this fanfic is a very hard read , please read the tags below and under the cut for more information. this is a vent-fic , so i will not take anything negative about my experiences because once again , this is a vent-fic and stuff i have gone through.

oh life wasn't suppost to be good for aurora. growing up in the pits , she was a runt. already a bad spot. being a runt and being a multi? oh life just got worse. she held quintessence , air and water as her main elements - mostly air however.

nobody really appreceated aurora ( or so she thought ) , but she wasn't really expecting to be summoned .. so young. she was only 11 when summoned , a kit still. she had no family topside , but this one ghoul took her in .. cumulus. she was like a mother to aurora , always looking out for her and helping her .. but there was this guy .. he gave aurora the creeps once she met him. his name was dewdrop and he was just .. weird. he was always calling aurora by these names that made her tummy feel all fuzzy , he would always linger too long after a hug .. he was just weird.

cumulus always told dewdrop off , thankfully but one day it got too much. aurora was in her room after a long day of learning stuff that she had to know topside , she wasn't wearing anything revealing .. she was 11! but , dewdrop had snuck in and it was just the worst. he praised her in a way that made her tummy feel funny , his hands lingered too long on her body in areas that nobody was allowed to touch , he kept repeating the same words over and over again in her ear ..

"nobody will know if you don't tell."

those words made her face tail and her entire life change. she started becoming scared of dew , terrified of what he could do .. and then swiss came in. he wasn't as bad at first , right ? he was a friend! he gave aurora candy , gave her stuffies , clothes , everything an 11 year old girl could want! but then he started getting weird .. kinda like dewdrop. he started hanging around her for longer when they were alone , staring at her ( and always getting caught ) , making weird comments about how she was so mature for her age .. it was weird and aurora didn't like it one bit .. but she trusted swiss! it got to a point where phantom had to step in though .. he was caught staring at her body in a perverted way. all she was wearing was a tank top and pretty skirt cirrus had made for her! what was so sexy about that?

aurora didn't have the courage to stand up to swiss and dew after years .. she was 16 and finally learning the tambourine and keys just incase but they kept getting creepier and creepier. sunshine was her teacher with vocals , helping her with the funky harmonies and pitch .. it was so natural to her. swiss wasn't by her in the practice room , dewdrop was infront of her .. it was good! copia liked how she was getting better every day , which was perfect.

life was great for aurora until it all came crumbling down. swiss and dews comments and touches never stopped - even at 28. they were her supperiors in age , yes , but they were just.. weird. dew had touched her more over the years , all uncomfortable and ickie and swiss was just .. ugh. the pack had caught on and tried to make them stop , but swiss always found a way to hypnotize aurora back into being with him and dew .. stupid quintessence magic.

aurora was finally on tour however. she took over cumulus' spot playing keys this time after singing for sunny .. cumulus had been forced to step back .. but her, sunny and aether took care of their beloved copia while this perpetua man took over .. he was funny. she liked him , but she missed the warmth of everybody more .. cirrus was like her mom now cumulus wasn't here .. the two air ghoulettes obsessed over her and tempest , really.

life wasn't as bad anymore , take away all the ickie dew and swiss behaviour and aurora felt free .. until they had a break to come home. her mental health was shit and the two did some things that she just .. blocked out. her eating slowly stopped , her brain became a reck but worst of all .. aurora had picked up self harming .. again. she did it after the first time dew touched her , just little ones. a few cat scratches to her arms where swiss wouldn't see .. but she got braver the longer it went on. her arms , thighs , even the sides of her body and stomach. her worst cut was probally to the back of her calf , a massive gaping would she healed all by herself.

aurora had fully shunned herself from every body again. just like she had in the early days of her summoning. she hadn't been eating anymore. only eating when getting called out on it .. which concerned alot of the ghouls in her pack. the touching never stopped. dew and swiss were just as gross because she still looked like she did as a teen .. later bloomer , runt , what else could go wrong. aurora had locked herself in her room , nest a mess of clothes , blankets , pillows and stuffed animals thrown around. her room smelt like burning firewood , cigarettes and leather. their scents. they lingered for too long .. but they had just came in to bully her.

"oh god , you haven't been eating , huh? trying to get the perfect look to make us feel better?"

