This blog will act as a space to collect memories and updates of this experience, and our submissions are open! Hey, I made a free “mapping application”, which is essentially a grid based tool, initially thought up to help map out dungeons in games such as Zelda, but I wondered if it would be helpful for D&D, maybe in the planning stage, or even for players? Unfortunately I’ve never played D&D because of a lack of willing friends, so I don’t know if it will actually be of any use, but I thought it was worth spreading the word! I’m also open to adding extra features that anyone suggests. Current features:  28x26 tile labelled grid Colour changing tiles A handful of drag and drop icons Save and load feature I’d appreciate any feedback, whether you think it’s fitting for D&D or not, thanks a lot!

Note: I have not used this tool myself and cannot vouch for it. Sharing on request from a follower. But I will say that using an excel-based tool for mapping is a sort of genius that hasn’t once crossed my mind and I am kicking myself for it.
