So I have seen two headcanons about Penelope in The Odyssey/Epic The Musical. One is where she strings the bow herself and has perfect aim (think Merida from Brave) and dominates the competition herself. The other is where she stands at the end of the axes, becoming the target herself as an act of defiance. So might I propose

Lily is the one who would would string the bow herself.

Regulus is the one who would stand as a target.

Both of them with one final act of defiance because neither one of them would go down without a fight.

If you can't tell, Epic and the Marauders have once again filled my every waking thought and feeling.

Ok so I posted this not too long ago and since then I have decided to add more characters and switch a couple things around and I desperately need/want critiques and ideas and constructive criticism because I'm thinking about expanding said universe in terms of the Marauders and have started drawing ideas out so here is the current recasting.

So I finally got around to listening to the the completed concept album of Epic: The Musical and it is now my new hyper fixation. And because I can't do anything even sort of normally I have created a Marauders recast of Epic. So y'know, here's this thing that no one asked for.

Odysseus: James Potter

Now While I think James is just so suited for the role of Odysseus, I tried to fit both Jegulus and Jily into this fancast, however, the roles of Calypso and Penelope with Regulus and Lily. Long story short, James would be the one so completely in love with his partner whether it's Regulus or Lily and would travel across vast oceans to get back to them.

Also as always Danny Motta hits the nail on the head with these reaction videos.

"Why was there something lowkey kind of hot about the way Odysseus poured wine into the Cyclops' gaping vagina mouth?" My thoughts exactly.

You all know as well as I do that Sirius Black wanted a big ass funeral/rave to celebrate his life when he died and had the most unhinged funeral playlist to go with it.

And I have taken the liberty of creating it and figured I'd share it with y'all.

If y'all can think of any additions to the playlist let me know!

He definitely wanted people to mourn and be sad (cause he's the little attention seeking whore that he is) but he also would want a celebration of life and not his death.

He also made sure there was a sizeable fund set aside for said funeral (one could never be too careful when you're living through a war) Funds to pay for an open bar and DJ and loads of drugs

Mission: Impossible Final Reckoning

So because I'm a massive fucking nerd, you know I was first in line opening day of Final Reckoning after growing up my entire life loving the other seven Mission: Impossible movies. (other than the second of course. But no one likes the second. and if you do, I applaud you) and it left me with a lot of feelings so I'm gonna talk about it.

OBVIOUS SPOILER WARNINGS!!!!!

So um first of all... WHAT THE FUCK!?!?!?!?

I started sobbing immediately when the movie started and the montage of all the films started playing. Like that was so rude of them to do. I grew up watching the films since I first opened my eyes. And it was family tradition for each of my siblings and I to go to a showing with my father on opening day. (he would end up seeing each film like four or five times in one day) and because it has held such an important place in my heart so it hurts my heart and soul that this might be the final installment of the franchise.

Why did Luther have to die? Like I am personally offended by that. And how fucking dare you put Benji on death's door. I was legit gonna leave the theater if Benji died too just because I wouldn't be able handle the sadness.

The stunts were unmatched in this movie and I was feeling anxious just because claustrophobia and and being high up in the air and under water had me on the edge of my seat the entire time.

Then comes the message at the end of the movie... I was made fun of for crying as hard as I did and walking home was a chore. Was it because of the rain or my tears? I guess we'll never know.

At the end of the day, this is one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. Were there times when the movie fell flat and there was weird pacing? Yes. But it kinda worked better that way. The acting was unmatched and the plot was great.

“It’s because you can’t sing worth shite, mate.” Sirius laughed. “And you didn’t even try out. That’s what happens. If you don’t try out, you don’t get a part. And besides, girls are gross, so you’ve dodged a bullet.” 

“That is very true.” Peter agreed.

“Lily is very kind but she can do better.” Remus pointed out. 

“I know.” James seemed resigned to his fate for only like three seconds. “But I will make her like me, I promise. And I will marry her. And we will live happily ever after.” 

“What happens if she doesn’t marry you?” 

“Well then I’ll just marry Sirius or something. He’s like my best friend so it only makes sense. We could have sleepovers everyday and eat ice cream for dinner.” James said matter of fact. “But then it would be a very messy divorce. I’ll get the kids and he’ll get the house.” 

“Wait,” Sirius interjected. “Why do you get the kids? What if I want the kids?” 

“But you hate kids. That’s why I’m taking the kids.” Sirius held the portrait open as the four filed into the common room. 

“That’s very true. Well we better have a big house, and I’m coming for your quidditch brooms as well. And the summer home as well.” 

“Well then I get the fall home and the winter home then.”

Ok I love the idea of Conan Gray being a Sirius Black variant. It really is great.

Might I propose a Remus Lupin variant along the same lines because I haven't really seen very many music variants of this character.

I propose Ren Gill be one of the many Remus Lupin variants. Ren is a Welsh singer-songwriter and I think he would be just perfect.

Going off of the vibes of the music along with Ren's own life, it does seem to make a lot of sense that he would be very similar to Remus Lupin

sirius desperate to have double dates with remus and completely clueless about why. all he knows is that if he's having a date, moony is having one too. it goes like this:

sirius' date: can you get me a chocolate milkshake?

sirius' date, smiling at him from across the table: so, what do you wanna do after school?

sirius, looking at remus: what are we doing after school? maybe getting a place of our own. just us guys, you know.

remus' date: it's so cold, remus. can I borrow your jacket?

sirius, laughing in disbelief: don't you know he has cold hands? he can't lend you his clothes, he'll freeze to death.
