maybe, instead of looking for a reason to care about this new restriction on feedism content because it's going to affect a group other than fat people, you could care about it because it targets fat people. fat people on this site are already constantly harassed for existing while fat, it does not matter to those harassing them who they are aside from being fat, and now there is a button to report that. the primary group it is going to affect is fat people, and that is enough.

Eating however, whatever and whenever you like is not bad. And nor is helping, admiring or encouraging that behaviour.

Tumblr demonising the kink and the community behind it is a joke.

This community is and can be a sanctuary for an otherwise marginalised section of society, a place where fat people and those who love them can be unapologetically themselves, and be revered and celebrated for it. And practice their kink (or just embrace being fat) in a safe place, free of judgement.

It’s a disgrace what has been done, it’s blatant fatphobia, plain and simple.

If you're new here and reading this; if you feel ashamed and want to delete out of fear someone will somehow recognize you: 1) even if we could tell who you are, we're into this too, so why the hell would we tell anyone? And 2) we can't tell who you are unless you upload some form of ID, you are safe here and no one is going to tell your irl mates or online friend spaces about any of this.

Please stop deactivating, not only are you robbing yourself of fun experiences before you even give this place a chance, but you're also making blog owners worry and feel concerned.
