Ok so I've hardly seen any fics that mention any family for the LI's in Love & Deepspace fanfics. Like, Why? For Caleb it is understandable but for others? Like Hear me out here.

Xavier gives the whole effortless perfect older brother to a younger sister with high levels of overprotectiveness vibes.

Zayne gives the socially awkward only child of well established and slightly eccentric doctor parents vibe.

Rafayel gives strong spoiled youngest brother in a houseful of women vibe, atleast 3 older sisters, and I believe that sirens or mermaids are matriarchal so he has that respect for women, etc.

Sylus gives really really strong little shit younger brother to an older sister vibe, like that attitude? Perfected from over 29 years of being a little shit to his sister.

Please note first thing that i do not mean to offend anyone by this, and I am not saying that the explanation you gave is wrong or you shouldn't have. Because it kinda gave me a closure that no matter what, Tony couldn't be alive in the canon.

Though, this is for those who might speak bad about this post and do what not.

This is a analysis of another MCU fan. They have given us closure that Dr. Anthony Howard Stark/ Tony Stark/ Iron Man couldn't have lived in the canon, no matter what.

However this fact, does not deter fanfic, drabble, headcanon, etc. Writers from writing fanfics about him being alive. This in actuality gives more details to write in the fanfic. In a way, more challenges to how he could have lived, etc, to write in the fic. What sort of technology is helping him? Is he able to make a full recovery through futuristic wakandan technology or is he bedridden? Is he fully coherent or is he in a vegetative state?

How Tony Died

Most people think that the only parts of Tony's body that were damaged by the snap were his right arm, the right side of his neck and face. Rarely they include the entire right side of his body, and ficwriters/artists sometimes make him blind in one eye. Some remember that internal organs exist and include them in the list. But in fact it's still far from complete.

Burns

In the screenshots we can notice the following:

The energy from the Infinity Stones penetrates under the armor, under Tony's skin, leaving behind third- and fourth-degree burns. Armor does not affect its ability to spread, and therefore its ability to cause harm to the body.

Its "hands" reached from his right arm to his head and went further, to his left shoulder and arm, down to his chest and abdomen, and behind - to his back, cutting through his armor like butter.

In the screenshot below, we can see that some of the damage to the armor was repaired by nanoparticles, but they were unable to repair the damage to his body. We can also see how extensive the damage is to the left shoulder of the suit. Imagine what was underneath.

The armor on his legs was not damaged by the energy, but that doesn't matter because of the next point.

In the scene, we see steam coming out of the armor as the energy spreads, and the surrounding air becomes distorted. After the snap, at 2:32:00 we can even see smoke coming out of Tony's armor. The stones heated the armor to the melting point. The whole suit turned into the brazen bull. Everything inside was cooked and charred. The only areas that were untouched were those that were not covered by armor: the left side of Tony's face and left hand. Tony had burns all over his body, not just on the right side.

No one who touched Tony in this scene took off their gloves because the armor was too hot to touch with bare hands.

Shock

Due to deep burns that destroyed Tony's skin, nerves and blood vessels, he instantly lost a huge amount of blood through the surface of his entire body and went into burn shock. This is why he could not focus on the people around him (decreased alertness) and the visible parts of his skin were deathly pale.

Radiation

The Stones exposed Tony to millions of lethal doses of gamma radiation. His suit couldn't stop it. Everything under the armor was burned, and every cell in the body was damaged by radiation (acute radiation syndrome). All of his internal organs failed and he suffered internal bleeding. Due to this and burn shock, he died within minutes.

Even if he were somehow stabilized and put on life support, the radiation damage to his cells would soon destroy his body through cellular degradation.