"honestly , i don't think theres anything she can do , dew. shes pathetic enough , so why make herself worse?"

dew and swiss bursted into laughter after continuously laughing at auroras state. they didn't see the gaping open wound on the back of her calf , the most recent cut she had done with her claws. aurora lied about keeping them long and sharp for the aesthetic , but they were just to cut herself.

it stung , obviously. a fresh open wound down to the fat of her legs .. wasn't too deep actually. blood was dripping down onto her bedding , the scent of fresh blood lingered in the air , but it wasn't as strong as firewood , leather and cigarettes. it had been 10 minutes since she had cut and they had only been here for 5. she knew she had to fix the wound .. bandages and gauze were her friend after all.

"can you guys please leave me alone .. bug phant or somebody.."

"oh no baby girl , we wanna bug you. you're ours after all."

"awwh , little kit wants to be left alone , huh? how fucking sad is that .. can't even let her good .. good friends see her pathetic state .. how dissapointing."

"what if cumulus saw the state you're in? cirrus , phantom , tempest , rain , mountain , sunny , aether even .. i don't think they'd like a lazy , pathetic and disgusting little runt."

"dont .. dont tell them , please .."

auroras pleads went unheard of. dew and swiss walked out laughing like hyenas after doing terrible things to her. her heart was racing , obviously , she was terrified and felt like a child again .. a child who was fucked mentally.

little 11 year old aurora , laying in swiss' bed , naked and terrified .. little 11 year old aurora , picking up a razor for the first time and cutting so much .. little 11 year old aurora burging after being touched by dew .. little 11 year old aurora crying in her room , rope around her neck and ready to end it all ..

she had to do something , that was obvious. aurora knew she would regret everything , but she took a razor kept hidden away and sliced her thighs open. the pain was a feeling she had been chasing - it gave her something to feel. aurora didn't care about what happened , her calf was bleeding and so was her thigh .. more could be done though.

"look at you , aurora. a disgusting mess who self harms .. oh your just pathetic deep down .."

her mind kept playing tricks , right? she wasn't pathetic .. or .. well .. maybe she was. aurora slid her clothes off to cut more of her skin , slicing open her arms down to the fat - the easiest way for her. she gave a few cuts to her tummy , none as deep as the fat but enough to draw blood.

"if you keep cutting maybe somebody will love you. maybe they'll find your cut up , bleeding body and just be disgusted .. their little multi .. so sad .. yet so pathetic."

they didn't go away. they never did. no matter how many times she cut , they never left. aurora knew if she continued than people would be concerned .. so , she wrapped her body up in gauze where it was needed and tried to heal herself with quintessence .. it wasn't as good as mountain , but it would do for now. she slid a new hoodie on - one of cumulus' and a pair of rains sweatpants .. the scent of saltwater and fresh lavender filled her nose .. it was comforting but it felt wrong.

aurora slowly stepped out of her room , hoodie pulled over her head as she made her way down the corridors of the halls. her feet gently tapped against the floor , tail hanging lowly. she didn't know what time or day it was , but she had to eat or else she'd get yelled at .. the kitchen was nice , the only person in there was tempest.

"hey! you feeling okay? you kinda have a funny scent linger-"

"i'm fine. i dont really wanna talk about it."

"oh .. you sure? we're all here for you , wisp .."

"i'm fine , sparkle. just .. lets stop talking about it."

aurora dismissed tempest .. she felt horrible , though. she cared so much and all she could do was be angry .. god she fucked up. aurora grabbed the smallest portion she could fine and made a soup that she knew had no calories but would fill her up. hopefully tempest never saw ..

but she was wrong. tempest saw everything aurora had done. the smallest cup , the no cal broth. her eyes were wide and full of fear , her tail gently thumping against the counter as cirrus came in. cirrus was able to read rooms quickly - it was like her secret talent.

"tempest , honey? whats going on?"

"aurora- she-"

"dont you dare- no no no i thought you were gone??"

"aurora , whats going on .. please tell me you're not starving yourself again .."

auroras face dropped , skin pale and just looking absolutely terrified. she could only let out a small whimper of genuine pain and terror , not wanting tempest or cirrus to be the ones to get mad .. especially cirrus. she was terrifying when angry ..

"aurora .. wisp .."

cirrus' words were like a punch to auroras gut. she wanted to scream , to cry , to fight but she couldn't. aurora knew she had been caught , so she did what her body had to do .. break down crying. in the midst of her angry sobs , aurora began telling tempest and cirrus everything dew and swiss had done to her.

