I prayed very specifically on January 1, 2018, for God to give me the courage to live out Hebrews 11:1-2. It begins with being surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses. I have been introduced to incredible men and women this year already or solidified my partnerships with great people of my past. I wrote this poem 12/26/16. It was the beginning of coming to peace with my father. I began writing a series of blogs about my journey of healing. @mssamrichardson has been an angel of light and grace to me and encouraged me with these words... “You have turned pain into joy, bitterness into understanding and a life given into a legacy in creation. You are the daughter so awesome, so unique and so inspiring that he never knew, and we your friends and family are the richer for your resilience, heart and strength... may you wrap these words around you when the time comes and know you’re held in love. Sam Xoxoxoxoxo” My friend called me a “word physician”. Another told me my words brought her healing.
