What got you into Star Wars?

Ooooo I love this question. I think it started with my parents. They were the generation with the original 3 and they loved it (it helps that mama LOVES Harrison Ford). I think I made it more my own when I binged the originals as a teen and just fell in love with it all over. The world and the story was so amazing and interesting I just had to know more!

Absolutely love the sequels, I have issues with the prequels but I can definitely appreciate their place in the story.

Also Leia is a badass

Vigorously, you continued to wipe your face with your hands. You had been crying for hours now and you were surprised you still had it in you to continue. Not that you wanted to keep crying. You’d much rather fall asleep and wait until the nightmare was over. Anything to stop the annoying stuff leaking from your face and your body from shaking.

You curled in slightly. Why did this have to be happening?

“Y/N?” a voice called from the other side of your door.

You somewhat froze. You knew who it was, and that didn’t bother you, but the tone was...different.

“Kylo?” you queried. “Yeah,” he replied just as softly, “Everything alright?”

You rose to your feet and opened your door. He was mask-less as well.

He met your gaze and immediately grew concerned. Your eyes were red from obvious crying and your voice had been hoarse. Without thinking, he pulled you into his chest.

The surprise of it all kept you from sobbing even further. However, you did dig your face into his chest. You figured he already knew what you were crying about. But he didn’t seem to mention it because he was quick to pick you up and close your door behind him.

Gently, he found a position on your bed where you were in his lap, but you were also comfortable. He rubbed a hand up and down your back, placing a kiss on your temple...which, had you not been in need of comfort, you might’ve paid a little more attention to.

“Parents...” he started, “they’re people too. And they make mistakes; just like everyone else.” He moved his hand to your head, stroking your hair. “I know they still love you, but they’re in the middle of figuring things out all over again. They’re not perfect, but they love you. And it’s not your fault.” You nodded, leaning further into him. “I know.” “You aren’t them, Y/N,” he added, “Just because their relationship failed doesn’t mean yours will. You’re wonderful and amazing and have a good head on your shoulders. You’re not them.” “How can you be sure?” you mumbled. “Because you managed to make me fall in love with you,” he whispered with a smile, “And I don’t generally like people.” You chuckled, though still a little stunned. “You don’t like stupid people.” He snickered. “My point still stands.” He kissed your temple again. “Your parents’s problems don’t define who you are...you define yourself, Y/N.”

The room fell quiet, your crying having finally slowed. Your grip on Kylo was tight. Though you still felt awful about your parents, you had been more than thankful for Kylo helping you...and sort of confessing his feelings for you. You leaned into him again.

“I love you too...and thank you.”

“Leia, Leia no!” you lightly directed as you noticed Luke being slightly lifted off the ground. “But you said I can pick anything,” the little girl protested. Luke giggled, throwing his hands up. “You picked me!” You heard your husband, Anakin, laugh. “She sure did. That means she loves you thiiiiiiiis much!” Luke turned his eyes to Leia. “Really?” She nodded. “’Course, dum-dum.”

You smiled softly while the twins hugged each other. Quickly, you turned and gave Anakin a kiss, thankful for him and your children.

“Your turn to try and teach them,” you murmured. Anakin beamed and laughed. “Alright.” He gave you another kiss. “I’m sure it’ll be easy since you’ve done so well.” You giggled. “You flirt.” “Only with you.”

He turned his attention to the twins. He clapped his hands and rubbed them together.

“Alright. Who wants to try and lift 3PO with the Force?” “MEEEEEE!” they cheered in unison.

Your eyes widened. That wasn’t going to end well.

Vick sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose. “This isn’t going to work.” “What isn’t?” Carlton queried, “The puppy’s already asleep. I think it’s working quite well-” “Not that Carlton,” she paused again, “Your partnership with Y/N.” He felt his heart stutter a bit. “What? Why not? She’s doing great!” “She does everything you say,” Gus butted in, scratching the dog’s stomach a little. “Yeah,” Shawn agreed, “Gus doesn’t even do that for me and we’re partners AND best friends.” “Exactly,” Vick continued, “This is supposed to be a learning experience for her. She can’t keep depending on your for everything.” Carlton rolled his eyes. “And these two clowns don’t?” “I’d be angry, but I’m surrounded by puppy smell,” Shawn rebutted.

