Hi! I know what voice you're talking about and it seems like it really sucks. I know when I can't talk..that means it's also pretty painful too. Which is once again so awful and I'm sorry for the horrible timing! Oh that seems fun but it sucks that you're not seeing a show, and it sounds like a nice tradition. If it makes you feel better, I don't have any plans to see any shows either. I mean I probably will see one eventually next year but there's nothing I'm excited for or looking forward to.

Maybe watching a bootleg can help, but I know it's not the same. I know i have said I haven't been very into or caught up on recent Broadway stuff and sometimes it does make me sad. I am planning to read the Starless Sea in January too I hope so I'll keep that in mind. I didn't think of the Pippin revival but that's also an example of a revival trying to do something a little different I think. And I actually did watch Schmicago and thought it was pretty good! They might've actually referenced Pippin with a narrator character. I think it was actually better than the first season actually and the references were a lot more clear, at least to me. I would recommend it but did make me miss Broadway. At least they have Broadway actors though. I need to get better at watching shows too..that might have actually been the last full show I watched and that was back in July lol but I think I'm just more of a movie person usually.

But mostly I'm a music person and I can recommend my favorites. Omg I didn't know that..I've seen a few clips of Fall Out Boy on tour and it seems awesome. I hope you have the best time! So I'm not as into Fall Out Boy..like I've never done a deep dive on old albums and I was more of a casual fan at first. But their new album is great and since you're seeing their tour, you can just focus on that for now. My favorites are Fakeout and Love from the other side. For Paramore, I would listen to their albums in order cuz it's cool to see their evolution as a band and they don't have that many. They also have some covers and unreleased songs too. But if you wanna start with their newest album, I think it has a good mix of all of their sounds too. It's my favorite album of this year. I can also just list some favorites of mine here kinda going in order by album,. Oh Star, I caught Myself, Brighter, My Heart, Misery Business, When it Rains, Crushcrush. Brick By Boring Brick, Turn it off, Playing God, Misguided Ghosts, and all I wanted. Daydreaming, Last Hope, Hate to see your Heart Break, one of those crazy girls. Rose colored Boy, Fake Happy, 26, Tell me How, Running out of time, Big Man, You First, Liar, Crave and Thick Skull. I know that's a lot..wow i'm even surprised. I debated cutting it down but in case you don't listen to the full albums, this is what I would recommend! For her solo music, I would just recommend hearing the albums. Anyway what other vinyls did you get?

I definitely prefer Folklore, because I love a lot of songs on the album and I just know what my favorites are. Compared to Evermore, where some of it is more like background music to me. Ive already told you what my least favorites are and I might have unpopular favorites. My favorites are Evermore, Coney Island, Dorothea, and Gold Rush and Long Story Short . I also like No Body No Crime, Cowboy Like Me, Ivy and Right where you Left me cuz sometimes it feels like a movie. Ya Evermore does feel more cohesive to me or like it all blends together but my favorite songs are definitely on Folklore. That's why I've never understood the whole Folklore is a better album but Evermore has better songs thing lol. Also now it's Taylors birthday today..yay! Are you planning to watch the eras tour movie? I think I will sometime this weekend probably. Then its your birthday too and if anything, I will send you a message wishing you happy birthday if I don't reply. I hope you have a great weekend and birthday!!!

guess what guess what my voice is a little more back today !!! so fingers crossed it'll be completely back by saturday!!!! i've decided to make bracelets for the hockey game, so i'm going to be doing that tonight/tomorrow i think!! it'll be a nice break from making taylor bracelets :") (although i need to make some so i can mail them out next week eep!) i think my next show will probably be the company tour ... unless i see a regional production of spring awakening (which i'm tempted to; just depends on the cast and stuff).

i almost watched TBOSAS last night! but then i put the kraken game on instead </3 (which i'm glad i did because it was a beautiful game! and we won!) and i originally was going to stream eras tonight (i have $20 digital credits expiring on the 15th) but i forgot i have a thing at 7, and by the time that's over i won't want to watch a 3 hour long movie — so something for another night! you'll have to let me know how it is watching it from home! i suspect it'll be so much nicer to watch it all cozy and all but i wonder if i'll miss the cinema vibe!

i listened to part of the first paramore album yesterday when i was getting my allergy shot! i liked what i heard, but will need to finish it and then do another listen through to figure out what my favorites are! i ordered from the dirty hit store, so i figured if i was paying for ridiculous shipping costs i might as well bundle up so i actually ordered more than i normally would: i got the japanese house's saw you in a dream & pools to bathe in, beabadoobee's loveworm + the way things go 7", finally preordered benjamin francis leftwich's some things break vinyl + ordered his to carry a whale vinyl and after the rain, and the 1975's 7" all i need to hear + i like america and america likes me (real world version) ! and i have sabrina carpenter's fruitcake ep coming in i think on friday! so definitely way too many vinyls coming in haha. i need to cool it! way too many vinyls! i still need to finish working on my little vinyl craft project too, but that might be a next week problem / after the game / after my bracelets are done! i have like 15 ? that i need to prioritize for mailing out but then i can chill out for a little bit!

have i asked you for an updated taylor discography ranking yet? i'm curious to know what your ranking is/if it's changed since we last talked about it, especially with 1989 tv! you can distinguish between stolen and taylor's version if you'd like too!

yikes ik it's been a while, and trust me ive been meaning to talk more about qianqing, but the uni exams started and now i FINALLY found some free time (and a sticky note at the back of my brain reminding me) to talk 😭

also before anything SEASON 2 LOOKS SOOOO FREAKING GOOOD!! like in absolutely in love with mq and i thought i couldn't love him more but i was fortunately proven wrong ! also it dragged me back into fengqing so there's that hensndkeknd it only took few hot shots of fx and yeah i hate that i love them again but i do and there's nothing i can do about it but accept 😔✊ I HAD SUCH HIGH EXPECTATIONS FOR LQQ AND HE MET EVERY ONE OF THEM SJDJDJD HE LOOKS SO BABY and speaking of him, im sooooo curious what was your favorite lqq scene??

you seem to have read my thoughts when you answered my last ask because THOSE WERE EXACTLY THE SCENES I IMAGINED THEM IN!! mq nagging lqq about paperwork, friendly sparring, lqq sticking around mq during events in the heaven iejejekejej gods i wish i have more time so i can write something for them because this hasn't stopped itching my brain for weeks 😭

i also raise you that they go on missions together, because once mq gets comfortable and once he notices that lqq keeps inviting him, even if he doesn't need the help, he would invite lqq simply for the company!

lqq meeting fy on his purse of revenge could go into sooo many different directions!! like does lqq figure out fy is out on defending mq's name quest and is conflicted because he wants to help but also killing qr takes priority rn? does he try to convince fy to work together?? now i wanna explore every crevice of that meeting and make like thousands fics for it!!

