give me all ur murder mystery writing tips
things im struggling on: who is the killer? what is their motive? how do i make it not obvious?
im trying to write a murder mystery book that connects the past to the present---basically what happens is there's this school, something bad (murder) happened in the past (wayyy back, like the 1890s) and something bad's happening NOW
i dont want it to be paranormal, or secret society bc i feel that's been done thousands of times
so any and all tips u guys have would be appreciated bc im about to rip my hair out lol
