might make this to an actual fanfic, but this is all for now.
peter parker x fem!stark oc
Ashley knew Peter had a press conference that evening, but she didn't come. She wanted to, but she just couldn't. Press and flashy cameras were the last things she needed. Questions about her father, her family, Nat and Steve.. It was all too much for her. She was just 21 years old. Just 21. Found new freaky powers. Just lost her dad. Barely getting by.
Ever since they died, Tony, Nat, and Steve.. Ashley felt like she lost her family. The Avengers were broken up again, all over the place, messy. At least when they were doing the time heist, they were back together, doing it together, winning together. And it was all gone.
Pepper. What a saint. She was still taking care of Ashley despite the fact she was now an adult who did not have any blood relations with her. She could Ashley go, throw her away. But she didn't. Pepper loved Ashley like she was her own, even if Tony wasn't around anymore.
The memorials, the murals, the tributes scattered around New York, the whole country, and even internationally always seemed to follow Ashley wherever she went. To remind her of the people she had lost.
Right now, she was sitting at the edge of a roof, a giant Iron Man mural behind her. Sometimes it made her sad, but sometimes it comforted her. Knowing that people appreciated the sacrifice her father made. And it was kind of like having him around her. Like he was still there beside her.
She looked at it, fought her tears from pouring out. Ashley crossed her legs and said, "Hey dad." Although she barely managed to not sob.
"So.." she continued. "Got these freaky powers. I wonder what you'd say about them. They're like Wanda's but in gold.. Kinda like it, don't know what to do with it though."
"But you would," she whispered. Even though the murals made her feel remotely closer to him, she still wished he was still there to give her advice and actually talk to her.
From a distance, Ashley saw a man in a red iron suit, slinging webs her way. He sat beside her, completely out of breath, and the helmet opened automatically, revealing Peter Benjamin Parker.
"Tough press?" Ashley asked as she took her flask, sipped some alcohol and offered it to Peter.
He politely rejected it. "No thanks, I might puke. I haven't quite built up my alcohol tolerance yet."
She nodded and put the flask aside.
"And the press.. Well.. It was a nightmare. Kept asking me if i'd be the next Iron Man–" he began to rant. "I left early. Just swung out."
"Oh, been there," Ashley nodded.
"Right?" said Peter, "I'm just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, I've never done stuff half as big as he did."
"Well.." she started, but Peter stopped her before she could even utter another word.
"No, no," he shook his head, and placed a finger over her lips. "Don't even start with the 'You went to space' crap."
Ashley chuckled. "Well, you did."
"I also died there, Ash."
"But you came back."
They held each other's gaze. Peter smiled, and looked down at her lips. He just wanted to keep her close, and kiss her, and–
"Just do it," she demanded, interrupting his thoughts. Like she knew what he was thinking about.
"What?" Peter asked, flustered.
"Just kiss me," she chuckled. "It's not like we haven't done it before."
And without warning, Ashley placed her hand behind his neck and pulled him towards her, and pressed her lips against his.
Pure bliss.
There was nothing better than this.
Peter made all the shit Ashley went through somewhat worth it. He made everything better.
And Peter had never had something so good in his life. Ashley was the best thing that could've happened to him. And we wanted to keep it, whatever their relationship was. He'd like to cherish it forever.
"I uh.." Peter stuttered.
Ashley chose not to tell him everything about her powers yet. She was still learning about them, getting to know them. And at the moment, she was not really in the mood to get back to those super hero gigs.
"Do you wanna go back to my place and have dinner with my mom and Morgan?" Ashley offered before Peter could comment about them, and their relationship.
Peter and Ashley kissed on the battlefield when they were fighting Thanos' army. When they reunited. Yes, Ashley cared about him. Madly. Probably in love. But for now, she needed time to heal herself and she wanted him to heal as well. So she figured that she liked the way things were right now with Peter. She would love to go further, but for now.. This was itm

a/n; whole lotta angst
OCTOBER 2023,
AFTER THE FUNERAL
Y/n sat there. At the dock in front of her house. She felt numb, weak. Her eyes were already dry, after crying for continuous hours – she couldn't think straight. She had never felt more lonely. She had never been sadder. He was gone.