(it's not out of the question, ive done aus out of my own aus! im sure if i find the time i could do this as well😭)

the thing about qiurong for me, as it is with many ships in big fandoms, it feels very forced ig by the fandom? i don't think im wording it correctly, but for me i usually don't end up liking many of those ships because it feels like people would just smush two characters together because they ran out of characters they can pair them with. and it's not necessarily a bad thing, but in this case the most im seeing from qiurong is fluffy family aus, which would never come to mind for me when i think about qr and lqq in a room together. again not a bad thing, not a bad ship, but personally not my cup of tea.

i do have to admit tho, im always kinda leaning towards more canon characterization, so i do have a particular tastes in ships i do ship and in definitely not one of the people who would read anything they can from the ships i like. so i think i wouldn't have gave up so quickly on quirong if i found something that suits my taste, because i do like both of their characters separately.

EXPLORING THE SIDE CHARACTERS RELATIONSHIPS IS ALWAYS THE BEST PART IN ANY FANDOM FOR ME!!! especially as someone whose faves are usually the side characters lol the creativity and the freedom of interpretation, diving deeper into them and putting them into situations and having to think about how they would act in them sjsjjsjd makes me crazy every time!

IVE SEEN YOUR LQQ/SQX ART AND OMG I WAS KICKING MY FEET ON MY BED LIKE A KID! EJJEJEEJ IT WAS SOO PRETTY!! GENUINELY LIVED IT! 😍😍😍

For real though season 2 has been such a treat so far— visually stunning and so fun to watch. I know what you mean about sinking back into fengqing hell while watching it. I’ve been in the same position— once you go fengqing you can never leave fengqing. They’re still so important to me 🥹🥹🧡

ALSO LQQ IS JUST AS ENDEARING AND CHARMING AS I HOPED HE WOULD BE. The way he’s so expressive and always so honest— he wears his feelings at all times and it’s always been one of my favorite qualities of his. Also asking me to choose a fav lqq scene is cruel— I love them ALL!!! From his intervention in the gambler’s den and subsequent fight with Hua Cheng, to the way Xie Lian still wrangles him like they’re still teacher & student, to lqq’s “if I hadn’t stepped in, nobody else would,” to the anger and pain in his voice as he broke his own arm to make a fair duel against xl,,,,, there’s so many good scenes!!!!

I’m bouncing all of these qianqing scenarios around in my head but I’m also especially intrigued by a fy & lqq encounter. If lqq was already close with mq when he was put under house arrest, I don’t know if lqq would be able to ignore that— even if he was still hellbent on revenge against qr. Maybe lqq doesn’t recognize mq in fy’s form— his decision to help would come across as so much more sincere like that, I think. Mq isn’t even present but lqq— who is still so jaded by his own quest— still thinks so highly of mq,,,,,,, I think mq would be taken aback by the gesture. Meanwhile lqq knows what it’s like to be wronged and want to set things right— he can empathize.

I’m shaking your hands on the qiurong sentiments— again, I think it’s fun for people to explore ships however they want. I don’t really like it so I don’t really engage with it. They don’t scratch the right type of enemies to lovers tropes that I usually like and that’s okay! I’ll be peddling my lqq content off in the corner while people have fun in their spaces.

I think it’s okay and important to be selective about how you enjoy your media! Not every piece of art or fic was made to be universally enjoyed and that’s okay! Personally I’m with you on focusing on characterization— If I feel like my silly lil guys would not say the words being put in their mouths then usually I put what I’m looking at down and move onto something else.

We’re alike in side character enjoyment too LMAO. Not to analyze it too hard but— for me at least— I think it comes down to how much they have or have not been explored and the intrigue that comes with that possibility. In more deranged words: they’re chewier! It’s like you said— it’s fun to try and figure out how they would behave in unwritten scenarios.

I’m glad you liked my autumn wind piece!!! I’d never drawn sqx before so that was exciting. I’ve been quietly enjoying people’s reactions to it while hiding so many other lqq rarepair ideas in my pockets 🤫😂

Facets: Chapter Eight

Summary: Ive’s training continues, this time bringing him face-to-face with some new evils. Will he be strong enough to defeat them on his own? Or, will he have to dig deep inside himself to unlock a strange new power...?

Author Notes: i think the rest of these chapters are actually all my favorites lol. new characters! old characters get development! we love to see it. anyway enjoy chapter 8!

Shot shows IVE walking through a hallway in MOJA’s castle. There are windows looking out into the courtyard. As he walks by, he notices MOJA and ROWHEA standing outside, and he peeks out curiously. MOJA notices him back there.

MOJA Ah, Ive! Come here for a sec.

IVE shyly shuffles out to meet them.

MOJA Ive, I’d like you to meet Rowhea. He’s a saiyan just like you, though he’s still mortal.

IVE … H… Hi--

ROWHEA grabs IVE’s hand and shakes it firmly with a big smile.

ROWHEA Nice to meetcha!

IVE U-uh…! You, too…!

ROWHEA lets go of his hand and places his hands on his hips. MOJA looks over at him.

MOJA Rowhea here has been doing quite a lot of work out there to get strong. I heard from Enlil that he’s even been sparring with gods--none of which are on my level, of course, but still. The fact that he’d be willing to do something like that caught my interest, so I decided to bring him here to train him myself.

IVE looks interested.

IVE Are you gonna train him to be a Destroyer, too?

MOJA What? No, of course not. I already got you, don’t I? I’m just training him to help him achieve the highest level he possibly can.

IVE Oh… That seems weird that you’d go out of your way to do that, though, Lord Moja.

MOJA I just wanna see how far I can push him, honestly. I think it’ll be fun to test the limits of a saiyan that isn’t immortal.

ROWHEA looks pumped.

ROWHEA I’m crazy excited to get stronger! Lord Moja said you were the strongest saiyan out there right now, which is where I wanna be. Would you mind sparring with me so I can see where my goal should be? Please?

IVE looks a little flustered.

IVE Um…! Sure, if it’s okay with Lord Moja…

MOJA Go ahead. Don’t kill him, though; that’d ruin the fun.

IVE swallows nervously now that that thought’s been put into his head.

Shot cuts to the two of them standing across from each other in an open area, where IVE and POLI had trained before.

ROWHEA Okay, I want you to power up to your fullest!

IVE Okay.

IVE activates Super Saiyan Albedo, which makes ROWHEA step back a little.

ROWHEA Whoa…! I’ve never even seen that form before! I can’t measure its power, either! What do you call it?

IVE Super Saiyan Albedo. It’s the highest level a saiyan can achieve, and you have to be immortal to do it. Um… Sorry to break that to you.

ROWHEA Immortal, huh…? I bet it’s because of the strain it takes on the body. That’s no problem! I’ll just find a mortal equivalent.

IVE A mortal equivalent? You think there is one?

