Hello! Welcome to the first RiKU Web spotlight!!!!! This is going to (hopefully) be a recurring thing! Today I'm going to showcase the song "FROSTBITE" by Deadly Espresso!!!!

I was going to talk about the song's meaning but I couldn't look at the lyrics lol (If I get access I will edit this post) so instead I am going to talk about the production and everything else!,

The lyrics talk about someone leaving, at the end of the song RiKU says he doesn't recognize the person that has left, I think this could mean that this person died or they literally left and have changed

(supporting lyrics: Why did (you) pack your things and slowly leave through the broken door? Wait underneath the stars, and please wait for the sun's arrival. There's a complete stranger in front of me),

I think the song could also be about RiKU's death and him entering the after-life

(supporting lyrics: I don't recognize these roads Am I dead? Am I dead? The chimes are trembling And your body can't move at all. (Your) eyes will become bloodshot and (your) tissues will die by frostbite),

Another theory I have is that RiKU went into a coma

(supporting lyrics: My heart will release The future will thaw!),

so when he woke up he couldn't recognize them anymore,

The vibe this song gives me is a mixture of lost hope and melancholy, The production has this Feeling of melancholy which I feel like adds to this (I also quite enjoyed the chiptune elements)