"dew and swiss started touching me when i was a kit and they've been doing it ever since and i dont know how to get them to stop and they just keep harassing me about everything and i'm cutting myself again and i just wish i could die , cir! i wish i could fucking die!"

the words came out as vomit , each sob leaving her body felt worse than the last. aurora knew she had to get it out fully , but she just couldn't. not with their words ringing in her ears.

"they told me how sexy i was and-and they touched me and groomed me and its still going on and they forced my eating disorder to get worse and i haven't fucking ate properly in god knows how long - and i'm just so tired of it all! i wish somebody in this clergy fucking liked me for who i am! not my body!"

"well .. well .. well .. look what the cat dragged in."

"exposing our secrets , huh kit?"

auroras heart sunk , face paler than before as vomit slowly creeped up. she watched swiss and dew walk in , tempest and cirrus immedietly coming to her defence.

"leave her alone you sick monsters. we've - well not you tempest - known aurora since she was a kit and you've done that? you're .."

"disgusting! vile! sick in the head! psychopaths! i thought you guys were cool .. now i know you're sick freaks who harm little girls for fun .. auroras more than what you say she is!"

"oh tempest .. you really have no clue what you're getting into , huh?"

"aurora is ours. not yours. not anybody elses. she belongs to us."

each word spoked in unison made the tension in the air even worse. auroras stomach grew uncomfortably tight in pain , her vision going fuzzy. she didn't know what was going on , she didn't know where she was or who she was with anymore .. her body had gone into fight or flight , and right now , it chose freeze and pass out.

auroras head hit the counter with a thud as she fell backwards , eyes shut. cirrus — luckily having fast reflex's — was able to catch aurora in her arms while tempest continued going off on the two men. she had never seen anybody so angry , especially not a new summon ..

"you two are probally the weakest fucking men i have ever met! i've been topside for a small ammount of time and yet you guys do this bullshit? unholy fuck. i thought i could trust you both , but clearly not. auroras passed out from you two. you guys are selfish , abusive , disgusting , misogynistic monsters. i dont understand how people like you! you're both the worst fucking people i have ever met .. you make me violently ill to my stomach. you fucking touched a girl who was new and underage! do you know how badly i wanna fucking cut both of your dicks off? how badly i wanna make you both feel the pain auroras felt for her entire time topside?"

"satanas tempest .."

"calm down a little yeah?"

"calm down? calm down! absolutely not! aurora is one of the sweetest girls i've ever met and you ruined her entire life with your selfish desires! you both are fucking monsters! grooming her for her entire life basically , touching her. you both need to be sent back to the pits where real damage would happen if word got out — which it shall. i dont take too kindly of a girl i see as a sister getting hurt."

"sparkle , yelling at them isn't going to do anything unfortunetly .. some men like these fucking disgusting creeps just never learn .. their mama didn't teach them the proper way to treat a girl , plus , they have sick perverted fantasies that they just have to get out. aurora will still be here with us , but i think for now we let her rest .. maybe she'll awaken with no memory of anything .. poor baby .."

oh the day had started out great. phantom had been exited for this specific arena ever since they found out about it , since , well , it was just fun! the fans were hype , dewdrop and his lil boot were just .. there and swiss? well , he didn't wanna talk about all that.. not before the show started.

phantom was just so focused on keeping his energy high , so high he didn't notice rain staring at him with .. lust in his eyes. was it lust? it didn't matter right now , but it would later .. maybe? the only thing phantom knew was he had to play acoustic guitar on stage aswell as rythem , to be good for papa this time around and to not be like dewdrop and hurt his body .. he could do that!

getting on stage just couldn't come fast enough - phantoms energy was infectious but rain was just focused on him and his pretty eyes .. the way they glimmered purple in the light , little sparkles in his pupils .. rain was entranced with the little quintessence , really. so much so that when papa had a longer talking session with the fans , he sat down and began to pose for the photographer who had came by - until phantom strutted down next to him .. not that he cared , obviously.

"you're an ass , y'know? sitting here with the camera in your face like some pretty princess .."