ROWHEA There’s gotta be, right? If there isn’t, then I’ll make one! Anyway, now I want you to hit me with all your strength, okay? Just one good hit, so I can measure your strength.

IVE All my strength? That’ll kill you for sure…

ROWHEA Okay, then hit me with a power level that won’t kill me instantly! I’m okay with being incapacitated for a little bit.

IVE … You’re...kinda weird. But, um, I guess I could do that.

IVE then teleports behind ROWHEA and just flicks his back. This sends him flying with such great force he crashes through a few pillar things while MOJA and POLI watch from the sidelines. MOJA snorts amusedly while POLI just watches.

POLI You seem to have a soft spot for saiyans, Lord Moja.

MOJA Whatever. I just think they have a lot of potential as a species. That’s all.

Shot shows ROWHEA buried in dirt from where he skidded to a stop. IVE flies over to him, looking worried and powered down.

IVE Oh, gosh, I’m sorry…! Was that too hard? Are you okay?

ROWHEA pushes himself up onto his elbows and shakes the dirt from his head. He has a bloodied nose and some bruises, but otherwise he looks fine. He looks back at IVE with a smile.

ROWHEA That was insane!! And you’re tellin’ me that wasn’t even your full power? Dude, you’re amazing! Let’s go again!

IVE blushes a little but he gives a small smile of embarrassment.

Cut to six years later. IVE and ROWHEA are sparring again, this time both in base form. They both seem to be holding their own and enjoying themselves. MOJA calls out to them from the sidelines.

MOJA Alright, that’s enough playing around. Both of you power up to your fullest!

IVE and ROWHEA Right!

They both hop back from each other, and it starts by showing IVE powering up to Super Saiyan Albedo. Then, it cuts to ROWHEA powering up, but it dramatically shows him powering up to Super Saiyan Prisma. Once that’s done, they both shoot up into the sky and start going at it again. MOJA looks pleased from the ground. They fight for a little while until ROWHEA stops and sort of locks up from pain, suddenly powering down. IVE stops and powers down as well, looking concerned as he flies over to him.

IVE Rowhea…! Are you okay?

ROWHEA Y-yeah… I’m good. I think I went a little too long again, is all.

IVE You know you can only withstand Prisma for a little while… You should be careful.

ROWHEA smiles at him.

ROWHEA I think I’m getting better, though. I know I went for longer than usual this time!

IVE smiles, but he’s soon called down by MOJA.

MOJA Ive! Come here; something’s come up.

IVE and ROWHEA float down to MOJA and POLI.

IVE What is it?

MOJA There’s been some disturbances across the universe, all caused by a certain individual. Her name’s Kisei. She’s a demon that likes to stir up trouble in the mortal realm with her magic. She’s also a sort of scientist, I guess, so she’s also smart. You haven’t had any contact with demons yet outside of Taoreta, so I want you to go take care of it.

IVE D-demons? How do you want me to take care of it, exactly?

MOJA I’m sure you’ll figure it out. Poli will teleport you to her current location. It’s on some deserted planet, for some reason. She must be hiding out.

IVE Right. Okay, I can do it.

MOJA I know you can.

POLI lifts her staff and IVE is teleported to the deserted planet that I decided was full of just rocks and stuff because I don’t want to draw a lot of detailed backgrounds the whole time. IVE is in an underground cavern, anyway, so whatever. He walks around cautiously, observing his surroundings.

IVE (thinking) I wonder what a demon’s energy feels like…? I assume it’s pretty nasty…

Suddenly, he stops.

IVE (thinking) Wait, I feel something. It’s really dark… It must be her.

He gets into a battle stance, but then he looks confused.

IVE (thinking) Hold on… There’s more than one…?

Suddenly, a light glimmers from the darkness, and a beam of dark energy shoots out at him. He easily dodges with a flip and lands elsewhere. CROISS and GUETTA begin emerging from the shadows with wicked grins on their faces.

CROISS Looks like we got a quick one, Sis.

GUETTA Are we actually gonna have some fun this time?

IVE gets ready again.

IVE (thinking) Those two...look like saiyans. Where’s the demon?

Suddenly, he sees KISEI coming out from behind the two artificial saiyans, and she’s smiling softly.

IVE Are you Kisei?

KISEI I’m flattered you know of me.

IVE The God of Destruction told me about you. He said you’ve been causing trouble, and he sent me to stop you.

KISEI Is that right? Lord Moja wants to ruin the party, I see… It’s funny that he’d send a little saiyan like you to do his dirty work, though. What’s so special about you, then?

IVE I’m training under him to be the next God of Destruction!

KISEI Interesting… You must be powerful, then. This is the perfect opportunity to test my creations’ powers. Croiss, Guetta… After him.

CROISS and GUETTA grin evilly.

CROISS and GUETTA With pleasure!

The two of them launch at IVE, and the fight begins. They throw punches and kicks, but IVE dodges them all with cool acrobatics, as he usually does. The twins see that they’re not making any headway with this, so they back off and look at each other.

CROISS I think we should do it.

GUETTA Ditto.

IVE looks confused for a moment, but he’s soon surprised when the two of them power up to Super Saiyan Diamond.

KISEI This...is Super Saiyan Diamond. It’s a transformation that only these two can achieve due to their artificial DNA. Its strength surpasses that of what you know as Super Saiyan Blue. They’ve been itching to test it out on a worthy opponent. Will it be you?

The twins dart forward again, and when IVE tries to dodge, GUETTA suddenly appears behind him and knocks him down. He bounces back up and tries to right himself, but Croiss swipes at him and knocks him away again. He growls, deciding now is a good time to use Albedo, which he does. The twins and KISEI look intrigued, but none of them are super fazed by it. If anything, the twins are excited.

KISEI So, this is Albedo… It’s much more amazing in person. I wonder how it will hold up against my twins, though?

CROISS and GUETTA start attacking again, now using team attacks that are in sync. IVE does his best to defend and is able to dodge better, but they still end up taking him from his blind spots here and there and eventually knock him away. He stops to think for a split second.

IVE (thinking) They’re so powerful…! And when they work together, they’re really hard to predict and counter… But, Kisei called them her creations. That means they’re just artificial, right? They must have been created to cause chaos. I’m probably supposed to just take them out for good so they won’t be able to hurt anyone…

CROISS and GUETTA grin evilly before GUETTA darts forward on her own to strike again. IVE is ready, and he charges up an energy blast. GUETTA keeps coming. He fires the blast at her, seemingly catching her whole and obliterating her. CROISS and KISEI are standing back with smirks on their lips. When the smoke clears, GUETTA can be seen standing completely unscathed. IVE is super scared by this.

KISEI Forgive me, I seem to have forgotten to explain something about my dear Croiss and Guetta… I’ve made them so that they’re invulnerable to damage. There’s no way you can harm them. You’re immortal, aren’t you? Surely you’ll be able to last long enough to satisfy them.

