I hope you have an awesome day and celebrate all day and into the weekend! You asked for a little nyotaimori/ nantaimori and I knew it was gonna be a challenge but it was a fun one. And now I want sushi 😂 I know sometimes the traditional set up is more ornate, with leaves draped over the body, but I think Crowley might go for a more minimalist style, and I’m sure Aziraphale wouldn’t mind seeing more of him while he eats 😂 Also side note I only this week (after drawing this) learned that it’s traditional to eat sushi with your hands and Aziraphale would know that, of course, but it was too late I already drew the chopsticks in his hand- sorry!

What’s your favourite line from good omens?

The invisible and unbreakable one that joins Crowley and Aziraphale.

I’m not saying I haven’t had my own bonkers ideas/meta/theories. But lately I’ve been seeing things that are borderline unhinged (mostly in regards to DT and MS rather than Good Omens, I’ll admit). I agree with both of these viewpoints, I think the initial reaction to the season was flooded by emotion and I think now we’re using more critical thinking but I think we’re desperate for more material and it becomes easier to want to see something that might not actually be there. This is of course my own unsolicited opinion.

In regards to my previously mentioned DT/MS theories. Boyyyyy howdy some of them are wild and I while I should probably block, it’s entertaining to read people’s parasocial madness.

I love how our thoughts, theories & metas on Good Omens have developed since GO2 came out.

The immediate theories were all very emotional, knee-jerk reaction type ones. Very well thought out, but thinking with hearts rather than heads.

Now that time has passed, I’ve seen a big change in the ‘angle’ of the theories. They’re more logic-based, more reasoned, less emotional.

We could all have studied 5 seconds of film close up months ago, but we weren’t in that headspace then. But we are now.

It shows that it’s worth it to have time go by to let a show sit & mature in your brain. To mull it over and chew on it. Formulate your own theories and thoughts and really sit with them. It requires time. And brainrot. So much brainrot.

If you send me an ask containing links to Good Omens fan fiction you think I should read, I'll delete it. Do it again and I'll (regretfully) block you. This is a general blanket sort of thing -- I don't want to read it, legally I can't read it, no I won't make it into the next series, and, no matter how pure your motives, it's crossing a line.
