Strawberry season is almost over, so I used this opportunity to make (vegetarian/gluten-free) corn flour and oat milk pancakes with strawberries and vanilla cream cheese. My CELTA experience has finally come to an end after much suffering-sleepless nights, limited time for myself and my family and friends, lots of work etc, but also much fun and insight, plus I met really cool people! I can recommend it to anyone who wants to teach English or develop their skills as an English teacher. I was hesitant at first, but now I'm a total fan! I've already tweaked my ways of teaching! I wouldn't have been myself if I only did the things I had to do. So instead of focusing solely on my coursework, I went to explore. Up in the mountains there are some ruins of the town that used to be Bar. Again, this place needs to be cleaned, there was trash even in an olive tree plantation, come on! This is my only official photo from Tirana. You can see legs above this shot. The owners of those legs surrounded me and begged for money and were looking at my phone and bag with very much interest. I kept my cool obviously, but I could have easily been robbed, and I did get nervous. Passing through another Albanian town I saw people give begging children money right away. That's not help and it's not fair to other children. Help is when children can become self-sufficient. Ohrid lake needs #nofilter. It's my first time in Macedonia and it's amazing!