CROISS leaps up over GUETTA as if to pounce on IVE, but IVE dodges before he can land a punch that shatters the rocky ground. IVE looks panicked, but he’s not given time to think this time because GUETTA is right behind him and knocks him into a wall. He rolls over and sits up with his back against the wall. He powers down when he sees that it’s not doing him any good.

IVE (thinking) How am I supposed to beat them if they’re invulnerable…?! This is just like Taoreta all over again--I won’t be able to beat them on my own!

CROISS and GUETTA are closing in.

IVE (thinking) Unless I…

CROISS steps forward with a little laugh.

CROISS C’mon, short stuff, don’t you got more than that for us? We thought an immortal saiyan would be a lot more fun than this!

IVE hesitantly and shakily holds up a hand towards him. CROISS smirks and stands up straight.

CROISS Go ahead, try it. See what good it does you.

IVE … H…

KISEI’s expression suddenly drops.

IVE … Hakai!!

CROISS is no longer smiling. He suddenly screams as he’s utterly destroyed, dissolving into nothing. GUETTA and KISEI look devastated in the background while IVE is just happy that even worked.

KISEI Y-you…! How could you?!

GUETTA growls and launches at him.

GUETTA You’re gonna pay for doing that to my brother!!

IVE stands up and holds his hand out again, more confident this time. When GUETTA gets close, he’s ready.

IVE Hakai!

The same destruction happens to GUETTA. KISEI looks nervous while IVE stands his ground.

IVE It’s over, Kisei. It’s just you and me, now. You can either accept defeat and go home, or I can take care of you, too.

KISEI Tch…! I will not accept defeat so easily! I have one more surprise for you…

She raises her staff and begins to summon VIENNO, who rises up from the ground through a portal she created.

KISEI Vienno!!

VIENNO opens their eyes and looks down at IVE.

KISEI Pummel this pest until he learns not to interfere with us anymore!

VIENNO glances back at KISEI before huffing and beginning to walk towards IVE. IVE stands his ground.

IVE (thinking) I don’t sense the same evil energy coming from this one… But, if they’re taking orders from her, then I guess I have no choice.

When VIENNO comes close enough, he holds out his hand to try and destroy them like the others.

IVE Hakai!

Nothing happens. VIENNO looks down at him silently while his expression drops.

IVE … Wh…?

IVE starts to back up.

IVE Why… Why didn’t it work?

KISEI is grinning wickedly.

KISEI Haha… Vienno is different from the other two. Can you guess why your little attack won’t work on them?

VIENNO grabs IVE by his head--their hand covers his whole face basically--and suddenly slams him into the cavern wall, creating a huge hole. They then fling him back behind them, and he flops and rolls along the ground because he’s discombobulated. KISEI looks pleased.

KISEI They’re immortal, just like you. Isn’t it amazing? I’ve created an immortal saiyan. It’s a shame I wasn’t the first, but this will do.

VIENNO starts walking towards IVE again. He gets up and powers up again.

KISEI Oh, that won’t do you much good, either. I’ve given Vienno a special feature on top of the immortality. You see...they have the ability to copy any saiyan form they see. I’ve been observing various fights and showing them to them so that they could acquire these abilities for themselves. Vienno, show him Super Saiyan.

VIENNO stops and does as they’re told, powering up to Super Saiyan. They then launch at IVE and they fight again.

KISEI Now, four.

VIENNO suddenly turns Super Saiyan 4, and they start landing harder attacks on IVE. KISEI grins. KISEI Blue.

VIENNO ascends to Super Saiyan Blue before kicking IVE and knocking him away.

KISEI You see? They were able to ascend to the level of a god just from observation. Isn’t that incredible?

IVE No! They’re just a copycat, that’s all!

KISEI Oh, believe me--they may have copied the forms, but they are true transformations, through and through. Why don’t I prove it to you? Surely by now you’ve realized the full potential of this power…

Something clicks in IVE’s mind before KISEI speaks.

KISEI Vienno… Albedo.

IVE looks frightened at the verbal confirmation. Vienno clenches their fists before powering up all the way to Super Saiyan Albedo, just like IVE. They are so gorgeous.

IVE But...I thought…!

KISEI You thought you were the only one who could achieve this form? How selfish. I told you they were immortal, did I not? It would only make sense that they could achieve this form, after seeing you. Now, the question is...which of you is stronger?

VIENNO launches at IVE again, and the two start attacking each other. IVE is defensive at first, but he tries some offense as well. VIENNO dodges in the same manner as IVE does. The two go back and forth for a minute before VIENNO seems to catch their stride and starts pushing IVE back. Eventually, IVE loses his concentration and starts getting punched back and forth, and then he’s blasted back, skidding back to the wall. He seems very winded, and he collapses to his knees, powering down.

IVE (thinking) I can’t...keep this up…! We’re using the same form, but theirs is more powerful than mine… I’m immortal, but I don’t have limitless stamina and energy…! They’re just going to keep beating me until…

VIENNO steps closer while KISEI smiles with satisfaction in the background.

IVE (thinking) ...until…

IVE clenches his fists.

IVE (thinking) No, I… I have to…!

The ground beneath IVE starts to crack, and the cavern rumbles. KISEI and VIENNO stop and look around in confusion. Suddenly, a huge flash of bright light fills the room surrounding IVE.

KISEI What…?!

When the light dissipates, IVE is left standing up. When he opens his eyes, they’re silver, revealing that he’s achieved imperfect Ultra Instinct. KISEI looks nervous, but keeps it together.

KISEI What form is this…? It doesn’t matter. Vienno, attack!

VIENNO darts forward to strike, but IVE easily steps out of the way. VIENNO swipes around for another attack, but IVE gracefully flips to dodge it, too. KISEI growls.

KISEI Vienno, enough fooling around! Copy his form!

VIENNO does as they’re told and tries to copy it, but they seem to be struggling. They sort of hunch over, as if they’re suddenly in pain. KISEI frowns.

KISEI They should be able to copy it! Unless...it’s too much for their artificial DNA to handle. Curses! What is this form?!

IVE stands up and looks at VIENNO while they’re distracted. He quickly throws a single punch, and he sends VIENNO crashing through the wall into another cavern, this one filled with an underground lake. They land on the side of it where there’s a rocky floor, crashing into the ground. As they shakily get up, IVE darts forward and seems to miss them, landing a ways behind them. However, it’s soon clear that he struck them as he passed, because they’re suddenly hit with a flurry of hard blows. This totally kicks the shit out of them, and they power down to base form before collapsing to the ground, unconscious finally. As IVE stands up straight, he looks over at them. KISEI can be seen watching in horror from the hole they came through. When she sees that VIENNO was defeated, she backs up angrily.

KISEI Tch…! Useless, just like the others…! Fine. If this is all you can do, you can stay here to rot. I’ll just create something better.

