i’m probably on the asexual spectrum but i have a job so i can’t really worry about that right now
#/ref to that one tweet that said the same thing but about being non-binary#i’ve always kind of identified as demisexual but sometimes i wonder if that even really fits me or if it’s something else entirely#because like my sexual attraction is definitely deeply interconnected to my emotional attraction towards someone#but i also feel like i’ve been attracted to people i didn’t have a strong emotional bond with before#and not exactly infrequently either#i just know for sure i’m not like 100% asexual because i do experience attraction very often#it’s just the way i experience attraction that always seems to differ from the people in my life when i talk about it with them#i feel like for most of the people i know it’s this instinctual and kind of casual thing that just happens#and then for me it’s based on a million different emotional factors and the exact position of the sun in the sky#all of this could just be normal and i could just be overthinking like i do with everything in my life#but i’ve always just felt like the way i experience attraction is just so different from how people around me do#i don’t really even need a specific label to put on myself i just kinda wanna feel less weird about everything#em’s diary
