I’m really manifesting starting college all over again this fall and finally doing it right

by right I mean putting myself first,

not crying when no one talks to me because I’ll make friends when it’s right,

not forcing (bad) relationships because I’m in such a hurry to make friends,

allowing myself to accept that my grades don’t have to be perfect they can just be,

not expecting myself to preform at the rate everyone else is,

appreciating that I’ve escaped DV, homelessness, prostitution, and genuine horror over the past two years of college and knowing now I don’t know have to suffer this time,

not expecting anything but being grateful for everything

this time I’m going to community college I won’t be homeless, I won’t be in DV relationship, I won’t be prostituting, so I won’t have that stress, I’ve also gotten into therapy and therapeutic groups, I’ve given myself all the tools on the exterior- now it’s time to work on the interior.

time will pass whether you move or not.

the only question is: will you be proud of how you used it?

start with what you can do today. • make one decision your future self will thank you for. • take one risk that scares you in a good way. • finish one thing you've been putting off because it's "too small" to matter.

the only way to get unstuck is to move while you’re still scared.