With that, she disappears in a puff of smoke. IVE is watching VIENNO still, but he seems to suddenly run out of energy. He loses the Ultra Instinct and goes wobbly before collapsing against the wall and also falling unconscious.

Cut to a while later. IVE is starting to wake up. When he opens his eyes, ERA is floating in front of him with a happy smile on his face. IVE blinks in confusion.

ERA Hi there.

IVE jolts fully awake, sitting up with a startle. ERA backs up a little, still smiling and floating in the air.

ERA Whoa there, buddy! No need to freak out. I was just makin’ sure you’re alright. You got pretty beat up there.

IVE W-who are you…?

ERA Me? I’m Era. Nice to meetcha!

IVE How did you…? What are you doing here?

ERA Well, I’ve been kinda watching Mom’s activities just to see where they went ‘cause I heard she’s been doing some pretty wild stuff lately, and when I saw all that go down just now, I figured I should pop in for a minute to get a closer look! I guess I came in kinda late, though.

IVE Mom…? You mean Kisei? She’s your mom?

IVE starts to tense up, but ERA waves his hand.

ERA Chill out! Sure, she’s my mom, but I’m not really affiliated with her. I was just interested in seeing what she came up with this time. I’m interested in her science projects is all, since that’s kinda what I do, too, y’know? Speaking of which…

He turns to VIENNO.

ERA I actually came to pick this fella up. I guess Mom decided she didn’t want them anymore, so I figured it was a good opportunity to take them for myself!

IVE Take them? Where? For what?

ERA Back to my place, of course! As for what for, um… I’m not really sure. It won’t be anything you’ll have to worry about, though; I promise. I’m not like that. It seemed to me like they weren’t like the other two artificial saiyans in that they weren’t programmed to be evil; they only did what Mom told them to do because that’s all they knew. I’m sure I can find a better use for them than she did.

IVE looks wary.

IVE Are… Are you sure you won’t make them do anything bad? How can I trust you if you’re a demon?

ERA I promise I won’t do anything bad. I’m just not interested! Plus, sure, I’m a demon, but you can’t really expect all of us to be like Mom, can you? That’d be pretty boring.

IVE considers. Before he’s given a chance to answer, ERA starts to pick VIENNO up over his shoulders.

ERA Welp, anyway, I’m outtie. Maybe I’ll see you around later; you seem like a cool guy. Good luck with that destruction stuff or whatever!

He opens a portal, and he then disappears through it with VIENNO in tow. IVE is left there, a bit confused as to what just happened.

Cut to IVE teleporting back to MOJA and POLI later.

POLI Welcome back!

IVE smiles at her, but he notices MOJA looks disgruntled.

IVE Lord Moja…? What’s wrong?

MOJA sighs.

MOJA Ive… Do you know what you did back there? That transformation you used?

IVE Uh… No, I don’t. It just happened suddenly. Why? Was it bad?

POLI Not necessarily. What you achieved was an imperfected form of Autonomous Ultra Instinct, a state that’s hard to achieve even for us deities. We were both very impressed to see you use it.

MOJA Yeah, impressed is one word for it. I hadn’t expected you to learn something like that for a long time, but I guess now that it’s been tapped into...I should probably start teaching you how to use it.

POLI Or, I will, since you haven’t perfected it yet, yourself.

MOJA Well…! I just haven’t felt like it, okay?

POLI Of course, Lord Moja.

IVE shuffles around.

IVE That’s great, Lord Moja, but, um...there’s something I want to do before we start any of that.

MOJA Yeah? What is it?

IVE Is there any way I can borrow the Super Dragon Balls for something? It’s really important.

MOJA and POLI look at each other in surprise.

MOJA … I guess I can trust that you won’t do anything stupid with them. You’re not like that. But I’m only allowing this as a reward for achieving Ultra Instinct today, got it? No more of these free wishes.

IVE Got it. Thank you, Lord Moja!

Cut to POLI and IVE in front of the Super Dragon Balls.

POLI Alright, Ive. What is your wish?

IVE looks up at the dragon balls.

Shot cuts to a black scene, which turns into someone opening their eyes. Shot changes to show TAORETA’s eyes, and it then zooms out to show his surprised face. He’s no longer a demon; he’s a kai again. He looks down at his hands in confusion, then looks around. Before he can process what’s happening, IVE teleports in behind him, and he turns around quickly to look at him.

TAORETA … You…? What… How did I…?

IVE You were erased, but I wished you back to life. I also specified that you’d come back as a kai, like you used to be.

TAORETA looks utterly confused.

TAORETA Why would you do that…? I killed the gods! I tried to kill you! What reasoning do you have behind this?

IVE You acted out because you felt you were wronged, didn’t you? Your fellow gods wouldn’t listen to you when you wanted to help your universe, and they cast you out instead. That’s why you were angry, right?

TAORETA looks away angrily.

TAORETA What does it matter? It’s not as if any of them would change. Bringing me back was pointless.

IVE walks over and holds out his hand.

IVE Let me show you something, okay?

TAORETA looks up warily at his hand. Shot cuts to the two of them with POLI teleporting into some place in outer space.

TAORETA … This is Universe A. Why did you bring me back here? Are you trying to punish me for what I did?

IVE Just look for a minute. You can see all the planets, right? Look closely at them.

TAORETA huffs and turns to look through space. He uses his kai vision to zoom in on Planet Sadala, which is bustling with both saiyans and other races (namekians, brench, etc.) helping each other out with building and trading resources. Shot changes to show TAORETA looking surprised.

TAORETA They’re...helping each other? Why are they doing this? Why are they not fighting over the resources?

IVE Because they don’t need to. Everyone has the resources they need, now; they’re all sharing and helping each other out instead.

TAORETA … But...why would Zerac allow this?

IVE I guess he just needed a little push to help him realize he was wrong.

TAORETA looks thoughtful in a confused way for a moment.

IVE Do you want to see for yourself?

TAORETA looks warily at him. Shot cuts to ZERAC and YARHI hanging out in the World of the Kais before it changes to show TAORETA’s boots teleporting in. YARHI and ZERAC look surprised when they notice the three of them standing there. TAORETA looks nervous and a bit skeptical while IVE is just smiling warmly.

ZERAC Taoreta…?

YARHI doesn’t say anything; he just looks shocked to see TAORETA again like this. TAORETA frowns at him before looking down.

TAORETA … Yarhi...I…

YARHI steps forward before starting to run. TAORETA tenses up, but YARHI just rams into him with a hug, starting to sob.

YARHI I’m so sorry, Taoreta…! I’m sorry for not saying anything back then… I should have spoken up, but I…!

TAORETA frowns, but he ends up holding YARHI. YARHI looks up at him with tears in his eyes.

TAORETA … I know you were afraid. You just wanted to keep the peace.

YARHI I--I should have stood up for myself. I should have stood up for you. You didn’t deserve what happened to you.

