It is really really hard for me to willingly paint scuffs and scratches and dirty worn clothing. I still think Boba Fett looks awesome though...

So I had this idea a while back for character memorials/monuments for D&D and I finally made one. Message me if you want one for yourself! I’ll be opening these up for commissions!

Tyrsen, dwarf ranger
This dude was so much fun to paint! He was also the most powerful ranger I’ve ever seen. That set of UA class features is pretty great.

Reaper’s Fungal Queen
To be honest, I just got this mini because she is SO COOL. I still have the base to finish, but I’m pretty happy with the paint job on her.

I did this for a 3 colour maximum challenge from The Warmistress! Using blue, yellow, and white ONLY, I painted up a mini for the character I play in a Roll20 game every Friday, Thruma, the Goliath Tempest Domain Cleric. She’s got to be one of the most fun PCs I’ve ever played! I can’t wait to pick back up again tomorrow night!

Kalma - Tiefling Rogue (The Revived UA)
I used Kalma for a one shot I got to play on Halloween at my local game shop. Nothing better for a Halloween game than a character that’s basically a revenant! I used a Reaper Miniatures model and did my first experimentation with green stuff and water effects, so the corset part of her armor and the seaweed on the base is all green stuff sculpting. I added some water using a rippled water product from Woodland Scenics to make it look like she was standing in a marshy area or a coastal tidal plain, similar to one I stayed at in Maine. I think she turned out pretty well!

Eudoxia
Can’t say much about her because I’m keeping her in the wings to be my next character for a homebrew campaign my DM is whipping up!

Painted up a dwarf guard from Citadel not too long ago. Dwarves are so much fun to paint, I’m going to have to do more of these!

When my friend had her baby and decided to stop playing with our group, I made a vampire version of her Elf Paladin, Manon. She had always wanted to play a vampire, and now, she IS one. She still comes to watch us all play sometimes, with her new little familiar. We’re going to get him playing someday when he’s older. :D

Quespa Umbraphael, Dragonborn Ranger
I’ll be honest, there aren’t a lot of good dragonborn miniatures out there, and even less of those are female dragonborns. I had to work with what I could find, but this mini from Reaper was a pleasure to paint. It’s still one of the miniatures I’m most proud of and I still keep her in a case.

Goblins from WizKids. These guys are SO TINY. Very hard to paint, but a lot of fun just the same.

Hecuba, the Forge Domain Cleric.
This mini is made by Privateer Press and came through their mini crate. It was the first metal miniature I painted and it’s the reason I love them so much now! I used it for the first cleric I ever made. Unfortunately, she had very bad luck and died in our second session.

Diorama of the entrance to Hell based on the legends and folklore surrounding Hekla volcano in Iceland. I made this for the Encounter Terrain 10x10 challenge this month. Check out all of the entries at encounterterrain.com! This is the first bit of terrain I ever tried making and it turned out alright. Next time I’m going to be a bit more ambitious.
