Masking

you know, I hear a lot about Masking as someone who has a hyper fixation (special interest??) on neurodivergence and also has fairly severe ADHD. I’ve heard a lot from posts and art by autistic people (and some irl friends) but I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone talk about adhd or other masking.

I personally have a “work/school persona” which when I’m there I’m FOCUSED, quiet, obedient, and generally a kinda lawful neutral person. With my friends an at home I am anything but, I’m loud, chaotic, and while I don’t like breaking the rules I definitely will, very chaotic good according to my friends. It’s super exhausting and honestly a lot of times when I get home I can’t bring myself to do anything

Very cute lil bastards, I have a long hair tuxedo that’s my brothers who we named squishy. Him and Moo are menaces together and if Moo wasn’t a massive 33 lb barn cat, squishy would be the dominant dumbass Ehe

But I am freed on the 23rd of Dec as well, I’m hoping to grind hard on work and be done by the week prior, but that’s between me and the gods lol