TAORETA looks away.

TAORETA It was...a long time ago. There’s no use fretting over it anymore.

He notices ZERAC step forward.

TAORETA … Zerac.

ZERAC Taoreta, I… I’m sorry. It was a mistake to cast you out like I did. I was foolish, and...I was wrong. I should have listened to you.

TAORETA doesn’t say anything, but the look he gives is one of acceptance. YARHI steps back from him.

YARHI Are… Are you back for good?

TAORETA If what this saiyan has shown me is true, and things truly have changed...I suppose I could be.

YARHI Well… We haven’t appointed a new East Supreme Kai yet. If you wanted to...we’d be happy to have you back.

TAORETA seems to consider the offer.

ZERAC I...won’t blame you for declining. If you wish to leave, you should feel free.

TAORETA looks over at him.

TAORETA … You’ll offer me my old position, even after all I’ve done?

ZERAC Yes. From what we understand, you’ve already paid the price. Now, you have an opportunity to move on and help better the universe like you wanted.

POLI chimes in.

POLI This opportunity won’t come again. Choose wisely.

TAORETA glances back at her thoughtfully. He finally sighs.

TAORETA … If you’re sure… I’ll stay.

YARHI looks very happy about this. IVE smiles, too. Chapter ends with a shot of them all standing in the grass.

ive listened to a bit of the dub (through clips) and tbh i do like it!! i like brook's voice acting a lot (hes who ive heard the most of. also he nails the laugh, which is very important to me) but luffys voice is so jarring to me i just cannot.. get past it. i think im just too used to the sub luffy after . a decade . of hearing him sound like that. plus i usually have to use subtitles anyways cuz i have an audio processing disorder so. sub is just what i default to. but yeah definitely valid to watch dub instead!! they do a great job from what ive seen :)

i have seen a bit of extra content involving the live action cast and tbh usopps actor.. is my favorite. he nails usopp. hes real life usopp. and i love usopp a lot so,,. tbh i might just pirate it (ahaha.... pirate.... pirate.... pirate the pirate show .......) because i really want to watch it!!

it was only super recently where i realized its not inherently a bad thing to like problematic media. to be fair tho there are definitely a lot more problematic fans when u enjoy problematic media, and i see it with one piece a lot. there is a WEIRD amount of transphobes in this community and i cant help but feel like part of that is because of oda's writing spreading some common transphobic ideas. i think hes redeemed himself a lot with the most recent trans characters, and i adore them, but the damage.. is done. but yeah im sure another big part of why theres so much negativity is just because one piece is insanely popular. the bigger the fandom, the bigger the shitty part of it is.

THEY *HAVE* EARNED THE RIGHT TO BE REAL PEOPLE.. YEAA FELLOW ZORO FAN!! originally my favs were just the top 3 of 1. sanji 2. robin and 3. franky but as we got past water 7 and franky didnt get much more development spotlight he fell a bit just bc i dont get to see him doing much :( still love him though. bc of Shipping Reasons (embarrassing) Zoro got on my radar more and i started to appreciate him as a character more and more. plus he’s just. really badass im ngl. and in addition to that he is. so fucking stupid and uncool and goofy at the same time and that just makes him more likable. so now i just have a quartet of favs cause zoro wormed his way in there somewhere and i hold him dear to my heart. 5.18, 11:10, Just another day in the life of me

What’s up. So honestly, I don’t even feel like writing right now but I am because I am trying to help encourage Stefan to jounral more. Haha. But yea, so we are doing pretty good. I honestly don’t remeber what my last post was but I know that it wasn’t anything very good. I think it was something that was pretty bad, but I just want to update you and tell you that everything is ok. We are doing really good. Like he is loving me really well and we are vibing really hard so that is really good. Of course he still has his issues but its ok because I am here to help him. Obviously I have another jounral that i write in but that shit is addressed to stefan so everything that i don’t want him to really see i write here. It’s not like I don’t want him seeing it, its more of a respect thing for myself. It was a good day today though. this morning I woke up and finished writing a giant law paper that I had to do, so that was good. I actually had a really good time writing it so that was good. I then took a shower and then went to a coffee meeting time with one of my teachers. Mr. Porto. She was really cool to talk with and I learned alot about her, it was honestly just nice to talk to her. I like talking to different people. Then after that me and muhsin went to get some food. Oh also, I’ve been having some crazy nose bleeds lately. it hasn’t been good Oh yesturday me and stefan fell asleep in his common room which wasn’t very good and unsolicited but it’s ok. I woke up and had the worst bloody nose Ive ever had. shit was flowing really badly like from both sides which wasn;t good. Today i felt just the slightest bit woosy beause i lost all that blood but also because i am eating like shit which is completly my fault. It’s ok. these things happen. but then we went to this k nutrition place which was good. Saw this girl that I haven’t seen in a while, her name is marissa jacobsen and is p cool. we had food and it was nice. muhsin’s kinda been getting on my nerves today just because hes being mad annoying. Mainly because i had my roomate meeting today and i didn’t really wanna talk about it cuz it was kinda annoying and i jusst didn’t really wanna deal with it and you know muhsin, he just like to talk in circles about the same shit in a really laughable and stupid way, that kinda just made me annoyed and like bro stfu but I didn’t which is fine lol. But yea, also he just gets under my skin which is annoying. But when these things happen, he doesn’t and instead i become really bitter and sarcastic and that gets under his skin. hahaha. off, it’s like that sibling dynamic for real lol. I had the roomate agreement thingy. it was really easy and lasted like 5 minutes but i literally held the whole conversation and made it really easy for everyone. My gremlin of a roomamte is leaving on my birthday which is in 3 days, so great birthday present, but also yayyyy. Hopefully i will never have to see that bitche ever again in my entire life lol. I basically said I am fine with not having any guests over, cuz it is what like a few more days until we get out of school. But since she is leaving even earlier then yayyyy i get the room to myselffff whooo hoooo. But yea, so she didn’t even say anything and I tried to be as accomodating and open as possible. maybe a little to kiss ass but at the end of the day i am just trying to save my ass. it is what it is. then after that, i hang out with muhsin working on a general outline foir my final film essay which me stefan and mushin all wanted to work on tonight which was good. Took like forever to actually get to the film. Muhsin wanted to find his room for next year so he wandered the damn halls and i sat with stefan. Then muhsin finally did show up but then we were hungry and ordered wings. so then we just continued to work on the outline while we waited. the food came and then we ate and finally watched the movie. the movie was really good it was an alfred hitchock film called vertigo and was pretty good. it was an old movie but had a very intresting plot. I’d honestly love to make another movie like it but kinda modernify it. I think it would be really good. I feel like the film encapsulated human emotion and perspection really well. Sometimes people gaslight themselves and do really stupid shit without realizing it and maybe they do btu just continue to do it because they can’t do anything else and are falling victim to their weakness. So yea. But then throuhgout the whole movie we were all talking and shit about the film, muhsin was getting on my nerve a little bit because me and stefan were working on an outline and basically said if muhsin wanted access to it he had to work on it. We gave him access and he didn’t do shit so i kicked him off the document and he was all crusty about that shit, but it was his fault lol. Also, he was trying to convince me to lie about who stefan wa if he was brought up in the roomamte agreement but honestly fuck that. Lying is never a good option, it just was flabbergasting to me because i think muhsin actually belived that what he was telling me was a good idea which was really stupid because it clearly wasn’t lol. sometimes i think this kid is retarted lol. muhsin and stefan are both more autistic than me because we took an autism quiz and they both got over double my score which was jfunny. anyway i’ll see you later, we are done texting loll, byeeeee. 11:27pm