"well , come be a pretty 'princess' with me than , after all , the camera loves me today"

phantom knew rain could be a camera hog sometimes , he looked adorable in the nun habit after all , the way it flopped when he headbanged too hard .. it was great photo-ops really. perpetua was doing something on stage , not that phantom was paying attention to it fully .. he had been so focused on rains eyes ever since the show started ..

he strung his leg over his other , his free hand moving into a small fist as he elbowed rains guitar - oops. the way he was sitting really just made him look like a princess .. it was addicting.

"if you're gonna bang my guitar i'm gonna bang yours"

oh the eye contact rain made. phantom litterally felt his face heat up under the mask and balaclava. luckily since they were on stage their glamours were all up , but he knew if he had it down his tail would've been wagging like a lovestruck puppy.

"sorry .. sorry .. accident , y'know? now .. are we finally getting our photo?"

"look at the photographer , bug."

phantom let a small incoherant mumbe leave his lips as he turned to fully face the photographer. he heard - he swore he heard a small "good boy" from rains mouth but perpetua was talking about something too loudly .. god he was so lucky right now.

posing for the photo was the easy part , all they had to do was look like little bugs almost .. but after they left , it got worse. phantom knew rains eyes were on him. he could feel it. it wasn't an angry stare , no , it felt like one of lust. one that said so much with no words. almost like a cold drink on a hot day - very much needed and soothing for his mind.

god the eye contact rain made with phantom after the photo had fans screaming - screaming like never before. they were screaming like they just saw the best thing ever , which wasn't really true? all it was , was two grown ghouls making eye contact .. enough eye contact it made phantom stumble over his words.

"s-so what are we - what are you doing tonight - i mean we? huh? oh papas talking , we shou-"

"i think we should kiss , bug boy."

"HUH? KISS? RAIN-"

phantoms confusion was heard clearly on stage by everybody - including papa who had been talking to the audience ( who luckily didn't hear anything )

"you heard me. keep fumbling over your words and i'll have to kiss you , baby"

"i hope you shut up phantom .. you and rain can makeout later"

auroras mental communication was a sign for him to move away from rain , but the fact he was threatened with a kiss? oh the show had to end now .. tour bus , hotel , whatever. phantom needed rain and he needed him now.

"sorry .. sorry .. we're gonna stop .. for now."

"you're an asshole , phantom."

"just make out already you fucks! give them a show since i can't!"

somehow the show wasn't even over? phantom couldn't belive it .. but thanks for ghouls just having telepathical communication , nobody heard in the audience .. but somehow perpetua heard? was he part ghoul? maybe ..

Weren't you guys the ones that made posts about how fun the ghost fandom is because OF the ghouls. And drawing Swiss is so bad to the point of threatening people, leaving those comments on posts about SWISS, for what?... You can't even stick to what you preached over some unconfirmed accusations 😭

I can understand wanting to separate him from the man who plays as him on stage cause of the alligations but whitewashing a character that the fandom collectively drew as black and then praising these people cause they're 'separating them', do you know how racist that sound?

hi guys , more serious post here but i need to adress important things that have resurfaced amongst ghost ( tags are for reach and informing )

if u support jutty taylor as a person ( not the character ) pls don't follow me. the allegations against him are still a thing and as a victim of s/a myself , i will always belive the victim unless proven other wise. sending death threats to people isn't okay however .. i will forever seperate the people under the mask from their characters , so when i write my little fics and drabbles here , everything is about the character. not the people under the mask.

yes i do talk about aurora and princess liv ( the actor under the mask ) because i personally enjoy her music , is she a bad person? in my opinion i don't see anything that says she is , but seperate art from the artist no matter what. this is probally my only serious post , but again , please unfollow if you support the person under the mask , not the character.

those nights were the worst. waking up in a cold sweat with an ickie nightmare , having nobody around , a dark and cold , clammy room which just made everything worse .. aurora knew she had to find somebody before she slipped. she slid on her favourite little slippers , the ones she had ever since her first yule topside.

the world felt too heavy on auroras shoulders , thats how she knew she was slipping faster and faster - never a good sign for aurora. she slid out of her dark room and into the softly lit hallway of the ministrt. she didn't need to check the time to know it was late. aurora slowly waddled her way down to somebody she knew she could trust , hoping he was still awake .. phantom. her tiny fist knocked softly on the door - almost too quiet to be heard.

