The older I get the more I admire people who are earnestly, genuinely into whatever their thing is. I know it sounds like an annoying cliche but unless you're being cruel or hurtful there is really no need to be normal about things. The dude with the bad fake accent at the renaissance faire is having the time of his life. The people having photoshoots with their fashion dolls are loving it. The old lady with a yard unreasonably full of tacky ass lawn ornaments is having a blast, HOA be damned.
Don't waste your time being too cool to have fun, y'know?

all queer discourse could be stopped if we all just remembered that in the eyes of conservative fascists we're all dirty queers polluting their kids minds who need to be eradicated at all costs

yall have got to be more normal about Southern people and I'm not kidding. enough of the Sweet Home Alabama incest jokes, enough of the idea that all Southerners are bigots and rednecks, and enough of the idea that the South has bad food. shut up about "trailer trash" and our accents and our hobbies!
do yall know how fucking nauseating it is to hear people only bring up my state to make jokes about people in poverty and incestuous relationships? how much shame I feel that I wasn't born up north like the Good Queers and Good Leftists with all the Civilised Folk with actual houses instead of small cramped trailers that have paper thin walls that I know won't protect me in a bad enough storm?
do yall know how frustrating it is to be trans in a place that wants to kill you and whenever you bring it up to people they say "well just move out" instead of sympathizing with you or offering help?
do yall understand how alienating it is to see huge masterposts of queer and mental health resources but none of them are in your state because theyre all up north? and nobody seems to want to fix this glaring issue because "they're all hicks anyways"
Southern people deserve better. we deserve to be taken seriously and given a voice in the queer community and the mental health space and leftist talks in general.

ik the common agreement in neurodivergent circles seems to be that we all function better at night but here's to the ones who are on the opposite end of the spectrum. To the early birds who wake at 7 and can't stay up past 10pm. To the ones who are left out of almost every social event bc everything seems to be happening after 8 but you're normally in bed by that point. To the ones who are made fun of bc "only little kids go to bed that early". To the ones who, even if they wanted to, can never seem to find their place among others bc of society's expectation that the real fun only begins after midnight. I see you, I feel you, and I wish you a very same

Oh! That's my mother's birthday! As well as one of my good friend's birthdays as well!
It's the 15th of February you must be thinking of. All chocolate goes on half sale in store.
Happy to help!

I have seen the "to be cringe is to be free" thing a lot and now I raise you this: Why shouldn't we call the ones who bully cringe? Why should we not call the ones who are rude cringe? Why must we be confined to be subject to a word with no true bounds, when they so clearly are more affected by it?
If to be one's self is to be cringe, then shall we determine all those who exist to be?
If not, then perhaps it should be used not as a metric of the viewers level of enjoyment in a thing, but instead based on if it causes a harm.
Pushing a kid for lunch money? Cringe. So early 2000s.
Enjoying destroying people's hope in humanity's creation? Cringe. Boring.
Determining the societal worth of a person based on factors they can not control? Cringe. Have not this been left behind in the ancient dust kicked up by the wars of our ancestors?
To be human is to be able to find enjoyment in things.
To be cringe is to find enjoyment in the degradation of others.
Ever notice how any time someone calls you "cringe", 99 times out of 100 what they mean is "you're happy and I don't like it"

When you lay your hand in mine My fingers feel your warmth. Tightly squeezed like citrus vines All around our sickly forms.
Eyes closed tightly as they can So I can only feel you near. Because if I open my eyes again You might disappear.
For when I wake a morning come Your absence feels too hollow. The existence of one not begun And so in sorrow I shall wallow.
I shall find you one day soon For upon this Earth we wander. And one day we will be two And stare to the wild blue yonder.