(and intermission by zar too since it fits in there) its just perfect and i feel like ive reread it a billion times.

fav golden trio era ship - probably luna and neville (do they have a ship name? i cant think of it if they do) they were my favourite characters as a kid so they have a special place in my heart. OH i also love romione because theyre just a classic and i love them sm.

do i write fics - sadly no. ive tried and failed. im not a creative writer at all, in fact im literally the opposite, call me the grammar police. im essentially the designated paper editor among my friends because im fantastic at technical writing and stuff like that, but i cant write for shit. i truly envy people who can create such beautiful stories.

tea or coffee - coffee always. i do love tea and have it probably just as much as coffee but i will always be a coffee girly.

go to outfit - hmm. well i basically live in my doc martens and leather jacket (very sirius of me i must say) and i do love a good baggy jean and band tee look. but on my off days you cannot find me out of my sweatpants or pajamas. its simply not happening.

area of study - im studying classics and anthroplogy in uni rn! ive always been a history/humanities girly and i love ancient history and languages so much so thats what i decided to do. (plus i was a greek mythology kid so) i think my ideal career path would be archaeologist but that could change at any given moment, so im just seeing where uni takes me.

Turning back around, you took a few steps forward before noticing that he wore a lot of accessories on him. One of them being a mask that resembled one of the Vigilant Yaksha’s in that one book you read as a kid. Probably just a fan or something.

You reached the balcony, taking a spot next to him while also keeping some space between the two of you. Leaning on the balustrade (the railing of a balcony), you rested your head on top of your arms.

A comfortable silence was placed in the middle of the two. A silent breeze blew, adding to the mellow mood.

“What brings you here?” the pretty stranger suddenly inquired, gaining a small jolt from your serene state. “Did I scare you? My apologies.”

“Oh, uh, it’s nothing...” You lifted your head to look out at the lands of Dihua Marsh. Seeing Dragonspine in the distance gave you a chill. Those were not the greatest memories. The small movement didn’t go unnoticed by the boy.

“You’re an adventurer?”

“Oh... yeah, I am... I’m not that experienced yet, though...”

Even though you weren’t facing him, you could feel his piercing gaze on you. It wasn’t uncomfortable at all, but gave you a feeling of protection.

At this point, you’d been fending these slimes off for around a quarter of an hour now and you were getting tired now.

Your dumbass tried to drown them in the lake but forgot that they immediately froze any moisture underneath them. You tried attacking them but everything you could do was inflict the freeze effect (against CRYO slimes).

You literally could not do anything. Time to get frozen to death!

“Burn!”

WHAT???

Suddenly, a big fire bird swept up the slimes that had been occupying you for the last 20 minutes or so, effectively taking them out.

At this point, the only thing that kept you standing was your adrenaline, which quickly ran out as you dropped to the ground in exhaustion. You let out a sigh, finally free from those damned slimes. You will have your revenge one day... just not today.

While you were resting on the ground, your saviour had been standing there, watching you calm down. And so you looked up to be greeted by probing crimson orbs, which definitely startled you.

Your saviour was.... Master Diluc. Master Diluc Ragnvindr, wealthiest man in Mondstadt. Him. In front of you.

“OH! I, um, Master Diluc! What brings you here?”

‘WHAT BRINGS YOU HERE??’ HE LIVES HERE THOUGH??

“I was taking a stroll around the winery and happened to see you in your own predicament.”

You attempted to stand up, though your legs failed you as you only flopped back onto the dirt.

diluc doesn’t wanna admit it but that was unbelievably stupid, cute, and endearing

Mans was telling you to “relax” while you were in the presence of a literal typhoon here. He was so brooding and scary-looking all the time that you couldn’t even try to relax.

A few minutes pass and the sound of water rushing was the only thing keeping you two company.

It was nice to enjoy nature, but the tension between the two of you was still higher than ever.

To break this silence, you had tried to stir up some small talk.

“The weather is nice today, huh...”

He grunted, which seemed to be a regular response of his. You started to notice this after a few questions like “how’s your day been” or “have any plans today?”

Not that you were genuinely interested. You bet that he could tell that you were trying to make it less awkward by responding at all, but it just didn’t help at all.

You were probably sitting for a good 10 minutes before deciding to stand up again, in which you were successful. But could you walk back to the city?

That was debatable.

You definitely felt and looked unstable, so being the gentleman he was raised to be, Diluc reluctantly bent down and slung your shoulder over his.

The height difference between the two of you was pretty big, so he ended up just carrying you to his place. As goofy as it looked, it got the job done.

I haven't heard abt much of it myself, but what are your thoughts on Rakugaki Kingdom?

I was certainly really happy when it was announced, even made a youtube video abt shortly after the first announcement. I honestly have many thoughts on rakugaki kingdom (was gonna make a video for that too but never did) but instead i am going to make an insanely long post about it here instead!! so thank you for giving me a reason to finally write this stuff down lol -the actual core gameplay of the series, the character creation/drawing, is flawless. they brought it over so well, and being able to draw right on the screen with a tablet means its easier than ever to control!! despite being an ipad game it is SO much more powerful of a creation engine than graffiti kingdom. You can add insane amounts of detail, and many life improvements such as being able to resize things, manipulate polygons, rotate stuff, etc, are a very welcome change. you can even chose if your creation has 2d outlines or not. heres a few creations posted recently on the official twitter!!

-THE ABILITY TO POST DESIGNS ONLINE IS A GAME CHANGER!!! This game now has a community to it where you can like and download various creations from other players. this is something the series needed badly. -The pre-made characters used by enemies in the game are as creative and wacky as ever. One of the most memorable being an owl thats made out of a milk carton. -I am very happy ZUN was involved with the game, we even got a sequel to his original graffiti kingdom reimu!!

and better yet, an official touhou crossover event happened and now reimu is an actual character in the game!

