Update

Sorry there was no post today, and there may be none for another day or two, being a full time working ghoul keeps me busy you know... I'll be back on schedule as soon as I get the chance to draw again! Once again I'd like to thank everyone who engages with the posts, and all the lovely asks too~ I would like to respond to everything, and it's not always chronological, but trust I will get to yours in due time. "Fucking hell..." mutters the fire ghoul, a little taken aback. The Meliora pack had been pretty close-knit back in Terzo's heyday. Had been.

"Of course you'd say that, wouldn't you..." sighs the water fire ghoul. "Zeph..."

A sibling of sin knocked my horn again.. *sigh*

Now I have a giant piece missing..

He grins ruefully, and the shroud of memory clouds his eyes for a moment. "Hahah, keep your chin up kid, these things do happen to the best of us" When his eyes clear, he stops looking at his empty palm and looks back at you. "Some things take time to heal, and they probably won't grow back exactly how they were before... But they'll regrow all the same. You'll still be you, just different."

"Ah-!" he seems somewhat caught off guard, gaze a little blank for a moment, though he recovers quickly. "Been a while since anybody called me by that name. Usually just the older ghouls... Back from when I was still... Well."

He laughs lightly and shakes his head. "Well, it's still nice to speak to the fans. A stoic nameless ghoul at your service Mx." Sodo bows lightly, smiling once more.

How do you feel when during final bows you end up near mountain?

I mean he's... tall!

"How do I feel standing beside Mounty?" he grins, cackling already, "bricked the fuck up, next ques-" His word's halt when a hand sets down on his shoulder.

"What was that about me, solar flare?" asks Mountain, slow but amused.

"NOTHING"

The fire ghoul is tuning his guitar when he replies. "Aether's been doing fine, just fucking fine since that Phantomime-era fucker took over his role," he replies, some impressive amount of vitriol in his tone for so short a frame. "That kid'll do anything but play his damn guitar. He [Aether] should be up there playing with us. I know Rain misses it too."

Aether's voice cuts through, some distance away, causing the fire to look up from his task. "Sodo are you complaining about Phantom again...?" "Ghh..." "I already told you I don't mind it, and he's talented- life's about change, you know?" Sodomizer's face remains impassive, stubborn. "Should be your role Aeth. I stand by that." "I miss it too, but that's why I'm still on the tour with you guys." "Mmh..."

Finally Aether actually makes his way over to where Sodo's seated, and takes his face in his hands lightly, patient with the inferno he knows blazes in his partner's soul. "I'm never leaving you or Rain's side, Sodo. You know I'm always backstage cheering you on," he assures. "Yeah..." agrees the fire, sighing and leaning his forehead against the other ghoul's. He doesn't really hate Phantom, but sometime's it's hard to control that misplaced frustration. Who wouldn't feel hurt having one of their soulmates taken away from their nighty performances...?

How you liking the new Papa, Dew?

He grimaces slightly, shrugging as if to say he's not a big deal, in the fire ghoul's world.

"Yeah uh, well he's alright I guess, kinda flashy though? Like if Terzo and Copia's wardrobe budget had a baby."

Rain interjects, grinning with malice as he comes into frame, grabbing his mate's shoulder. "Oh he's obsessed with Perpetua's new songs, he won't stop riffing along to Peacefield and Missilia Amori~" Sodo looks like he wants to fade into the abyss. "Shut up Rain,,,"

I think the best way to heal a headache is a dark room, comforting music and something/someone one warm wrapped around you. Ask me how I know that :P (Coming from a ghoul with chronic headaches) - Cygnus ghoul

He seems pensive at this, seemingly not having previously considered the temperature aspect. "I definitely like the dark when those pains come 'round- as for warmth... Well, most fire ghouls run hot, but my body temp tends to uh... fluctuate..."

"...Not exactly like the other fire ghouls..." Sighs the guitarist, grimacing faintly. A little distance away, Aether's ears prick up at the comment, alert.

Aether wraps the other ghoul in a soft embrace, pulling him close, almost as if to shield him from his own thoughts.

"Luckily for our little spitfire, he does have someone warm to help," assures the quintessence with a smile. "Aeth..."

Considering how little I can write on the drawn segments, I might start adding more text/speech responses after, beyond what's in the image... Learning as I go, but appreciate all the fun and thoughtful asks I've been getting, despite being such a new blog. Keep them coming guys, I'd love to be able to have at least one response posted a day! Obviously I do have a damn job [being this fire a guitarist is hard work yaknow-] but the queuing function is very convenient. I put it in coffee sometimes for caffeine too, though the Siblings of Sin find that weird?
