wishlist edenfall on steam now!

hi rotterlings! it’s been a little while, but i hope you’ve been keeping well (and i hope that your playthrough of seraphim slum was everything you dreamt of!)

i'm so excited to announce that edenfall, our prequel-slash-sequel to seraphim slum is now live on steam. you can wishlist the game now!

as a refresher, this is what edenfall is all about:

You're Eden, an eldritch thing. You're in love with your angel Ezekiel. But Ezekiel is enamoured by the slum she is damned to and the angels stagnating in it.

She wants the slum angels to fall. You would do anything to help her. But she wants you, eldritch thing you are, to swallow up the slum as she dallies with its angels. She wants you away from her, wants to love something that is not you.

And that just can't do.

You must make Ezekiel love you. You must tell Ezekiel you love her. You may be a mass of vines and branches but you have a confession to make.

Somehow, you must find a way.

(Parchments, radios, songs… something pulsing alive. Ezekiel must hear it.)

seraphim slum is a reverse hanahaki story.

what i love about Seraphim Slum is how it's a reverse hanahaki story. throughout the game you're seeing Ezekiel hack up flowers, you think it's cause of one of her girls. Macy, Salxire, Oriel, Ezekiel's love is unrequited and desperate and obsessive.

But Then. you realise. no, the plants aren't killing Ezekiel. they're growing out of her. her skin's dirt and sow to a garden. the plants aren't eating Ezekiel alive, they ARE her. tumbling out of her body and crawling out. they're inside of her, not to taunt her cause of a lack of love. but because, wrapped around her ribcage and heart-bones, that's how the plants show their love.

Seraphim Slum isn't an unrequited love story, it's a requited romance between Ezekiel, also known as Lucifer, and Her Eden

I played through Seraphim Slum! The voice acting is really nice and the art is beautiful! This VN has some uncanny vibes, very atmospheric. I love corrupt gayngels. Second best VN about lesbian angels I've read all week.

Seraphim Slum: Definitive Edition is live on Steam!

hi rotterlings! i'm so excited to announce that, after lots of blood, sweat and tears of testing and bug-killing, seraphim slum: the definitive edition is now out on steam! it's been a long time coming and i hope that you all enjoy the game and all of the love that my team and i have poured into it.

as a refresher, here is what our definitive edition offers!

esoteric and poetic musings on philosophy and autonomy…

edenfall launch! an angel and her darling eldritch approaches...

hello fellow rotten angels! welcome, once again, to the slums… this time, though, instead of playing as that deranged angel ezekiel, you'll be inhabiting eden, the eldritch within ezekiel that loves her… a little too much.

edenfall is brought to you by a few familiar faces: josh carlat leads the game's development once again, carefully creating those crash screens and creepy text we know all too well. lorraine wong brings to you the liminal soundtrack and the slum's incomprehensible echoes. lauren kong reprises her role as ezekiel, giddy and manic and loving. juicydev ensures the eerie writing and gameplay hits just the right note, like a perfectly brewed cup of grass tea. our anonymous artist returns with their renaissance-esque renderings of the slum's angels, gorgeous and haunting. we're joined by clockworkjoker, who illustrates the slum angel's sprites with the twist of their personal style, and binaryheartgames, who delivers eden's slum devourings with green verve. and of course, i return with directing and writing this next instalment of ezekiel (and eden's) descent into the slums.

i am excited to present you with day 1 to day 4 (with a sprinkling of day 5) of edenfall. although edenfall is not complete, as the full game is intended to be 7 days long, we intend on finishing the game around june 2024 and have a steam released planned in the near future: do look out for that!
