Hollaaaa.

Let's talk about Fong. The man, the myth, the legend. Fong is the one who physically barred Sarawat from Tine as he was dragged off and he was the one who covered Tine's eyes when Sarawat was engaging in the free strip show. These seem like innocuous incidents. Much like Fong pointing out that Wat had shared photos on his IG.

But this man knows.

He says to Tine he'll have to post a confession as per the bet. Tine says it's a joke and Fong's reaction is like 'is it?' His whole body language says, 'it can be a joke, or you can be serious and say you like this guy.' They have the metaphor convo where Wat is a blue drink and Tine isn't even thinking about it as he stares at an overwhelmed Sarawat wishing he was anywhere else.

But Fong. My boy. My squad. Shares the deepest info later.

Tine used to take care of his ex. To care for someone you have to give something of yourself. The underlying meaning here is that Tine was probably in a very one-sided relationship where his efforts were either not appreciated or he was taken advantage of. This boy's self esteem is rock bottom and that doesn't happen overnight. Someone out there diminished our sweet boy's light and that's why Fong was hesitant about Wat. He saw someone taking advantage of Tine again and he was like, I think not. #friendgoals

It also feeds into what Fong said about if Tine fails he might pull away from ever having a relationship with Wat. Tine puts up a front that if he gets together with Wat, his friends will never let him hear the end of it. Sorry babe, but bish who? Your friends are out here supporting your confused ass while you try to hide (badly) that you're crushing on a sexy singer.

Tine is terrified of this becoming a thing. Why? Clearly it's not an attraction issue. He's very clearly attracted to Wat. He's terrified of the relationship element and of not being enough. Fong tells Wat this so that he can pace himself at Tine's speed. It's the first genuine confirmation Wat has had to encourage him to pursue Tine (Tine's 'win the next game' notwithstanding). He finally has Fong's approval to take care of his friend because he believes that Wat will build Tine up rather than tear him down.

Fong is giving them both a helpful shove but still respecting their burgeoning relationship and their ability to make their own decisions. He's cutting through the bullshit because they can't seem to. We stan such a high class friend.
