Apparently it took six years but finally here's the reference sheets for all of my main characters from a story of mine. After Avery and Dahlia survive a massacre they form a little rebel nomad group with the others and take down the government who carried it out ✨

It's been years since I've continued this project of mine, but here's Remia! She has a name and a polished design, finally.

And with this the refsheets for my six main characters are finally ready! Now I'll just go back to those five other ones and fix them a little bit :'D

I started replaying Cyberpunk 2077 and wanted to try if I still knew how to draw Johnny and then I also doodled my new V because he's cute.

Avery and her family. Or: Avery before shit hit the fan.

First I just wanted to draw my OC Avery as a kid with her mom and then appeared the mom's dog, Avery as an adult with her dog, Avery as a kid again with Max and Tom: two cousins who grew up with her and are like brothers to her and them as adults. Just a little glimpse into her life before meeting Dahlia or any of the other characters from my story.

In my story project there's this military that follows the orders of the story's Big Bad™ and I realised I've never really drawn any proper art of how they'd look like. I've always had a vague idea what I'd like the unit what is basically their cavalry to look like though so I drew it first. They patrol around riding huge dogs so I took inspiration from horse riding and motorcycling gear. I've also always insisted that their uniform would be purple for whatever reason, so I kept that in too. The other one is basic infantry and/or what local "cops" would probably be like.

I had two more units figured and partly sketched too but then I lost interest for now so I'm posting these two on their own because who knows how long it'll take until I get back to designing the rest lmao.

And before anyone asks no I won't be taking crits at this time, these are just the very first passes of the designs where I'm trying to find the right vibe and aesthetics for them first and foremost.

I didn't make much finished pieces this year but oh well, atleast I got back into 3D a little bit and cooked up a couple of new characters!

I got an itch to prove to myself that I can make some simple stuff in Blender so I chose my OC Avery as my victim and went with an unshaded low poly style to keep it simple and quick(ish). UV's and weight painting is still hell for me but I pulled through and the end result seen here is something I'm quite satisfied with 💖 I'd still like to make animated face textures for her too...
