I'm sorry to announce that I'm going to take a break from writing. This year will be a busy one for me, due to my university work - I study sociology and there are a lot of statistics and projects that I'll be working on, that already occupied my schedule. I really tried to write in my free time, but my free time got so so chaotic and I need to focus on me, my well-being in order to be capable to give 110% in my research.

I'll be back, like I was after my first year of uni, and I'll start writing again. "one way ticket" is my entire soul at the moment, so it's not up to debate if I'll continue it or not. Do not worry, your requests will be full filled and your crazy girl will be back.

I'm gonna come back here whenever I can, but I cannot promise it'll be soon. I hope you guys understand and are willing to wait for me.

hello there people of tumblr! this is a post about what some ftm people prefer/feel most comfortable with, helpful if you have a ftm friend or partner. (some are relating to not being on t or not having surgery and some are in general)

don’t say things like “most trans people think ���” or “in general trans people like …, right?” this is putting them in a category they may not want to be in, such as saying “most trans people don’t like others touching their breasts, right?”. this may make them feel uncomfortable for feeling fine when people touch their chest, or make them feel different or abnormal for feeling fine about their chest.

if you ever happen to misgender them, especially in front of new people, there’s no need to make it a big deal. this happens sometimes when people knew the person in question before transitioning. a quick “oh, haha, i mean he/they/preferred pronoun!” with an apology in private afterwards will do, instead of making it a big deal. sometimes trans people can also feel a little bit unsafe around new people, and don’t want you going “oh my god, i’m so sorry, he! i mean he!” (example pronoun)

if the trans person in question experiences periods, don’t make it a big deal either. cuddle with them, buy them chocolate, and do whatever they want you to, but if they don’t feel comfortable, don’t refer to them as ‘periods’. the term, to some, can feel overly feminine. you can always ask what term their comfortable with! asking never hurts!

go over what they are comfortable with touching! for example, i’m fine with a partner touching my chest area, but touching between my legs is a bit more of a ‘bigger thing’ per se, something i would want to go over with before. obviously, everyone has their own preferences which is why it’s important to check!

some trans people struggle with not passing and not feeling as though they look enough like a guy. sometimes what helps are compliments, no matter whether their wearing their binder or just a sports bra, no matter whether they look like they just woke up. it helps build body confidence!