Tony Stark was gone.
Her whole world – her best friend – the one person who was always there for her without any exceptions – her dad.
He was dead.
No one cared for her – protected her – loved her like he did. And Y/n didn't know what she'd do next – now that he wasn't there.
Her mom died ages ago, the minute she was even born, and now she had to watch her dad pass away.
Of course, she had a perfectly loving step mother and half sister, and she was forever thankful for Pepper and Morgan.
And she had Peter. He was finally back.
She was already friends with him before the blip – and before she could tell him how she felt, how much she liked him – he disappeared into dust.
And now that he was finally back – her dad had to go.
One thing she understood now is that she couldn't have everything. She couldn't have everything that she wanted at the same time.
One thing had to leave so the other could come.
Her toes were touching the cold water below her – just to feel something. The wind blew through her hair – as she watched the guests of the funeral leave one by one.
Soon, someone sat beside her. She felt a light tap on her shoulder – and looked over to see Peter. He had puffy eyes, tear stained cheeks, wearing a black tuxedo, and forced a smile at her.
Y/n didn't say anything. She just hugged him immediately and cried in his arms. He whispered comforting words – trying to calm her down.
"He would hate to see you cry like this, you know," Peter cooed, wiping away her tears – even though he himself was trying to hold back his own.
"It just feels," Y/n sobbed, barely forming words. "It just feels so weird knowing he's not here anymore."
"I know," Peter agreed, "I feel the same way." Y/n snuggled closer, and muffled, "He was the best dad ever,"
"I know, i know," once again, Peter agreed, "He wasn't even my dad, but it felt like it. It really did feel like i had a father."
He recalled every bits of moments that he had with Mr. Stark – and smiled to himself.
"Y/n," he called, placing a lock of her hair behind her ear, "You've got me now, and i promise i'll always be here,"
"I promise."
"Kid," Steve Rogers walked over towards them, patting Y/n's shoulder. He was always close with her – treated her like a niece. "I'm sorry," Steve continued.
She stared up at him for a few seconds– seeing Bucky Barnes standing behind him.
Y/n hated Bucky Barnes.
Pure hatred.
She still couldn't get over the fact that he killed her grandparents without mercy. Yes, he was brainwashed – but Y/n still couldn't accept that.
She grew up without her grandparents – her dad lost his parents, lost his dad before he could tell him that he actually cared.
And she blamed Bucky for it – even though it wasn't really his fault. He didn't want to kill them – he didn't kill them. He was just used to do the deed.
"Yeah," Y/n nodded, sniffling. She glared at Bucky, who had a look of guilt in his eyes.
Steve leaned closer to hug her – Y/n just froze as he did, staring at Bucky. She believed that he had no right to be at her father's funeral – to be standing there.
"Chin up," Steve whispered, "You are Y/n Stark, you can do anything." Somehow – Steve's reassuring words worked a little. "I know that you will find your way out of this – your pain is temporary, Y/n, remember that."
Steve soon let go of her, forcing a smile. And then Bucky stepped up – offered her his hand. She refused.
"Look, i know how you feel about me – and how your dad felt about me," Bucky started, "But i had no intentions on killing Howard and Maria, i promise."
Y/n looked away from him, crossed her arms.
"I'm sorry for your loss, so so sorry. Your dad was your everything, i know, i saw that," he continued, "And i sincerely apologize that the winter soldier killed your grandparents – but that's not me anymore."
She stayed silent – clenching her fists. She felt angry – sad – confused. Various emotions mixed at once.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Barnes, sir," Peter nervously spoke up, making Bucky turn to look at him.
Peter gulped as Bucky stared at him with a clenched jaw. But Peter puffed his chest and said, "With all due respect, i don't think now is the right time for you to speak to Y/n."
"You heard him," Y/n shrugged, walking away from the men – into her house. Peter followed behind, trying to catch up with her.
They reached the front porch, finding Happy and Morgan there. The little girl smiled as she tugged on Y/n's hand and said, "Me and Happy are going to get cheese burgers!"
Y/n's eyes started to tear up again – remembering how her dad absolutely loved cheese burgers. She looked up at Happy and he nodded, mouthing, "I know."