-They got many people involved from graffiti kingdom, we had an official pastel done by her OG creator, and the OG voice actor for pixel's tutor (sadly thats about all the graffiti kingdom stuff we get in this game though)

-Theres apperently a feature where you can actually export your creation as a 3d model!! so you make them into a VR avatar even. Though I must admit I dont know how this feature works or its limits. -The little area where you can watch your lil creations dance n have fun is similar to the magic pengel starting area which is so damn cozy

-Im extremely happy how popular it got in japan. theyre having a blast creating stuff and im glad the game is making money because of that. Meaning future rakugaki games are finally possible again!!

-Music is pretty dope!

-Thats about all for positives for the game, I actually had more than I realized pfft. Now for the more unfortunate stuff:

-The character designs simply arent as striking as what we've seen in the serious before. The rather samey anime style is kinda eh in comparison to graffiti kingdoms cartoonishness and magic pengels ghibli-style designs. Maybe some fans like the characters, but they certainly dont strike my fancy

-The stories are a slog. The "cutscenes" are just png icons of the characters talking back and forth (with your main creature faithfully sitting in the corner not doing much). I only got through so many before I decided Im just not gonna bother.

-The battle system itself is more like magic pengel which isnt a bad thing by any means but instead of the rock-paper-scissors style game play, you just get generic elemental moves and special moves that are pretty much like the z-moves in pokemon.

-And finally my biggest gripe: you cant immediately use your creation in battle until you go through possibly the most painstaking way to level up ive ever seen in a mobile game: watching DOZENS AND DOZENS of uneventful cutscenes and slowly choosing your stats as you go, until like a full hour later your creature can now be used. Its horrible. Sure you can still see all your creations animations in the test zone, but otherwise if you wanna make the most out of the creation you just spent two hours on you need to watch cutscenes. This is what kinda killed my enjoyment for the game, as much as I wish I enjoyed rakugaki kingdoms story and battles I just cant. I was even originally planning to translate the cutscenes to bring em to the english audience, but i can hardly sit through em as is. Im not even sure if theyve updated or changed this or not because I just stopped checking.

The drawing system is the true star of this game, and I still love it for that alone. I dont like really PLAYING rakugaki kingdom, but Im still very very happy it exists. It means a lot to me that this series is alive again and I hope it continues to grow!!! Rakugaki forever<3

Why tf am I doing this

Anyway just stargazing fluff w captain. I fucking hate my life. I didn’t wanna finish the end lol so suck my cliffhanger dick.

You always had a hard time sleeping since you joined the army. You always had so much to think about. Recent encounters with the enemy, philosophical paradoxes, and… the douche that was captain. You’d go to the gym to exercise your thoughts away, but you decided, fuck it. You went up to the roof of the building, gazing up at the sky. One of the only things that stayed the same throughout the chaos that is war. A clear night sky was quite rare! You looked up at the stars, trying to distract yourself. From everything. The pain of war, the meaning of life, and your past struggles with love. You had quite a few encounters with the latter emotion, and none served you well. But here you were again. You were just another run of the mill soldier. How could you even have a chance with goddamn CAPTAIN of all people. All the thoughts were just too much. So much shit was flooding your head at once, because all the thoughts you suppressed just came flooding back to you all at once. So like any normal person, you went as far away from the dorms as possible, and started fucking screaming. About everything. Venting to whatever god was up there, begging it to have mercy. As you took another little break to sob, you heard heavy footsteps up the metal stairs. Fuck. Who’d you piss off this time? You hid behind a duct opening and prayed to Christ that it was Steve. All the other soldiers would fuckin kill your ass, so would Ted, and well, the worst case scenario- you couldn’t even complete the thought as the aforementioned worst case scenario started talking. Whelp, I guess the duct wasn’t the best place to hide. There you were curled up in a ball, ready to get a right scolding for waking up captain himself. But what he said next was enough to reinduce the sorry state you were in before having to hide with bated breath. “Are you ok, kiddo?” Two years ago. The last time you were asked that question, just before you joined this fucking shithole of an army. And here you were. Crying like a baby, as captain tried desperately to check you for injuries. “I heard you screaming like a fucking sissy, you good man?” In a desperate attempt to get you to cheer up, he was just throwing insults in a panic. Steve once told him that ya probably shouldn’t insult an injured person, and told him to first ask this, if there was any distress. “Mental, or physical pain? Do I need to take you to the infirmary? Should I carry you?” Panic is an understatement. You were ofc having a mental breakdown on the floor screaming “I DONT EVEN KNOW ANYMORE!” He didn’t know what to do, so, he asked a simple question. One his mom asked him whenever he cried. “Do you want a hug?” As those words came out of his mouth, you tackled him in a hug, pushing both of you onto the ground. Still trying his best not to upset you more, he started to pat you on the head, trying to calm you down. Feeling completely and utterly useless and weak. Infront of your crush? What luck. You felt utter despair. He’d never like you in this state. At that moment you realized just how sus this was. Yikes. You. Were. Cuddling. With. CAPTAIN! As you continued to drift into despair, Captain, in the most awkward tone you have ever heard, said “uhhhh, y-ya like stargazin?” “Kinda, yea…” You try to look up at the stars, trying to gain control over all your thoughts. The moon. The stars. The Big Dipper. Orion’s Belt. Andromeda. You felt an invisible weight on your back lift gradually, as you mumble out a tired “Thank you so much, sir. For calming my stupid ass down.”

“Well, ya damn near woke everyone up so it was probably best that I calm you down.” “Yea. Sorry for the trouble sir.”

“Wanna talk about it? Or would you like to simply sit in silence.” He took your silence as an affirmation for the latter. Minutes later, you asked John, “how about you, ya like stargazing?-Ah shit crap sorry, shouldn’t be that informal, sir“ “You using me as a pillow is informal enough, but I guess I’ll let it slide since you literally just had a mental breakdown right infront of me. … about stargazing, I never really had time for it. Ya know, army business.” “Want me to show you some constellations?” As you pointed out the stars, all your worries melted away. Having laughs about the constellations he guessed wrong. Time passes fast when you have fun. You checked your watch. 3am. As you laid on his chest, you started feeling quite sleepy. As you fell asleep, you mumbled a near inaudible “I kinda… like you…” Little did you know, Captain was wide awake.

You woke up to someone shaking you violently. Gunshots can be heard in the distance. “HEY MAN, WAKE UP, WE’RE AT FUCKING WAR. FUCKING SURPRISE ATTACKS! THEY'VE SEIGED THE BASE, SOME GOT IN. HEY YOU WITH ME, KIDDO?” You vision starts blurring. You can feel Captain hoist you up onto his shoulder.

“INCASE I DIE, JUST KNOW THAT I FEEL THE SAME WAY. YOUR COURAGE AS A SOLDIER IS NEAR THE SAME SIZE AS MY MAGNUM DONG. IVE SEEN YOU OUT THERE, YA FEARLESS FUCKO! RUN OF THE MILL SOLDIER MY ASS. NOW LETS GO BEFORE WE GET FUCKING BLASTED!”

With each step he took the black spots in your vision spread, until…
