I mean I'd imagine that the reason light pool never gets mentioned is because it has no power without him

The grimm pools pretty much automatically make grimm unless darkness or someone else actively tells them to stop

I assume light pools don't just give Immortality to anyone jumping in light has to actively will this

So if anyone did find the domain of light without the actual owner it's just a normal ass lake

There is also the possibility it sank underwater or underground in the (if you take the evolution statement at face value) millions of years since salem fell in it and is pretty much lost forever

There is also the third possibility that salem destroyed it at some point

She hates light and everything he done to her and has spent at least a few centuries aimlessly walking the world it's not out of the question she came back to his domain at one point to wipe all evidence it existed while enraged we know she's not above destroying the environment when angered

And finally the fourth and most likely possibility

The entire thing got flattened out of existence when darkness blew up the moon

I'll get a bit power scaler here but most of the calculations I've seen of just how destructive it is say this can at least wipe out a country

So light domain being reduced to rubble by darkness temper tantrum is very likely

Domain of Light location

So Land of Darkness plays a massive role in the narrative, being Salem's power base, but its counterpart Domain of Light seems to be missing. So where is it?

First, looking at the map of Remnant it's safe to assume Land of Darkness is somewhere in the circled area considering that entire continent is unexplored, darkened and shaped like God of Darkness.

If that's the case, then it's likely its counterpart is in Eastern dragon shaped part of Anima. Not only that, in front of Domain of Light we see East Asian styled shrines dedicated to God of Light.

Domain is also surrounded by snowy mountains, which we only see in that part of Anima.

Thing is, unlike Land of Darkness, that would mean Domain of light is in inhabited territory, not too far from Argus and Mistral. Which begs the question, why was area which has pool which grants immortality never mentioned or revisited?

My theory is that it was lost and is now underwater. Domain of Light is now under Lake Matsu.

It would explain why it was never mentioned again.

Domain of Light was circular valley surrounded by mountains.

Lake Matsu is circular lake surrounded by mountains.

It makes even more sense if you believe Dust is remains of previous humanity. Place where largest army humanity had was disintegrated would be Dust rich area.

If it's a cinder time traveling to the past situation i can see her rescuing her younger self

She knows she ended up a slave anyway and she's here might as well try and make sure little her is a free women with a better future then her she'd kill the madam probably Rhoades if she finds him take baby cinder and flee atlas

Now will she actually succeed in giving her younger self a better future?

i doubt it

Cinder is a deeply troubled women with issues lot's of issue's it's really not out of the question this version of cinder just ends up a worse person because older cinder is a bitter asshole with anger issues she should not be trusted with small traumatized children

The best thing she could do for baby cinder is maybe trying to find someone she can count on to raise her and fuck off which she probably won't because she's to prideful to admit she can't do it and most of the people she knows who can be trusted with a child are either not born yet or currently shouldn't be trusted with kids at the moment

Actually had a fic concept like that a while back and it's a crime there aren't more like it

cinder time travels and kills the madame and convinces baby cinder to come with her by claiming to be her long lost mother but baby cinder over time getting more and more terrified of this murderous women that keeps leaving bodies in her wake ends up taking a sword and fighting her barely clutching a win by stabbing cinder in the chest mirroring her fight with Rhoades

In her last moments cinder just pats her younger self on the head wishing her luck before she dies

Child Cinder meets Adult Cinder, what do you think will happen?

Honestly I think it would depend on what era of Adult Cinder. Beacon Cinder is a very different person than Atlas Cinder

Beacon Cinder would probably pretend not to know her. She isn’t that scared little girl anymore, she’s Salem’s chosen Fall Maiden. She’s strong, she’s powerful, not like this mouse of a girl who allowed a woman with No Aura to subjugate her.

She would act with her younger self how Salem acts with her. Disdain hidden under a lacquer or love, just enough to manipulate the vulnerable girl

Atlas Cinder is another story. By this point she’s seen just how disposable she is. She’s back in Atlas, the beginning of all her hurts and the crucible that fired her into the shard of glass she is today. At this point Cinder is VERY aware that Salem is no better than the Madame, and in fact is worse because the witch actually has the power to back it up

I don’t think she’d be able to stop herself from trying to help her younger self. Whether that means killing the Madame and her step sisters to reach Salem sooner, or making sure she’s hidden so deeply the witch can never find her, I’m not sure

I think the juiciest option would be if Atlas Cinder delivers her younger self to RWBYALPNE. They’re fools, and weak fools at that. They can’t stand against Salem. But she also knows that they would never let a young girl fall into the witch’s hands

At least she's going to have her friends and badline come in clutch or a situation where it's bluntly clear she useless in the fight and has to just watch or she'd get killed

So it might not be that bad

I'm really enjoying Indie Cross, but I am kinda nervous. There are multiple points in both episodes where Madeline from Celeste almost dies but is saved by The Knight from Hollow Night, including one moment in episode 2 where they fully sacrifice themself for her. And now that the Knight isn't around, my narrative pattern sensing brain is (hopefully incorrectly) connecting dots on Madeline's survival chances of the series.

I do not want to see one of the few prominent transfem MCs in not only indie gaming but gaming as a whole get killed off. Not even in a fan animated noncanon crossover websites.