"yes? it- oh, sweet girl c'mere .."

as soon as phantom spoke , aurora let her tears flow. all it took was his voice to help push her into regressing fully. she wrapped her body around him tightly , tears silent but angry and just cried for a few minutes while he gently soothed her. words weren't exactly needed , his touch alone was more than enough for aurora.

"can you tell dada whats going on , little sparkle?"

"i-i had a nightmare where-where i was back in the pits and .. and it was bad dada- he-he hurt me!"

auroras voice was breaking with each word she forced out , her body trembling as her angry sobs reduced to nothing more than quiet whimpers and hiccups that wouldn't go away until she was fast asleep. not that phantom didn't mind however. he gently led her inside , a soft yellow glow filling her vision as he gently sat her down on the bed.

phantom didn't force aurora to speak as they sat beside eachother , he just gently rubbed her back , soothing words and petnames that made her tummy feel all fuzzy and silly left his lips. they always took it at her pace ..

"you're doing so well, wisp .. keep breathing , okay? squeeze my hand if you need to - just focus on dada right now .. he's not leaving baby"

aurora nodded softly at phantoms words before she looked down sadly. she tugged her pretty pink shorts up high enough where fresh self harm scars sat - a sign of her big brains mess of emotions and trauma. she knew she fucked up , and it was clear on his face.

"'m sorry dada .."

"oh sweet baby .. why didn't you come find dada?"

"was .. was scared dada hated m' a-and he didn't want m'rounds.."

"oh babygirl .. dada never wants you to hurt yourself out of fear or anxiety , okay? even if dadas fast asleep , come find me and i'll make all those ickie thoughts leave my princess' sweet lil brain like a good dada should."

"thanksies dada .. i-i .."

"dont make yourself sick by thinking about it honey , lets get your pacifier first and get some cuddles in before bed , yeah?"

aurora nodded softly as she watched phantom search around for a spare pacifier he kept for every little one who came by. hers was bedazzled with a small pink heart on it and the words 'moonbeam' written on the handle. it was actually sodo who made it with a regressed swiss .. the sweetest thing ever , really. the two worked hard on it and she cheriehed it - not as much as the one cirrus and cumulus bedazzled together however.

she slipped the pacifier in between her lips , suckling the little nipple softly as phantom wiped away her tears , holding her close. he helped her move down onto the pillows , spooning her while she got into a good position. he'd do whatever she needed , that was a rule phantom never let himself break. what aurora needed mattered so much than a silly problem like the dishes. she was his little snugglebug right now , and those nightmares didn't matter.

phantom gently played with auroras hair as she nuzzled into his chest , their scents mixed together to create an even more comforting atmosphere for her to fall asleep too , it paired well with his humming .. some random tune , but one that was nice.

"goodnight , my little moonbeam .. no more nightmares with dada around - and no more ickie monsters either .."

the times where they got to cuddle together was auroras favourite. just letting cumulus' soft body warm her up in her nest , soft purrs and little chirps filling the room. life was sweet for aurora when she and cumulus had their days together.

growing close during re-imperatour was the best , but knowing cumulus was staying behind wasn't. all aurora could do was welcome the new ghoulette with open arms while silently miss her love nightly .. but that was for later. right now , aurora was focused on cumulus and her sweet scent.

"im gonna miss this when your gone , lus .."

"oh sweet wisp .. i'll miss this more , but you know i'm a call away , yeah?"

every word spoken by the air ghoulette just shivers down her spine , they were so comforting and so full of love. moments like this were appreceated .. especially when it was just a big ol' pack cuddle pile .. but alone in her nest with her lover .. life was suddenly okay.

"i'll really miss you , lus. i-i can't make that even more clear .. i have the stuffie you gave me , but it needs to smell more like you .. it kinda smells like rain from last night-"

"well if it smells like rain then maybe you two shouldn't be cuddling it while doing .. your thing, silly one .."

aurora knew cumulus was teasing and it always made her feel better .. yet her body , her perfect body was what she needed. aurora had her face burried in cumulus' soft , plump tummy that just smelt like clean laundry .. it was her. her scent. nothing would take this moment away from her , ever. not tour , not the pack fights over nothing , not the jealousy , not anything.

"well, it wasn't my fault .. it was like you and cirrus on the tour bus last year .. i wanted to join in honestly .."

"oh sweet moonsparkle , we would've happily let you in if you didn't fall asleep so earl- aaand shes out .. goodnight , moonbeam .. sleep well"
