hello!!! im in the middle of a big reread, and you mentioned in chapter 28 to not say if you know who wo1n and user are to avoid spoilers. i'm sending this to you because engagement is swag and good for author enrichment. now i don't know for SURE if i'm correct but i'm gonna post this here anyways:

so back on my reread! i was talking to a friend in my dms and i pointed out that both of the new usernames w0 used has 14 letters. then my friend pointed out- what else has 14 letters? evilxisumavoid. additionally, the ORIGINAL username had 10 letters-and so does evilxisuma. this would also explain w0 thinking it was "clever". what i CANNOT, for the LIFE OF ME, figure out, is what cipher you used or what is being used to encode it. the repeat numbers are really throwing me off- 33 in place of i & s in the first one, 11 in place of i & L in the second... additonally the constant trait of W0/wo is peculiar. ..maybe it ISN'T a cipher and is specifically the letter count? if this IS ex: this implies a shocking amount of self-awareness from him! ....could be a red herring as well. you could be laughing at me in the distance for falling for the obvious red herring, but that's a-okay!

Good ol' Colin! I know who he is but I do not have any plans to have him in The Birds. As much as I would love to put everyone in this fic, I don't have ideas for how everyone would fit in. I like to put in characters that move the story or relationships between characters. Otherwise it just feels like "hey, look who's here!" for the sake of easter eggs. On that note--

I do have plans for Stephanie, Babs, and Cass-- but in a spin off story/series that involves Catwoman. That's all I'll say for now, but the Batgirls will have their own fun outside of our little Birds.

As for Duke, I don't really have any plans for him, currently. That may change? But only if inspiration hits me like a freight train

I'm glad to hear you are enjoying The Birds! I am hoping to post a new chapter soon on Rebel, so cross your fingers my brain keeps focused on it.

What is your favorite part about being one of the mothers?

Oh gosh...

My favorite part? I'm glad that people feel safe with me. I love to give advice and try and help my internet children to the best of my ability.

My least favorite part is related to that. Sometimes it can be hard to be "mother" to so many internet children. I worry that I might be failing some of them or not doing what I should be. It can be a little nerve racking trying to figure out what the right thing to do is.

I'm actually going through that right now and it's very stressful. So I am very grateful for my co-internet parents who can help me take that stress off me for just a moment. Of course, a lot of them are drained at the moment as well.

We're a little stretched thin at the moment...

Do you have plans to post the sequel to The Birds?

Hi, yes, I know it's been a bit-- and seeing that this is a series, I'm going to just list/elaborate.

So currently posted is:

The Birds: Hatching Family The Birds: Finding a Nest First Flights: Hero We also have the side story "Supersons" that's a prequel.

What I assume you're referring to is the next part. "First Flights: Rebel" which is currently being written. It's been slow going because life decided to kind of explode around me right now. I haven't really been able to work on anything new (to anyone subscribed to me on ao3, sorry about that spam of emails of my old fics).

I will say that I have written the prologue and the first chapter. That's all I've gotten so far so it is coming. I have no idea when, but it will come. Sorry I don't have a more definitive answer than that.

unfortunately, the Jinn/Kenobi team was unavailable to be sent to Mandalore to protect the Duke of Kalevala and his daughters

instead, the Council chose to send Plo Koon; his dedication to his own planet's traditions and the face mask seemed likely to make him more approachable and relatable to the Mandalorians

Plo does not end up returning to the Temple at the end of the mission, as he cannot abandon his many new foundlings