"Oh are you?" Y/n wiped her tears and kneeled down to Morgan's height, "That's exciting!"
"He said daddy liked cheese burgers," Morgan whispered to her sister. Y/n's lips twitched into a smile. She tapped Morgan's nose and replied, "He loved them."
"Do you guys want cheese burgers?" Morgan looked up, asking Peter and her sister. Peter nodded, "Sure, we'd love some!" Y/n stood up, and said to Morgan, "Bring us back the most delicious cheese burgers, okay?"
"Y/n," Happy called.
"Yeah?"
He hugged her, and whispered, "Everything will be okay, all of this will go away soon."
"I just wish he was still here," Y/n sobbed. Happy agreed, "I do too."
They broke the hug, and Y/n smiled at her sister, giving her a little wave. She looked over at Peter and told him, "I'll be in my room."
Peter noticed Happy giving him a look – like he wanted to talk. So Peter just nodded at Y/n and told her he'd catch up, "Be there in a minute."
"Peter, she clearly needs your company right now," Happy told him, placing a hand on his shoulder, "And Tony trusted you to protect her – be there for her."
"So please, take care of her for him," he added "I will," Peter nodded in agreement, "Don't worry, Happy, i sure will."
"Okay," he patted Peter's back, before he took Morgan's hand and led her out, "Let's go Morgan."
"Bye bye, Peter!" The little girl waved away, and Peter smiled, waving back, watching her walk away, "See you later, Morgan."
Peter entered the Starks cabin, looking around the living room. He soon noticed the family portraits on the wall, some trophies, medals, badges, and there were even his pictures. It looked very homely – very comfortable.
Struggling to find Y/n's bedroom, he found Pepper sitting on the sofa. Slowly approaching her, he politely asked, "Mrs. Stark, i'm sorry, could you tell me where Y/n's room is?"
Pepper wiped her tears, looking up at Peter with red eyes. She sniffled, and pointed towards the staircase, "Upstairs, first door on the left, kid."
Peter smiled, "Thank you." As he was about to walk up, Pepper stopped him. "Peter," she called, standing up, "Thank you for being here for her, it's what Tony wanted."
He nodded, "Of course."
He followed her directions – walked upstairs and knocked on the first door to the left. Peter heard Y/n say, "Come in," from her room, so he turned the doorknob and pushed it open.
"Hey there," Peter greeted as he entered the room – he looked around and found a lot of pictures of him – posters of Spiderman – and pictures of him and Y/n together, "Woah, you have a lot of my pictures."
"Can you really blame me? I missed you," Y/n confessed, as Peter sat beside her on her bed, "You were gone for five years."
They stared at each other – both recalling their lives before the blip. Partners in being neighborhood heroes – friends – best friends.
Y/n sure did miss Peter. He was her first friend, a friend who was her age anyway. They did everything together. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, they were always with each other.
It had been a rough 5 years for Y/n, living without him, haunted by the feeling of guilt, feeling like she could've saved him, feeling like it should've been her instead.
She was supposed to be happy that he was finally back – but she couldn't. Not when her dad wasn't there.
"You don't have to miss me anymore," Peter smiled, slinging his arm around Y/n, "I'll never leave you again."
"Don't make promises, Peter," Y/n said, "Hard to keep 'em. Especially in the world that we live in."
Peter chuckled,
"I'll try my best."

be yourself | regulus black
summary; regulus is insecure about himself, and wishes he'd fit to sirius' standards and be closer with his brother. and of course the lovely y/n comforts him.
pairing; regulus black x reader
Regulus woke up at about 10 in the morning, but stayed in bed until 12. He saw Y/n beside him, sleeping peacefully.
He smiled, brushing strands of her hair away from her face quietly, trying his best not to wake her up.
He knew Y/n because she was friends with Sirius. She was, before ultimately choosing Regulus over their friendship.
He adored her so much – Regulus truly did think that Y/n was an angel sent for him. A guardian angel.
He was forever thankful for her, and couldn't begin to think how lucky he was.
But despite his joy with the love of his life, one thing seemed to always be bothering Regulus.
