxiety sky rocket bit by bit when you weren't able to find him. Once the CEDA people checked you out and saw your were fine, they let you go. Another guard stopped you and gave you a box full of supplies before telling you where you needed to go.

You didn't even get five feet into the big building before you heard him. That sweet country voice that melted your heart evertime you heard it. "(Y/N)! Oh my god you made it!" You dropped the box you were carrying to rush into his arms. He spun you around, smiling through happy tears. "I was so scared...I thought you died!" You playfully shoved him, a waterfall of tears fall down your face. "Don't go and leave me like that again got it?" He chuckled. "Now you know I'm too strong to die. Like this one time me and my buddy Keith-" You cut him off with another tight hug and kiss. God you were so happy that this doofus was alive.

When you moved away, he takes your hand in his. A dorky grin on his face. "I can't wait to show you the awesome room they gave us." You wiped your eyes with a big smile on your face. "I can't wait to see it."

Left 4 Dead 2 Ellis x Fem!Reader

Things in this world nowadays sucked, what with the angry infected that chased you everywhere you went. Never knowing a moments of peace. You yourself used to be the loner type of survivor, just trying to get by in the apocalypse. You were kinda okay with being by yourself.

That was until you met a group of some quirky survivors. More specifically an adorable man named Ellis.

Since the day you crossed paths and joined the group that man could always bring a smile to your face with his bad jokes or his really long stories. You could tell it annoyed the other people like Nick or Rochelle but you found that to be your favorite thing about Ellis. How even in an apocalypse where you guys could die any second, that he had this positive attitude that just seemed to never go away.

You never thought someone could make you feel this way during the end of the world but you couldn't help yourself but fall for the airhead of a man.

"Are we almost there yet?" A groan came from Rochelle who shot a glare at the impatient Nick. He was seated with you and Ellis in the backseat. "No Nick, we still have another ten miles to go." The man huffed and leaned back in his seat. You let a small groan of annoyance, not really wanting to deal with his shit after the mayhem that happened at the mall.

Sitting in the back would've been okay with you if it wasn't such a tight fit with three grown adults sitting in the back. To make things worse, you pushed a bit too close to Ellis who seemed blissfully unaware of how close he was to you or that your cheeks were a bit too pink for your liking. He was too busy gawking at the thought of him riding in the Jimmy Gibbs car. Honestly it was kinda cute. You started to feel a bit tired from all the fighting you guys had done at the mall and could feel your eyes growing heavy. Your yawning didn;t go unnoticed and Ellis makes a joke about it. "Need some beauty sleep princess?" You chuckled quietly at the nickname but nodded anyway. "Hell yeah. Did you see how many hordes we had to deal with back there?" He laughed and suggested that you should get some beauty sleep until you guys get to your destination.

You shrugged and leaned your head back to try to sleep but the position just didn't feel right. So you decided to lay you head to the side and ended up laying your head right on Ellis's shoulder. It took you five seconds to realize what happened and you felt you face heat up fast. "Oh god Ellis I'm so sorry man!" You squeaked and the equally flustered man shakes his head. "It's alright. I don't mind you using me as a pillow sweetheart." You felt a bubble form in your throat and you could hear Nick laugh at you. "Aw looks like someone's got a crush." Rochelle agreed. "You guys would make a cute couple!" If your faces could get anymore redder they would. "I mean that sounds like a nice idea." You quietly muttered. Ellis glanced down at you with wide eyes. "Wait are you for real?" You let a nervous laugh, too flustered to look up. "Yeah..." You felt an arm snake around your waist to hold you closer to the man. "That's awesome I never had a girlfriend before!" You visibly relaxed and had this dorky grin on your face. "I'd be happy to be the first."

This car ride just got better and more comfortable for you.
