realising that ive been masking every day around 90% of people + letting people make me uncomfortable for the sake of friendship is making me so sad, like i wanna do a full 180 and figure out who i am without masking and have clear boundaries and an ability to stick standing up for myself when they've been broken but idk how to go about it :(

like ive been masking my whole life and the thought of no longer having that as a crutch is TERRIFYING but it is so draining being a different person with everyone and not knowing who the actual me is :(