Before anyone else could continue, Y/N knocked on the Chief’s door before letting herself in.

“Hey Lassiter, I just talked to our coroner--weirdly nice dude--and had him screen for a few more poisons. The coloring on the lips bothered me a bit; I hope you don’t mind.” Carlton smirked. “Not at all.” “Oh! And I just finished talking to the widow, since she stopped by, and she had a few interesting things to say about their neighbor’s maid, so I’m going to go talk with him. I’ll pick you up some coffee on my way back, if you’re still busy with the chief.”

The detective smiled at the woman in charge. A little bit smugly, sure, but smiled all the same. Vick pursed her lips, pushing away a smile of her own, before shaking her head.

“I’m all done with your partner, Y/N.” She began to shoo him away. “But leave the puppy with McNab.” “Roger that,” she beamed.

Maybe she had been worried for no reason.

You hissed as you sunk beneath the shivering layer that was your bath. It was followed by a tension-releasing sigh as the cold gave way to soothing. You felt each and every bruise throbbing while leaning your head against the tub.

“Everythin’ alright in there, love?” Eggsy called from the room. “Sooooo niiiiiice,” you drawled. Your boyfriend peaked his head into the room with a smirk. “Thought you had everything handled.” “Shove off,” you rebutted with a smirk, “I’m not all muscle-y and impervious to other people’s fists.” He chuckled. “Haven’t seen me with my shirt off quite yet.”

Deciding not to respond, you closed your eyes. You heard your boyfriend clambering around, presumably taking off his shirt, the room. You heard him walk into the bathroom. You opened an eye to see him placing a stool on the ground.

“What’re ya doing?”

Without answering, he pulled your arm that was closest to him and placed it on the side of the tub. He smirked.

“Hafta raise it; eases the blood flow.” You thought a moment. Shrugging, you said, “Right then. Get on with the pampering.”

He chuckled before kissing your hand.

“Anythin’ for you, love.”

“Okoye!” you called out, happy to see someone you recognized. “Y/N,” she called back, “Still walking, I see.” “Just barely,” you teased.

Though winded, you started jogging over to the warrior. Your weary smiled widened ever so slightly when you saw your King, your love, heading toward the two of you as well.

“Are you well, Y/N?” he called. You smirked. “As well as Wakanda.” He chuckled before turning his outstretched hand to his warrior and friend. “Come. This is no place to die.”

Okoye gripped his arm, letting him pull her up. Just as suddenly, she was falling back. Her King disintegrating right before her and you. 

Your heart stopped, halting your feet as well. As though not realizing he was disappearing, T’Challa turned to you with a smile before it flew away and into the wind. Just as he did, your scream went with him as you fell to your knees.

Your King, your friend, your love...was gone.

“Expulso!” Harry yelled, throwing another spell at one of the many demons. 

In the middle of the explosion, Harry ran from his spot and over to Ron. He glanced across the way to see Hermione and Y/N staying low. The brunette hopped up and sent forceful smoke from her wand. Hermione turned toward the younger Potter and nodded.

“Go; we’ll keep them distracted.” Y/N nodded. “I’ll make it quick...watch my brother for me.” She chuckled. “Of course.” “Flipendo Tria!” Ron shouted, further distracting the demons.

Y/N quickly sprinted away from the action with her wand raised. They had yet to see Asmodeus and she was hyper aware of that.

Within moments, she arrived to an area with a couple cells. Almost like eye shine on an animal in the dark, she saw Gabriel’s eyes light up a little. As much as she wanted to sprint over and get him out of there, she held up her wand.

“Revelio,” she whispered before a “Lumos.”

The area was lit but nothing changed. Her hesitancy bloomed into happiness. She rushed toward the cell.

“Gabe!” She latched onto the bars, noticing how he looked. She tightened her grip. “What did that bastard do to you?”

She reached out a hand while whispering, “Alohamora...Come on, love. I’m getting you out of here.”

His shaky hand gripped onto hers before launching into her arms. He was home.