It was his brother and how distant they were. It didn't even feel like they knew each other anymore – they were just strangers who happened to share a surname. And well – parents.
He was convinced Sirius hated him. Because if he didn't, he would've at least walk up to Regulus and start a casual conversation, ask him how he was doing.
That was all that Regulus wanted, but it never happened.
Y/n shuffled around the bed before finally waking up – seeing the upset look on Regulus' face. She couldn't bear it.
"Darling," she spoke softly, "What's wrong?"
The sunlight shone on them through the glass window as Y/n sat up – placing her hand on Regulus' shoulder.
"My brother hates me," he gulped, avoiding eye contact with Y/n. But she could sense his sadness. "I just wish i could be how he wants me to be."
"Your brother does not hate you, Regulus," Y/n reassured, placing her hand on his cheek. "He loves you, you know he does."
Regulus clicked his tounge – chuckling. "Does he though?" he said – turning to look at Y/n. She saw that his eyes were red – teary. "I'm not good enough for him. If i was more like James Potter then i'm sure he'd–"
"Look, you don't need to be anyone else," she reassured. Y/n gave a lot of thought to this next phrase, but she definitely needed to say it.
"I love you for you."
That was the first time she'd ever said that to him.
Regulus grinned wide – "I love you for you too," he replied.
"Just be yourself, okay? And if Sirius isn't smart enough to see how great you are, then that's on him."
Regulus smiled and nodded. He never truly admired anyone like he admired Y/n. No one had ever been there for him except her.

soon enough | harry potter x reader
summary; harry and y/n had a summer fling, but then he got with cho once school started.
a/n; hey!! i usually write on wattpad and am clueless about tumblr but here we are. enjoy my first oneshot :)
He started to walk closer to her – and she felt her heart racing.
Y/n didn't know what this means now with his newly found romance with Cho Chang.
She fell for Harry – hard. It enraged inside that she didn't confess it sooner – and by the time she plucked up the courage to tell him, he got a brand new beautiful and kind girlfriend.
Y/n envied Cho, truly. Pretty face, pretty boyfriend, quidditch player – Cho was everything Y/n had ever wanted to be.
But Harry deserved that – deserved the kind of girl that she wasn't, deserved the better person.
"I broke up with Cho," Harry blurted out.
Y/n was of course taken aback. She hadn't expected this news to come to her ears, no. Cho and Harry looked perfect together. Happy, like she always wanted him to be.
She didn't know what to say, words didn't fall out of her mouth. Her brain wondered and travelled everywhere, trying to find the right thing to say.
But nothing came to mind.
She just stood there, silent, frozen, looking at him with wide eyes.
Harry pushed his glasses closer to his eyes – due to nervousness.
He was expecting her to say something, ask why, at least. But she was mute. Nothing.
"I realized that i couldn't be with her," he gulped. He feared that Y/n wouldn't react well, and he'd lose her forever.
But he definitely had to get this out of his chest. It was a rough month for him too, trying to convince himself that he loved Cho and no one else. Not Y/n.
But like every plan regarding romance, that failed miserably. And he couldn't keep lying to himself – no – he couldn't take it.
Harry couldn't stand the fact that he wasn't telling the girl standing before him how great she was, how much she meant to him, and how much she inspired him to just – move forward even when everything fell apart.
So he had to tell her right here, right now.
"I love you," he finally confessed, "And i am so so sorry that i didn't do this soon enough."
In shock, Y/n just stared. She couldn't form words – she couldn't.
"I've beaten myself up everyday since you left because i didn't tell you how i really feel about you," Harry continued, eyes getting red.
"And i'm sorry – you are a wonderful human being and you mean the world to me, even when everything just –" he pauses to collect himself, holding back his tears from falling.
Harry took a deep breath, and carried on.
"Even when everything falls apart you still manage to keep me whole."
He finally said it. Harry inhales sharply, and his lips formed a smile.
"You're the only one that keeps me going," he said, "And i love you."
Y/n sighed – looked right into his eyes, and her gaze fell down to his lips.
Without thinking, Y/n cupped Harry's face and kissed him.
It felt wonderful for the both of them, finally doing what they had been dying to do.
