The wind caressing my skin

True beauty

They notice adoration when locking with my eyes.

They feel it when I cannot comprehend:

Why God gave me the gift to see

All his creations as beautiful as he.

For only they know my quiet pleas.

They sense my dark deep sorrows.

Of how heavenly moments on earth flee,

And how, for heaven, I wish to die tomorrow.

Girl of the night

Her hair just like midnight

With pretty pouty lips

Deep into the night she slips

There’s darkness in her eyes

And all the tears she cries

Become the stars in the night sky

In solitude she finds delight

With her mind full of wonder

Moon

Im in love with the moon

takes me far away

without having to move

and even when i do

it follows me wherever i go

protected under its glow

im in love with the moon

it makes me feel calm

within every storm

not knowing whats to come

yet feeling reassured

at night i feel its light wash over me

cleansing away my insecurities

and every night when i look up

im reminded of what im made of

Simply a reflection of the sun

the sun being my ego

it shows me a side of myself

thats vulnerable and for once true

a side hidden from every being

as if it were some big secret

ironically its not

but at the same time

who else is aware of my every thought?

Im in love with the moon

because i AM The Moon

creating peace within my storms

helping me accept my flaws

teaching me self-love

and calming all my thoughts
